Full Moon recently started taking a different approach to their long-running Puppet Master franchise. Rather than continue making Puppet Master movies that feature multiple puppets, they’re now focusing on solo puppet movies. These solo spin-offs got started with Blade: The Iron Cross in 2020 and continued with last year’s Puppet Master: Doktor Death. Now, in a new episode of his Full Moon Universe YouTube show, Full Moon founder Charles Band has announced that the next entry in the Puppet Master franchise is the solo puppet movie Puppet Master: Furnace Leech Woman.
It’s a bit odd that the movie isn’t just being called Puppet Master: Leech Woman, but there is reason for the addition of “Furnace” in there. Since late last year, Full Moon has been giving out replica puppets that are designed to look like the puppet Leech Woman after she was burned in a furnace in Puppet Master II.

Award-winning veterans of the horror/sci-fi genres today announced the launch of Dark Ride Entertainment and its partnership with Struans Media. Struans Media's financial investment in Dark Ride will fully fund its first slate of eight genre films to be completed by 2015.
"Dark Ride was created to fill a void in fun, entertaining horror and sci-fi films with great production values that can be made at an affordable cost," said William Butler, the president of Dark Ride Entertainment. "The team at Dark Ride has all done this successfully before; we're fortunate to have developed a cost effective system of production, and we're excited to go on this ride with Struans Media. Killer Film was present for the launch of FullMoonHorror.com at Meltdown Comics in Hollywood, California. It was a huge gathering of Full Moon alumni as Charles Band and his Full Moon Pictures empire introduced a new website that is a bit of viral marketing genius. Getting to rub my shoulders with the stars and downing a few drinks is an awesome way to spend a Friday night on the town. These are exciting times for Full Moon horror fans!

Can the world stomach a third Gingerdead Man movie? You better have an appetite for more because the foul-mouthed maniac cookie is back for a third helping, and this time he's time traveling back to the 1970's to dish out some disco death.
Charles Band has released the first trailer from the third unlikely installment in the Gingerdead Man franchise, the whimsically titled Gingerdead Man 3: Saturday Night Cleaver. The plot this time somehow has the psycho pastry hopping into a time machine to go on a killing spree in the disco era. William Butler (Furnace) directed and co-wrote this latest campy tale mixing rolling pin chills with roller boogie thrills.
An April DVD release has been hinted at even though no official date has been announced yet. Experience the trailer below. Something tells me this won't be getting a four-knife review like I so infamously gave the original, but at the same time,...

It Happened In Hollywood Last Night is our new column about the Night World of our City of Fallen Angels.
British rock musician and vocalist Harry "the Dog" Bridgen unveiled his new All-Star Traveling Soul Circus after a spirited introduction by Bai Ling, at the Unknown Theater on Seward in Hollywood (a cool and spacious theater, complete with bar area, all hidden behind a single door. As they said in Swingers, "It sort of has a speakeasy feel." )
Joining the band on guitar was musician-actress Jenny McShane (below), who has starred in the Shark Attack series of films, along with Furnace and The Watcher, opposite Keanu Reeves.

Some of the many colorful guitars Jenny played were Gibson USA custom guitars.
