Videodrome (1983)

Long live the new flesh

After a while of knowing the existence of Videodrome i finally sat down and watched it. What makes this movie so creepy, is the fact that it predicted the internet. It predicted that real shock videos will become available to everyone. That makes this movie so creepy.

The acting is pretty good, no fault there. Music is okay. I am guessing that the message of the movie is the humanity being desensitizes to shock content. This movie was incredibly hard to follow, it did not make a lot of sense to me.

Imagine if you take Jacob's Ladder, and DeadAlive, you'd get this movie. I kind of enjoyed it, it wasn't a boring movie, but the plot just does not make a lot of sense to me. I found myself getting confused on many points in this movie... It's a mind-screw movie, with a interesting plot.

I kinda wish that they ditched the mind-screw and just focused on making a more coherent plot.

The Bunker (2015)

To anybody that says this movie is a Comedy, that's complete lie, this is a psychological piece.

I had no idea what i was getting into when i watched The Bunker, but it all makes sense in the end. It's a very weird movie, and abstract. However one question about this movie is still unanswered: What was that thing on the mother's leg, the wound speaking demon?? What was that thing? Everything else works.

We got a story that is kinda slow, but it all makes sense as you go further. I enjoyed it. I saw people compare this to Dogtooth. Dogtooth had no reason to exist, this movie has a point.

SPOILER ALERT

This whole movie is a metaphor of two things. One, the parents separating from their children, the grief of that aspect, and two, that the two can change their positions. The most genius person can turn into not the most bright, and the not the most bright, can turn into someone. There's also a third metaphor and that's friendship. How the most intelligent character loves the most mentally unwell character, and wise-versa.

I have no clue where the comedy comes from this movie. Nothing here was funny. I do not think this movie was meant to be a comedy at all. Instead it's a psychological piece that pokes holes at multiple society aspects.

If you liked The One Flew Over The Cucco's Nest, and Lunacy, you might enjoy this. Frankly the two movies i just mentioned i totally love, so you might get to enjoy this as well.

Also, please do not insult this movie by comparing it to Dogtooth. Thanks.

Polyester (1981)

John Waters wins again.

Before i start the review, I HAVE SEEN TWO OTHER FILMS FROM WATERS, first being obviously Pink Flamingos, and second one was Serial Mom. I think Polyester has to be the most fun one ive seen.

I loved every second of this movie. Sure the acting is not the best, but i do not care. Mr Waters does not cares about the acting that much, the man cares about the STORY, and i agree with the man 100%.

What matters the most in movies is The STORY. And this story rocks. I laughed so many times i was near to crying how funny this movie was. It was so crazy that you'll enjoy every second of it.

There really isn't any negative i can give to this movie. I love it. Polyester is an incredible movie, and you have to give it a try. I really want to now watch even more Waters films after this film.

You will never get bored from this movie that's for sure. It just keeps getting better and better!

Madness of Many (2013)

If Martyrs and Slaughter Vomit Dolls had a baby you'd get this.

I have seen one other movie from this director, and that was Sunken Danish. Well this movie fails under the same trap Sunken Danish did. The gore effects here are fine, everything else really goes no where.

There is zero plot to this. We follow a woman that escaped her abusive family when she was 23, and then we see scenes of her and other women getting brutally tortured and abused for no reason.

The audio mix is terrible, to the point i barely understood what she was saying. WATCH with SUBTITLES. The version i watched had nearly zero subtitles, so when i tried to listen to the actress, the music will just top her voice.

There are creative gore shots in this movie i'll give them credit there. The two women being ontop of each other for example. Honestly, this footage would of been awesome for a heavy metal band.

Like a heavy metal band could make a 3 minute song, and use the scenes from this movie for the music video, i think that would of worked much better then what we got here.

Honestly, only reason you'd wanna watch this is simply if you area Vomit Gore fan, then this is for you. But if you are looking for something with a plot, or any logic, probably not for you.

Basket Case (1982)

This is what i call good horror.

This easily goes up into one of the best horror films i have ever sat through, alongside HILLS HAVE EYES, REANIMATOR, SATAN'S SLAVE (the original), DEAD ALIVE, HOSTEL, MARTYRS the list goes on.

I freaking adored/loved this movie. Every second of it was good. It keeps you looped it. This whole is movie is a message to treat people with whatever disability they got as people. Not to keep them is baskets, or to bash them as MONSTERS for being different...

This is a movie where you will just feel bad for our main character, and his brother. Even though you want to hate them at the same time, you will love them at the same time, because they just want justice for all the injustice they went through...

When i say HORROR this is what i think of, not EVIL DEAD, ghost bs. Horror movies that are purely made to be horrifying without a message, or without a interesting plot isn't it for me.

This movie i strongly advise everyone to check it is that powerful.

Calvaire (2004)

Was going to give this a 5, but what the hell was that ending?

I went into this completely blind. First minus: The introduction. What should of been the ending of the movie, was actually the beginning. It should of been at the end. Instead, we put the ending at start, and the ending is just a red screen without an ending. Yes this movie does NOT have an ending. It ends on a guy getting eaten by mud. That's how the thing ends. Ending introduction absolute trash.

Next, first half of this movie was actually interesting. I wasn't bored during the movie, but the story was just too insane to be taken seriously. I was interested until the second half, when those guys with guns enter the house, and them as well think that the singer is the Olivia or the woman's name i forgot.

It made sense that the husband of his wife began having visions of her. THAT MADE SENSE To me, WHAT MAKES ZERO SENSE is the other people at the bar ALSO SEEING THIS GUY AS THE WOMAN. That makes zero logic, and made a somewhat interesting movie stink.

Ive seen a lot of French films: Inside, Irreversible, Captives, Frontier(s),,High Tension etc, and the only French horror movie that i love and praise is Martyrs, everything else is no where near as good as that movie.

Also this movie could of been half long, if the editors knew what they were doing. There's multiple scenes in this that are prolonged scenes for no reason what so ever. I was going to call this movie the French Last House on the Left, but there's no way to do so dye to the holes.

The Loved Ones (2009)

That's right guys. Taking three of films that i love with my heart, Carrie by Stephen King, HOBO with a SHOTGUN the Grindhouse classic, and Martyrs still the best horror ive ever seen, and this is the payoff.

I actually never got bored during this entire movie and that's something to be a proud of. The movie keeps rolling, and rolling, and rolling and always SOMETHING is going on. The psychotic family does an amazing job of playing a delusional, sick, perverse, evil family.

Only negative for this movie: Depth. I WISH we had MORE DEPTH of OUR VILLAINS. HOW DID THEY BECAME THIS WAY? HOW DID THEY START BUTCHERING THESE POOR TEENS?

Never the less, i LOVED This movie. True Crime + Grindhouse flick, you will adore this movie. Minus the depth, everything here is good in my opinion.

The Idiots (1998)

The reality of our lives is much darker when we come back to it, after we escaped it.

Before i begin the review. I have to say two things. Number one: To everyone that said this movie is a CoMeDy you are wrong. There might be 3-4 scenes that are funny, but this movie is a drama. One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, and this movie are extremely similar in my opinion. However, this movie is no where near as powerful and well written as Cuckoos nest.

Number two: This is the 3rd movie that i have seen from Von Trier. The other two are Antichrist and The House that Jack Built. This movie towers over the two other films in every aspect.

The movie's message is clear: Happiness + Freedom. It's scary how this movie was made to make you kinda hate the main guy Stoffer. And then the ending comes in and right knocks you out like a truck stomping over you.

Every actor here does a good job. There isn't really a bad actor here. The movie does keep you looped it. However, in between of this film, the movie gets a bit slow, but then rockets again after the 40 minutes mark.

Another message from this film is escaping your suffering. All of the characters that are in this "Nuthouse" are suffering in their own ways, and this this madhouse that they made made them happy. Why? Because they managed to forget the agonizing reality of their lives at their homes...

This movie was incredibly good, just i kinda wish we had a bit more depth to our characters, because most of them are kinda flat. But then again, that does not break the power of this movie. This movie managed to tower over both 2 previous films directed by Von Trier.

The Theatre Bizarre (2011)

Like any Anthology film, has it's good segments, and has it's bad segments.

I have heard and seen the banner of this movie a few times, and finally it was the time to watch it. I got a big problem and that's i have watched this without subs, which means i had to follow the movie the best as i can. When i have subs i can accurately follow the plot(s). This time it was a bit different.

1st story: The couple Lovecraft frog story. I can tell you that it's unique, and pretty dull. There really isn't much going on except this couple decides to visit a witch, that then turns both of them into frogs. That's pretty much it. I think i need to know about the original Lovecraft story that this was based on, in order to truly understand this.

2nd story: Was i think the best of all 6. This story would of benefited if it was it's own movie. What i mean is, i wish that we had more info on how truly did our two main stars love each other. Like a more more indepth build up. It is a fascinating story, of spiral into Madness. The acting seemed fine, the gore effects are the best of all 6 stories, and this segment needs it's own film.

3rd story: Funny. That's all what i can say. It's was a "meme" story about nightmares. However, the ending kind of sucked because the ending was spoiled with both of their dreams. However, i still found the second story funny, and interesting take on dreams.

4rd story: Pointless. A kid is asking her mom about death. That's is the 4th story. Felt incredibly boring, and out of left field. Every story seems are a titan compared to this one. This feels like it does not belong here at all, and it just felt incredibly slow. Maybe if the 4th story had it's own movie, that could of helped?

5th story: Mixed bag. At first, it was fascinating. At first, i though that all of this was kinda stupid, because why do you have to end someone, in order to write a story about them??? It does not make sense, when you can just interview them? Or i think this is it: Our main character can not dream, so she takes other peoples lives as dreams? She then tries to cross the line with understanding what happens before life, which escalates in her getting punished for it. (Herself). It's a unique story i can tell you that, but i am unsure how much sense it makes.

6th story: Minus the gore, everything else was just bad. Probably the worst story of all. However, the main actress in this segment is pretty good looking.

Score: A Tier: 2nd Story (This deserves it's own movie. The twist at the end really makes everything tighter.) 5th Story (It was unique, even though it does not make much sense, it still was a fascinating watch).

B Tier 3rd Story (As i said, a goofy story, that makes you chuckle).

4th Story (Too slow. Again i think it would benefit if it was it's own movie, prolonged).

C Tier 1st Story 6th Story

I mean if you enjoyed the V/H/S Franchise and Tales of Halloween, you'll probably find something here that you'll like.

Hunger (1966)

Stumbled upon this by accident, it looked interesting and it does live the expectations.

This whole movie was honestly amazing. It's hard to differentiate how much is our main character mentally-ill and how much he is just isolated from the world, so his isolation made him this way.

Acting pretty good, nobody turned a bad performance. Plot is well, as you can already tell, our main anti-villain lets just say, not having anything, and then getting everything he wished for, but the wishes turn into mass madness.

The only thing i think could of been better was the ending. The ending just seems a bit rushed, and it's not what i expected from this movie. Never the less, everything else is pretty good. I can tell you i was following the movie very patiently, and it does keep you sucked in. The movie clocks in at 2 hours, and it felt like 30+ minutes.

What makes this movie so good, is the fact that i can not tongue pin any movies that would be similar to this one. Maybe Seize the Day, Requiem for A Dream, Happiness? But i think all the movies i listed aren't as unique as this movie is. Not saying that the movies i listed aren't good, it's just they aren't as unique as this movie was.

Minus the ending, everything here works. The movie is a bit slow during the introduction, but it gets better and better. And you do are in such a mixed bag of emotion what to think of our main character.

Is this movie depressing? No, it's a drama about life it's not ultra sad. When i think of sad i think of Grave of the Fireflies or Triangle, those movies burn your eyes, this isn't that. But it is still pretty good.

Hotel Inferno (2013)

If DOOM was turned into a movie...

Started kind of interesting, and then went down hill real fast. The gore effects are pretty good. Everything else no. The voice acting bad, the storyline makes zero sense, and the whole movie is just our main character the hitman, trying to escape this evil hotel, filled with zombies, and horrific things. This feels like somebody watched DeadAlive and played the DOOM franchise, combined them together, and make this. While that might sound like a interesting idea, it's not well executed here.

None of our characters have any depth, any reason to care, any character structure. Everyone has minimal depth to the point of not caring. I did not care about any of these characters because none of them had any depth or reason to care about them in the 1st place. The only reason why you'd want to watch this is because of the effects. That's the only reason you'd sit through this thing.

Two previous reviews gave it a 1, i was about to as well, but i have to respect the effects. This is for the same people that enjoyed The Collector or The Skull Head film forgot the name of it. If you like movies that have zero plot, and just bunch of gore, go right ahead. As for me... No. I already got DeadAlive and Premutos on my list that do a much better job.

Suburban Mayhem (2006)

What a weird movie.

There's so much stuff going on here it's really hard to follow. None of our characters really have any depth except Katrina. She's the only one that truly is developed. Everybody else really isn't.

The whole movie is about well Katrina trying to get her brother out of jail. So she manipulates everyone around her and get everyone in trouble for her own gain.

The movie is NOT boring at all to me, however it still is a movie that kinda dry's out after a while. It isn't a heavy story plot, it's fairly simple and the acting seemed a bit wooden.

I read somewhere that the movie was based on real events, and to that i'd like to ask for source what was this based upon? I kinda wish we had more depth to these characters and a bit better acting, and less musical scenes. The movie is filled with those and they are there just to prolong the film.

RE Update: I actually found on what this movie was based on. Now i have to re-watch this because it's actually based on real events, even though you'd never believe that a movie like this would be based on actual events, the again Compliance 2012 was based on true events as well.

Grimm Love (2006)

Not what i was expecting.

Before writing the review, i have to state that i already know of knew what i was getting my self into. Learned about this case ages ago, and ive seen like 2 years ago the movie Cannibal from 2006, so i already had knew what is coming up.

The movie could of been much better. Main issue is the sub plot of Katie. That whole subplot does not fit here. Instead of focusing on our main characters, Kati gets the most development, and her only purpose in the film is to watch this urban tape.

Second problem is that the movie is extremely confusing. The beginning, where we see our two prime characters growing up, it's really hard to follow. You get mixed up who are we following, are following Oliver or are we following the victim, or The Flesh.

I am shocked how tame this was compared to the Marian Dora's film, which is in every way effect wise superior over this movie. If you want to truly see how horrific this case is, i'd strongly advise the Marian Dora film.

I think if this movie did not have Katie's sub-plot, we'd have a more interesting watch. I think the whole purpose of Katie's role is that she gets so traumatized that she breaks the tape. That was the point that she breaks the tape. But if you are sensitive to human depravity, why study criminology? Why pick this case as your lead subject matter? Why is she obsessed with this case in the first place? Nothing is really explained there, she just seems completely forced into this movie.

Camera work is great, the acting seems okay, music is morbid hunting, the effects are tame as hell and when i heard about this movie, i thought it was going to be as graphic and hard core as Marian Dora's film was. But no, no where near Marian Dora's level.

This movie however was informative in some aspects, how both of the men lost their mothers, how both are lonely in a way, how both fantasized about this for years now.

I think i have to rewatch this movie mostly because of the first half.

Buoyancy (2019)

Very good until the last 20 minutes which lowers the quality of the film.

This movie is a powerful movie message wise, acting wise, camera shots are gorgeous but i had only one problem and that's the editing. There are shots that last way longer then it should of been. Also i think what could of benefited this movie is learning more about our main heroes life, and then like after 20 minutes we get on the ship, because we know very little about him and his family.

However my biggest issue with this film is the ending. Im sorry but the percentage of that happening in a situation where our main hero was, is just impossible. You are going to tell me that a 14 y old is capable of beating up 3 guys in their 30s. The whole movie lost it's build up, of a kid leaving his family, and get in a worse position.

The kid attacking the 3 guys was totally out of left field and feels like the writers had no idea how to end the movie, so they force fed us this ending. Minus the ending, everything else works. I enjoyed the film i just did not enjoy the ending. Yes of course im happy that he survived and he got back on this land, it's just that scenario does not seem how this movie would end.

I mean if you like revenge films like I spit on your grave, Hobo with shotgun, Thriller Cruel Picture, but in a slower tone, because this is a slow movie, where everything slowly builds up to a climax, you might enjoy this. I did, except i wish we had a bit more depth to our characters, and the ending is totally pulled me out.

According to the wikipedia page, the movie is based on a true story. However, i can not find anywhere source on what this movie is based truly on. I'd like to know. I just did not expect the main hero to attack those 3.

Island of Death (1976)

If Se7en wasn't prologned and boring.

Title says it all. This movie is what Se7en should of been. A movie that has normal pacing, and has elements to keep the movie interesting. Instead, Se7en is 2 hours of investigation and 20 minutes of fun content, which is bs. Island of Death actually provides content that is interesting and that you can care for.

Instead of following two detectives, we follow two young adults, that are in a incest relationship. However, the sister is clearly forced into all of this, while the brother, the mastermind coordinates what they will have to do next. The girl clearly has moral standards and knows what they are doing is wrong, but at the same time, she loves her brother and she is afraid of him.

I loved the ending of this movie. This movie never gets boring, honestly. If you haven't picked up already, the brother (and sister by force), together go and hunt down people that are sinners. From gays, to prostitutes, to lesbians, you name it. All get killed and tortured. Except the farmer, who IS INNOCENT, and they have nothing against him to have a justifiable reason to WHY to kill him.

This whole movie was amazing. I actually was worried what was the point, that i wasn't going to like it. Man i loved this movie. Acting is fine, camera work is great, effects are fine, audio is a bit muffled but still does not ruin the movie. Ultimately i strongly recommend this thing. If you enjoyed Do Not Torture a Duckling, you'll probably going to love this movie.

Kissed (1996)

Still puzzled what is the message of this.

I am just confused what i just watched. Ive already seen the movies Nekromantik, it's sequel, Corpse of Anna Fritz and Aftermath, so this wasn't a shocker from that perspective cuz ive seem movies that pull that subject matter as well.

What boggles my mind is what was the point of the movie? The movie shockingly was produced well. However, it's really hard to understand what was the message.

Acting, camera work, lighting, plot everything works. I wasn't really bored at all during this movie, it's just it's really hard to understand what and why.

This is the first time that i honestly do not know how to review a movie. I am so confused and puzzled what is the message. There clearly is a message in this movie, but i just can not pull it out.

What is messed up is how normal she behaves, and how nobody can even caught her doing this and how all of this is hidden from the eye of society. I wouldn't be shocked that this happens more often then we really think.

I was expecting that the boyfriend after realizing how insane she is, that he'd dump her, but no he is just as insane. The only likeable character in this movie is the guy that cleans the floor.

Every other character is not likeable at the slightest if am being hones. I am on fence with this movie and i'm really not sure what else to say...

Eaten Alive! (1980)

Really a fun watch.

I actually really enjoyed this movie. Even though yes this movie is technically a rip off of Cannibal Holocaust which is an incredible movie, it still manages to be it's own unique movie.

This movie brings in politics as well, and how both the modern life is just as filthy. The movie was actually pretty good. The acting was solid for the most part. The writing the movie does keep you looped in. I wasn't really bored during this movie at all.

The gore was pretty good, the camera work is fine, the music was a bit repetitive but also pretty good. It's an amazing message, in Cannibal Holocaust it's Who are the real cannibals, here it's who is living life correctly?

Is Jonas living life correctly? Are the cannibals living their lives correctly? Is the modern life the cities are they living life correctly? That's the message i got out from this movie, it asks what is actually correct way of living. Sure you can obviously say the cities, but to the Cannibals, and Jonas it's not the right way. As Jonas said the cities are corrupted and filthy in their own ways.

Cannibal Ferox is kinda a complete rip off of Cannibal Holocaust, Eaten Alive has it's own spin, and actually has a different message berried inside of it. Cannibal Ferox was too similar to Holocaust, this actually had it's own universe, and it's actually unique in it's own way.

If you enjoyed Cannibal movies, like Cannibal Holocaust, Jungle Holocaust, Cannibal Ferox, Green Inferno, any many other Cannibal Movies, i can tell you Eaten Alive is a fun watch, and it keeps you looped in.

Sure it's not as well made as the original Holocaust, but it still is a fun watch.

Hard Candy (2005)

Interesting story, that needs more development of characters, and a bit of gore.

Hard Candy is a movie that was on my list to watch for a very long time. After finally watching it. I was a bit disappointed. There are two movies that are based on the same idea as this movie and that is 7 Days and Daddy's Little Girl. Both of the movies i just listed are far more interesting then this movie was.

The acting was alright, the camera work is fine, i just find the movie a bit dull, and neither of our characters are really developed. Both the girl and the Jeff we barely know anything about them, except they have chatted online. I wish we had like 10 minutes of depth at least to the girl, why is she doing what she is doing? You can say, sure justice for the ones that do this stuff. But the matter is, she is just a teen, why would a teen this age do this?

Also the movie is ridiculously tame. Compared to Daddy's Little Girl and 7 Days that both showcase gore, and they make the movie 20 times more interesting. This movie i wish i could put it in the same league, but it's just not. There really isn't any gore. All of it it's offscreen, only a vasectomy scene that never is shown and that's kinda the whole movie. The idea is good i am not saying that, i am just saying the movie is too slow.

Also, the main heroine of the movie, the girl. I had a bit of a problem with her. She does not come off as likeable. She just has a brat attitude and i wish they made her a bit more likeable like Hobo from Hobo with a Shotgun, she really comes off as a little brat.

I am on a fence with this movie, at one hand it was sort of fun, in the other it just drags forever, and there is zero gore.

Ma mère (2004)

Absolute Garbage

I forgot when was the last time i had to skip parts of a movie how boring it was. Behold this movie managed to get that crown. I waited patiently for 1 HOUR for something fun to happen, any depth, any reason to care, any likeability of our characters but no.

This whole movie is complete waist of time, because there is no reason to care, barely any plot, barely anything interesting, the whole movie is just a mess. The acting is alright, but that means nothing when all of your characters are extremely unlikable.

You will grow to hate every single character in this movie, from the Ma Mere, to her whiny son, to her husband. Why was he even in the movie when he dies like 5 minutes into the movie? Did we really need an actor for that???

Also, this movie does an horrible job when it comes to length of angles. There are shots that last forever nothing is going on, and the scene just gets totally boring.

This movie is probably one of the worst things i'll ever see in 2024 i am sure of that. No reason for this movie to exist.

Kite (1998)

First half kinda dull, second half pretty good.

I do not watch anime nearly at all. Kite was a movie i found by accident, i heard it is gory and it was a exploitation anime film. I can tell you the animation is pretty well made. However, i wish we had a bit more depth on our characters, meaning the victims.

I wish we had more depth into Sawa and Oburi, their past, more depth to these victims you want to care about. Sawa and Oburi kinda remind me of Lucie and Ana from Martyrs, but in Martyrs i really feel just horrible for both of them, here i did not get the same effect. Why? Because none of them have high written depth.

However, the story is a fun one, and this is the truth: When you begin working in the crime sphere, someone will always have you on their RADAR, and this movie does that flawlessly. Voice acting to me seems to be solid enough.

I only got two negatives: I wish we had more depth to our two main victims, characters, and i wish the first half of this movie was a bit more interesting. The first half is kinda dull and prolonger not as interesting as the second half. The second half saves this movie.

In the end if you enjoyed Ichi the Killer, Vengeance, Lady Vengeance, Old Boy, Machine Girl best bet is to put this thing in the same boat.

Meat Grinder (2009)

Bloodbath That Is Extremely Hard To Follow.

This movie was actually pretty solid. The gore effects are very well made executed. I actually knew of the movie Meat Grinder for about a year or two, and i never had my chance to watch it. Now i did, and this movie i need to rewatch it because there's so much stuff in it that it gets really hard to follow.

What i picked up is a woman that went through extreme amount of trauma, begins hurting others dye to being hurt. The movie does remind me of my favorite horror movie Martyrs to a degree. And dye to her suffering so much in her life, and her childhood, and well losing her innocent one, she begins hurting everybody around herself.

What makes this movie so interesting is the fact that everything seems NORMAL! When people enter to eat at her restaurant, every single thing seem to be peaceful normal, and the movie does that job pretty well.

I got a few negatives however: They use too many times the fade to black. It gets really annoying. Some of the camera shots are longer then they should of been. I think the movie could of been trimmed a bit and we'd have a stronger movie.

Then again i have watched the Tai Cut, i am not sure how different the uncut version is, and what did i miss. Still this movie was a fun watch, and if you enjoyed the MACHINE GIRL, you'll most likely enjoy the Meat Grinder.

Lipstick (1976)

This was a pretty good movie. The acting is pretty good, the story is strong, our characters aren't the deepest but they sure work. This is a more mature, serious, realistic version of tons of Revenge films like I spit on your grave. This movie does it's job really well, it reminds me of the Russian classic Voroshilov Sharpshooter, this fails under the same boat as that movie.

I really did enjoy this movie. Our villain his acting is perfect, a emotionless heartless monster, the actor plays his role top notch. Everyone here does a good job and i do surely highly recommend this movie if you like good revenge flicks like Voroshilov Sharpshooter, Hobo with a Shotgun, Thriller a Cruel Picture, and many other great revenge films that really showcase how we can not contain ourselves after it kept ramping up.

The only negative i have is i wish we had a bit more depth to our characters, to see how good of a teacher the villain is, how he was before he turned into a Monster, and the music that he composes really isn't the greatest in my opinion sounds too weird for me. Nether the less, it's a good movie to watch in my opinion.

Silenced (2011)

If you do not cry during this, you do not have a soul. There are only two movies that broke me that i know, and that's Grave of the Fireflies and Triangle, this thing is in the same boat. And when i learned in the end that the movie is based on true events, it makes everything 50 times worse and more depressing to watch and listen to.

There's zero negatives for this movie. Acting amazing, video work perfect, story incredibly strong, everything here is top notch and if you want a movie to truly break your soul like Grave of the Fireflies did, Silenced does the job just as much.

The plot is so disturbing to swallow, that in a educational system the head master and his colleagues decide to commit such insane crimes, is just beyond sickening, and it makes me want to boil my eyes out knowing how common this kind of crimes are especially now since the internet exists, it beyond sickening and this movie deserves to be in the spotlight and it's something that everyone should watch to understand what this hell-hole really is like.

This movie is extremely hard to watch, especially knowing that everything we are watching is based on a referenced real life case. I found out about it being real in the end of the movie, i thought all of it was fiction, but no. No...

There's nothing negative or bad i can say about this movie, that's how good this thing really is. This will probably be in the TOP 5 best Movies of 2024, i am pretty sure it is.

Necrophobia (1995)

Could of been better... If we had faster pacing and depth.

I have seen the title of this movie and the cover-art and i thought it looked interesting. The comments nail it correctly, this is clearly inspired by Chainsaw Massacre, and i am not a big fan of slashers in general.

Lets we what we got here, the acting seems okay, the camera work is the old-school 80s 90s vibe, the gore is kinda tame, but the plot is wonky to say the least. The plot is this woman is scared of death, so she becomes a serial killer like Leather face, that's kinda the whole plot.

This could of been good if it was better paced, if we had character depth, if i cared about any of these people. But honestly i did not, i just cared a bit about the female villain of this movie, because she had the most depth, every other character lacks depth, and a reason to care.

I have to say that most of this movie the first half is really dull and boring, and it slowly picks up after time, but then you kinda just lost interest as you go further into the movie, at least i did. This is for the people that enjoyed classic slasher movies like Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13, Halloween.

Child of Rage (1990 TV Movie)

Terrifying.(That she had to go through that)...

Before i start this review, yes i already seen the Child of Rage movie from 1992 and i really enjoyed it. After watching this, they did hit the nail pretty well. The movie was based on this case, and both of the movies are haunting. This is a documentary rather then a movie. There isn't much to say since it's a documentary, a interview with a victim of horrible abuse, and how she thanks God got cured from all the abuse.

I only got one negative and that's i need subtitles. I watched this without and multiple times the audio is pretty bad it was really hard to understand what she was saying and others. The audio isn't the best here, but everything else is a important story to listen to, just like 3096 Natasha's case is important, i think Child of Rage fits in the same boat of recovering and trying to get back on your feet after going through hell.
