The Haters Are Hilarious

The reviewers who trash this movie do not know how to have any fun. Taking this film too seriously will kill your buzz. It's just a movie albeit a very entertaining movie that is, if you understand it.

The best way to enjoy this movie is too have a laid-back attitude. Have a couple of adult beverages and enjoy the plot. The acting is not bad as the haters believe. Sure it's a matter of opinion, however, not taking it seriously is a better way to enjoy it.

If you're looking for Oscar material or something deep deep in morality or life lessons, forget it. This movie is fun for the viewer, but only if the viewer goes in with the right attitude. Incidentally, you don't need adult beverages to enjoy it.

The Deep (1977)

The negative reviews indicate some viewers take movies too seriously or perhaps their own critique too seriously.

This movie is essentially good guys versus bad guys and along the way a good guy dies but in the end the bad guys get it. That's the way it should be.

The House in the Middle (1954)

...has this writer laughed hard at a so called PSA film. Not funny as RM but it's still hilarious.

One writer mentioned sprucing up the house before the nuclear holocaust.

That's the kind of sense of humor this film engages. For that I give it a 10.

Don't even try. Since when is an LMN movie believable in the first place? All a viewer needs to do is insert tongue in cheek and try to have a few laughs. Besides, the best part of these schtick flick movies are the last 10 minutes. That's where you get all the laughs.

Utilizing an Asian actor for the role would've made more sense. However, reviewer's whining about it doesn't have any redeeming qualities either.

One can chose to learn from it, move forward, and forget it or one can stay in the past in misery.

The show did indeed evolve after this pilot episode, however, it had to begin in some fashion as seen in the beginning of season 1 episode 1.

As the program developed, changes were implemented as it went along. It all began is it did.

Mr. Dennison letting Beaver hold his six shooter would be taboo nowadays. That scene in of itself makes for a 10 rating.

One would be hard pressed to find a scene like this on a program in today's environment.

The negative reviews reveal something very apparent. To quote Foghorn Leghorn, "There's something kind of ewww about a kid that never played baseball."

If the haters did play baseball they didn't learn much about it or being a kid. Especially being a boy kid. The haters are certainly entitled to their opinions, yet it is unfortunate their opinions are misguided by their seemingly inability to understand the entire concept of this movie.

There's no need for this writer to try and explain the concept because reviews are merely subjective. Rodriguez said it best. Don't think about it; just have fun.

The Whiners Don't Get It

Wally gets a look at some of the other real things in life. It's puzzling how the other reviewer's are giving this episode the business.

Even squeaky clean teenagers face temptations. Wally is no exception. Yet he handled it with maturity, dignity, and good common sense. For that Wally deserves a pat on the back. His parents raised him right even if June was an over the top helicopter mom.

This film is exactly what is it supposed to be. Footage taking from other films and spliced together with a human story attached to it. It's not a lousy film yet it's not a swell film. It's what it is meant to be. Something to watch.

The viewer can get past critiquing by simply watching it. If a viewer is looking for something spectacular try a ten star film.

The Bad Reviews, Are Bad Reviews

The writers of the bad reviews are missing two important points:

1) They are expressing an opinion without showing any substance to back them up.

2) They are also missing the whole point of the story. Character building is all over this movie. A life lesson is far better than being entertained in cinema.

The story is not about playing basketball or coaching basketball for that matter. It's about turning punks into men and reaching for a better place to be in life.

A couple of bad reviews don't do this movie justice. If those viewers don't care for it, that's fine. But telling others to not watch is ridiculous. Films like these are not meant to be taken seriously. One must posses a sense of humor to enjoy.

There are a couple choices. Relax and enjoy or watch something depressing.

The poor reviews made by some viewers seems misguided. Taking a film too seriously doesn't help bolster those viewers' opinions but that's ok. Opinions are subjective.

Being able to watch a feature without getting overly critical makes for a more enjoyable experience. Bless their hearts.

One of the most entertaining aspects about NLAH is reading the naysayer reviews. Reviews are certainly subjective, but unfortunately the hilariously bad reviews come from viewers who simply don't get it. Especially the viewers who saw it on TV. They probably are not a lot of fun at parties, either.

This reviewer gives the film an eight for comic relief and for hurting some feelings.

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)
