In 2021, Pointless fans had to come to terms with the fact that change is the only constant in this crazy, crazy world when the show’s co-creator and co-host Richard Osman left to pursue other career opportunities such as being an incredibly successful crime novelist, and taking the main seat on his own game show Richard Osman’s House of Games.
Good for Richard Osman, it all seems to be very going well for him. But for Pointless?
Taking its cue from satirical current affairs show Have I Got News For You?, which settled on a revolving carousel of guest hosts when its regular host Angus Deayton was forced to step down instead of plumping for a permanent chair, Pointless has welcomed a series of co-hosts in the past couple of years.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s first major interview since splitting with the British Royal Family has sparked a hot bidding war in the U.K. for rights to air the highly coveted sit-down.

As of Tuesday evening, a BBC source has confirmed that the public broadcaster is not involved in the process. “The BBC is not involved in a bidding war on this.”

The separation in the British Royal Family will be evident to the world in a tale of two broadcasts hours apart in March.
On March 7, the Queen’s annual Commonwealth message alongside her family members, minus the voluntary estranged Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, will be broadcast on U.K. broadcaster BBC One. Just hours later, a wide-ranging interview with Markle and Harry in a 90-minute Oprah Winfrey special will be broadcast in the U.S. on CBS.
What a difference a year makes. Exactly a year earlier, the Queen, and members of the Royal Family, including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, a.k.a. Harry and Meghan, made a joint public appearance on March 8, Commonwealth Day, before the Sussexes left for North America.
Since then the Sussexes have confirmed that they will no longer be working members of the Royal Family, a decision that has “saddened” Buckingham Palace.

The royal fab four stepped out for a fun date night, and you probably missed it. On Thursday, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle got all dolled up as they attended the Royal Foundation Dinner at Victoria House in London. Unhcr, the Un Refugee Agency, has honoured Dr. Evan Atar Adaha (Dr. Atar), a surgeon from South Sudan, with the 2018 Nansen Refugee Award at a ceremony in Geneva.
Dr. Atar received the award for his outstanding 20-year commitment in providing medical services to people forced to flee conflict and persecution in Sudan and South Sudan, as well as to the communities that welcome them.
Presenting the award in Geneva’s Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, Filippo Grandi, Un High Commissioner for Refugees, said he could think of “three or four reasons” why Dr. Atar was chosen to receive the award.
He said most of his patients were refugees and he had lived through displacement himself, after fighting forced him to close his first hospital in Kurmuk, Sudan. In addition, he embodied “not only solidarity, but courageous solidarity” with his refugee patients, “two commodities that are very scarce in today’s world...
