After The Traitors took the world by storm, high concept reality shows which aren’t about dating are hot property.
The Underdog: Josh Must Win is the latest bingeable reality show “with a twist” and it appears to be setting itself up as a series which pierces the image of the typical reality contestant in favour of elevating an average bloke called Josh, who is neither especially handsome, nor polished, nor confident and therefore is not what we have come to expect from such shows. It’s pitched as a nicer brand of reality show. But is it, really?
The set up is this: nine contestants think they are on a popularity contest called “The Favourite”, but secretly they are actually in a show called “Josh Must Win” and are being manipulated off screen by four “celebrities” – presenter Nick Grimshaw and former reality stars Vicky Pattison, Amber Gill and Pete Wicks...

The BBC has revealed more details about this year’s Comic Relief telethon, which will be broadcast on 15th March on BBC One.
Comic Relief launched in 1985 with a telethon that has since become embedded in British culture. Known as Red Nose Day, on account of the red noses sold as part of the appeal, over the years this has led to many classic comic moments, from The Young Ones singing Livin’ Doll with Cliff Richard, to Johnny Depp and Sting appearing in The Vicar Of Dibley, to Billy Connolly running naked through Trafalgar Square and Mr Bean infiltrating both Blind Date, and a Torvill and Dean dance routine.
Lenny Henry, who co-founded Comic Relief with Richard Curtis, recently revealed that he will be stepping down as host after this year’s telethon. Henry said of his decision that “when we first started Comic Relief back in 1985, I never dreamed...

It's the end of the line for another Netflix series.
Deadline is reporting that the streamer has announced the upcoming fifth season.
Alexander Dreymon, who plays Saxon warrior Uhtred of Bebbanburg, said in a statement, “Playing Uhtred for five seasons has been a wonderful journey.”
Added EP Nigel Marchant: “With such a loyal fanbase, we’re excited to give viewers a chance to follow Uhtred on the next stage of his epic quest, where not everyone survives.”
News of the conclusion means that Bernard Cornwell's Saxon Stories novel series will not be fully adapted since the fifth season is said to be based on the ninth and tenth books in the 13-pear series.
The good news for fans is that the final season is currently in production, so there should be some semblance of a conclusion when it's all said and done.

Netflix is parting ways with another show.
The Duchess, from British comedian Katherine Ryan, has been canceled after a single season.
The Duchess, the comedian’s debut scripted comedy series which followed the powerful and problematic choices of a fashionably disruptive single mom living in London.
Her daughter, Olive, is her greatest love, so she begins to debate having a second child with her greatest enemy -- Olive’s dad.
Ryan broke the news on Vicky Pattison's The Secret To... podcast.
“[Netflix] didn’t want to make any more, not enough people watched it. I think something like 10 million people watched it in 28 days and that wasn’t enough,” she said.
“But also, I’m not terribly sad about it. I feel like it’s a whole lot of work, a whole lot of time to make a sitcom. I was so grateful to able to make it, but I think it speaks for itself.

Vicky Pattison thinks her ex-boyfriend Stephen Bear is ''vile'' and ''conniving''. The former 'Geordie Shore' star enjoyed a four-month romance with the 'Ex On The Beach' hunk but their relationship abruptly ended when he kissed his ex Connie Wiltshire on screen, leaving Vicky feeling furious. She ranted: ''I've learned an awful lot from Stephen Bear and I suppose I should thank him for that. He's literally the most vile, horrendous, snaky, conniving and manipulative person I have ever met. ''I'm truly shocked that I've allowed myself to be so taken in - but there you go. Love is blind, or in my...

Stephen Bear wouldn't have been interested in Vicky Pattison if she hadn't lost weight. The 'Ex on the Beach' star has been dating the 'Geordie Shore' beauty since June and though they are now smitten with one another, he admits he wouldn't have approached her if she hadn't gone from a size 16 to a 6 before they met. He said: ''I know this is going to sound shallow but I wouldn't get to know that person. ''You've got to be physically attracted to them. I wouldn't invest my time in someone like that.'' The couple - who met on the third series of...

Joss Mooney thinks Vicky Pattison finds it hard to trust men. The 27-year-old hunk - who briefly dated the 'Geordie Shore' star after meeting on the last series of 'Ex on the Beach' - has admitted he's happy his former flame has found love with the MTV show's current cast member Stephen Bear because he believes she struggles with trust issues. He exclusively told Bang Showbiz: ''It's hard for her to find a guy that she can trust because of who she is. Like, she meets a lot of people, so if she's happy with him then all the best for...

MTV's Ex on the Beach is returning for a third series - as so are the show's former stars Rogan O'Connor and Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison.
Speaking to Digital Spy, the pair - along with first-time contestant Amy Cooke - reveal how some contestants resorted to quitting the show, while others were mercilessly culled with newly imposed evictions.
"If you weren't cutting the mustard, if you weren't gelling or we didn't want you in our villa then you got kicked out. It was cutthroat this time round," Vicky disclosed.
The group also share salacious details on all the romances in Mexico, and which ones survived the show...
Why did you return to the series?
Rogan: The second series (my first series) was the best experience of my life. When you start on it it's very easy to get on with everyone and you establish relationships and friendships, and it's kind of like your house.

Vicky Pattison thinks sex is a ''waste of time''. The 'Geordie Shore' star claims she finds being intimate with men ''uncomfortable and awkward'' and would prefer to spend time with her friends. She said: ''To be honest, sex feels like a waste of time and I'd rather be doing something else, such as having a nap or seeing my mates. ''I find the whole thing uncomfortable and awkward. ''I've had rough sex in the past and used sex toys but I find it all a bit brutal and it's not my thing. ''The kinkiest thing I've done that I've enjoyed is dressing up in a...
