Match #1: 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal – Winner: “Big” Bronson Reed The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
“Big” Bronson Reed etched his name in history as he won the 2024 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in thrilling fashion. Omos looked like the early favorite as he tossed out Kit Wilson, prompting Elton Prince to voluntarily eliminate himself to join his Pretty Deadly partner and avoid the wrath of The Nigerian Giant. As the field dwindled, Ricochet was poised to take control, but he was shockingly eliminated by Jd McDonagh, who was then promptly superkicked over the top rope by Akira Tozawa. Tozawa, Reed, Ivar and Otis were the final four Superstars, and the Aussie giant stood tall after eliminating the Viking Raider.

We were lucky enough to be in attendance for the Smackdown taping in Philadelphia. The taping happened at the Wells Fargo Center which is directly across the street from Lincoln Financial Field which will be hosting WrestleMania 40 over the weekend.
Ko Show
The opening of the show saw Kevin Owens host his Ko show with guest Randy Orton. Logan Paul who they both face in a triple threat match on Sunday. Paul mocked them from across the street the site of WrestleMania which led to a comedic chase around both Wells Fargo and the Link. Until Orton and Ko eventually tricked Ko to come to the ring where Paul was eventually beaten down by both men.

Match #1: Kevin Owens def. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In a first-time matchup, Kevin Owens contended with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio for a spot in the Elimination Chamber Match. R-Truth came down to ringside, confusing Owens for The Miz and leaving The Prizefighter bewildered. Owens thought he had the match finished after a ring-rocking cannonball followed by a Frog Splash, but Mysterio kicked out at 2.999. Conversely, Mysterio thought he had the match locked up with a 619, but Ko kept the match alive. Match #1: Kevin Owens def. Austin Theory The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In a reversal of fortunes, the same plan that Logan Paul executed against Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble backfired on the United States Champion this time. As Ko was looking strong against Theory, Paul, providing guest commentary, tossed the 150 million-hit man a pair of brass knuckles. Owens was able to snatch the weapon from Theory’s hand, however, nailing the former U.S. Champion square in the jaw. This time the referee did not see the infraction, allowing Owens to walk away with the victory.

It has been a busy week for the WWE. Not only did the company announce a major move that will see its flagship weekly show move to Netflix in 2025, but the company’s founder Vince McMahon also found himself at the center of yet another controversy that led to his exit from the company. However, on Saturday, Jan. 27, neither of those stories will matter as the WWE superstars will compete in one of the most beloved matches of each and every year, the Royal Rumble. You will not want to miss any of the action when it kicks off on Peacock at 8 p.m. Et. In addition to the men’s and women’s rumbles, there will be a match for the United States title and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. You can watch with a subscription to Peacock.

Trick Melo Gang is on the same page as Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes took down Edris Enofé and Malik Blade in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Trick and Melo came out hot, but the supreme athleticism of Blade and Enofé evened the playing field in a big way, highlighted by tandem splashes to the outside. We had a visit to the Army of the Damned set earlier this year (Part 1 and Part 2) and were stunned by the eclectic and diverse cast. Rock band Godsmack's frontman Sully Erna was there as well as horror icons Tony Todd and Michael Berryman, 'N Sync's Joey Fatone, wrestlers Tommy Dreamer, Maria Kanellis and Thea Trinidad, David Chokachi from "Baywatch" and veteran horror star Nick Principe. As fans of horror and entertainment in general, we thought our readers would appreciate meeting these cast members, and now producer Chad A. Verdi is making that a reality at this year's Rock and Shock convention.

To say that producer Chad A. Verdi has made a splash on the horror industry would be quite the understatement. In just the last two years he has produced films starring Robert Englund, Tony Todd, Michael Berryman and many more.
And he's just getting started.
Verdi inked a four-picture deal with Screen Media guaranteeing him distribution for his films before they were even made. A monumental feat for an independent film company. Now Verdi continues to add to his catalog of films, and even landed legendary director Martin Scorsese to co-produce a project he's always dreamed of making.
Verdi recently sat down with Dread Central to talk about his recently wrapped film Army of the Damned and his upcoming projects. "I feel Army of the Damned is the best horror movie we've made yet. No question about it," Verdi said. I think the actors came in, they delivered and with...

Recently Woodhaven Pictures invited Dread Central to visit the set of their newest project, Army of the Damned, and the cast was so unique that we had to take them up on the offer. This is the conclusion of our set visit report.
Our first article on the Army of the Damned set visit contained interviews with Tony Todd, Nick Principe, Tommy Dreamer, Thea Trinidad, Maria Kanellis and Jackie Moore. Read on to see who shows up in Part Two.
He's a newcomer to the acting business, but certainly not to entertaining audiences. Sully Erna, lead singer of rock band Godsmack, made his feature film debut in Army of the Damned. "This is my first lead in a movie and it's cool," Erna said. "It's an action/horror and there's some good sarcastic New England humor in it. They put me together with three other cops that play beside me.

It's not often we hear of a cast as unique as the one producer Chad A. Verdi and Woodhaven Pictures put together for their upcoming film Army of the Damned. So when we got an invite to visit the Rhode Island set, it was a no-brainer.
Headlined by horror legend Tony Todd, the cast was an amazingly diverse bunch, and we got a chance to talk to all of them about their experiences filming Army of the Damned. There were so many key contributors to this movie that we had to break our report into a two-part series; in this section we talk with Todd, horror mainstay Nick Principe, wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer, gorgeous wrestlers Maria Kanellis and Thea Trinidad and one of Army of the Damned female leads, Jackie Moore.
We figured there was no one better to talk to on the set first than the icon, Tony Todd.

Producer Chad A. Verdi had already assembled a memorable cast for his current project, Army of the Damned, but the man behind Woodhaven Productions refuses to rest on his laurels.
Verdi has now added former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis and the infamous Jasmine St. Claire to the project.
Everyone has a favorite wrestling diva, but it is this writer's opinion that there has never been a more drop-dead gorgeous creature to enter the squared circle than Maria Kanellis. She is absolutely stunning, and as you can see by the still shot from Army of the Damned below, she's got no trouble getting into the action of a bloody horror film.
Kanellis and St. Claire are added to a very interesting cast. Verdi stated, "We have a very eclectic group of actors on this project: horror legends, rock and pop stars, TV and wrestling superstars, Playboy Playmates and the list goes on.

With Michael Berryman, Sully Erna and Nick Principe already in the cast of their upcoming film, you'd think producer Chad Verdi and Woodhaven Productions would rest on their laurels. But that's far from the case as the team has enlisted Tony Todd for their Army of the Damned.
"Tony Todd is a great actor and a horror legend," Verdi said. "He was the last piece of the puzzle that I felt this film needed to be the blockbuster I know it will be."
Todd will join Berryman, Erna and Principe along with entertainer Joey Fatone and former professional wrestlers Tommy Dreamer and Thea Trinidad as well as David Chokachi, Jackie Moore and Tom Paolino in the Army of the Damned cast. The film will be directed by Tom DeNucci and photographed by cinematographer Sam Eilertsen. You can keep updated on the project by 'liking' Army of the Damned on Facebook.

"Keep Away," "I Stand Alone," "Cryin' Like a Bitch"... sounds like a description of Doctor Gash's high school years. Actually these are few kick-ass Godsmack songs, and lead singer Sully Erna has been named to the cast of Woodhaven Pictures' upcoming Army of the Damned.
This will be Erna's feature film acting debut, and he will be joined by a delightfully diverse cast. Producer Chad A. Verdi has also announced that horror legend Michael Berryman, entertainer Joey Fatone, professional wrestlers turned actors Tommy Dreamer and Thea Trinidad, as well as a man who knows a little something about scaring people himself, Nick Principe, have been added to the cast. Jackie Moore and Tom Paolino round out the list of players. The film will be directed by Tom DeNucci and begin filming in April with additional cast members yet to be announced.

E-c-w! E-c-w! E-c-w! Ah, the chant still rings in our ears from the great days of Extreme Championship Wresting. And one of the main players from the early days, Tommy Dreamer, has been added to the cast of Self Storage.
One of the hardest of the hardcore, the one and only Tommy Dreamer recently joined the cast of Woodhaven Production Co.'s Self Storage. Additionally, Tna's lovely Rosita (aka Thea Trinidad) is also on board. With Michael Berryman, Eric Roberts and Jonathan Silverman already involved in the project, this is shaping up to be a really fun sounding cast.
