‘Secret Invasion’ premiered last summer, receiving mixed reactions. Despite criticism for its rushed and nonsensical adaptation of a popular Marvel comic storyline, the show garnered nominations for several smaller awards. Despite the show’s flaws, the cast delivered outstanding performances, leading to Don Cheadle winning the NAACP Image Award for Best Supporting Actor in his role as James Rhodes. Rhodes’ storyline, revealing him as a Skrull, was somewhat predictable, with suspicions arising even before the show’s release.
Additionally, Sherri Shepherd hosted a gala event recognizing talent across 20 categories. Cord Jefferson and Ava DuVernay secured Image Awards for outstanding screenplay and best director respectively. ‘Abbott Elementary’ received two awards, alongside other successful productions such as ‘The Color Purple,’ ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story,’ and ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.’ Notable winners also included Chloe Bailey, Ayo Edebiri, and Keith Powers.
Shepherd was honored with the Outstanding Talk Show Host Award, thanking everyone for her journey.

‘Secret Invasion’ was released last summer and the reactions to it were mixed at best. The show failed to properly adapt a famous comic storyline and was widely criticized for being nonsensical and rushed. Still, this didn’t mean that the show wouldn’t be nominated for plenty of smaller awards. Despite the criticism of the show, the cast remained superb and due to that Don Cheadle in the role of James Rhodes recently won the NAACP Image Award for best supporting actor in the show.
Rhodes was part of a somehow predictable twist that he was a Skrull all along, something that was suspected even before the show was released.

Everything is about to change.
However, if you had to hedge your bet, it will not be in the way Gabi posits by the end of Found Season 1 Episode 12.
There is so much to unpack in a breakneck penultimate installment that will undoubtedly set us up for an unforgettable season finale.
And while I'm a diehard fan of the series and chronic live-tweeter at the official TV Fanatic X account, this is my first foray into waxing poetic about it in the esteemed Denis Kimanthi's stead, so bear with a girl.
"Missing While Eccentric" is quite an hour to delve into as it was nothing short of jampacked.
The hour highlighted some of Found's biggest strengths and weaknesses.
They didn't let up off our necks once during this ambitious installment, but I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that there were pacing issues, and, ideally, this would've worked...

Simon Marco knew what the friends were saying about him before he arrived on the Bravo series, Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard.
Even though girlfriend Bria Fleming told hosts Silas and Jasmine Cooper that Marco planned to join her for a week in the house, she received significant pushback to the point where she questioned if their motives were racially motivated. Fleming got so upset she considered leaving the house.
Previews tease that Fleming stays and Marco arrives on the island. But did he confront the friends for their less-than-welcoming comments before his arrival?

Jordan Emanuel admitted that some of Silas Cooper’s comments he made about her on Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard were hurtful and painted her in an unfavorable light in the house.
Early in the season, Silas targeted Jordan as someone who went out late at night with his wife Jasmine and allowed men to buy them drinks. During dinner, he kept hammering away at Jordan and even Alex Tyree joked about how Jordan was the “toxic” friend.
Despite keeping her cool during Silas’s line of questioning, Jordan admitted that his views and comments were extremely hurtful. She added that Silas also discovered a new side of his wife he hadn’t considered beforehand.

Bria Fleming was full of surprises on Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard. First, she surprised the house when she arrived with her emotional support dog Milo in tow. But they also seemed to be taken off guard when her boyfriend Simon Marco shows up too.
“Who is this man?” Jasmine Cooper asked in the Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard trailer. Cooper was surprised once again, but Fleming insisted they knew he was joining them. “How can I say this … they knew [Simon was arriving],” Fleming dished with Showbiz Cheat Sheet.
And while she was thrilled to have Marco by her side, the Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Season 1 trailer teased that the couple and her friendship with Shanice Henderson could be headed for trouble.

Jasmine Ellis Cooper and her husband Silas Cooper hoped their friends would have made a love connection on Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard.
The only married couple in the house were the nucleus of their friend group and Jasmine and Silas invited their friends – many who met for the first time on the island.

Jasmine knew what she was doing when she brought her friends together for boozy fun in the massive home near Oak Bluffs. “Like 95% of our friends are single. We have so many friends even beyond this group. And so it was a goal for us to really try to have people get to know each other in that way,” she told Showbiz Cheat Sheet.
“They’re all attractive. Let’s just be very blunt about it,” she added. “So I’m really hoping to have some love connections.

Exclusive: Yvette Nicole Brown (Disenchanted), Page Kennedy (The Upshaws), and Cameron Fuller (Zatima) have joined the cast of buddy action-comedy Code 3 opposite Rainn Wilson, Lil Rel Howery, and Aimee Carrero. Production is currently underway.
Brown plays Shanice, an experienced Ems supervisor who is always in control—well, most of the time. She knows Randy (Wilson), someone with who she has a colorful past. Shanice knows he’s burnt out and jaded, but she also knows he’s the best paramedic they’ve got, and she respects him for it.
Kennedy plays Officer Tagert, a police officer who frequently runs into Randy and Mike (Howery) in their ambulance on various calls. Tagert knows the system well and prefers that on any given call, the victim winds up going to the hospital, in which case it’s the paramedics’ paperwork, not his. Tagert doesn’t seem to mind helping them out when he can.

In a series that’s almost entirely composed of outrageously shocking over-the-top monster shenanigans – as it comes from the twisted genius of showrunners like Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement – it’s pretty tough narrowing it down to the most jaw-dropping scenes and situations on display. But since I consider What We Do in the Shadows one of the best horror sitcoms ever made, I decided to step up to the challenge and wade into the carnage.
Alas, the fourth season of clueless vampires, geysers of blood, gloriously filthy dialogue, literally inhuman sex acts, death, dismemberment, and depravity has reached its end. In an attempt to hold off my sadness at having to wait a while for Season 5, I sorted out my favorite moments from the mockumentary show – based on the equally classic feature film – about a group of constantly bickering vampires sharing the same crumbling Staten Island house.

One of the fun things about TV shows is you never know who will pop up as a guest star. And sometimes remarkable guest star roles can even lead to Emmys.
But what happened to the notable black guest stars of yonder? You know, back when there were hit TV shows starring a black cast.
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air gave us Stacey Dash, Tevin Campbell, Nia Long and the couple from The Jeffersons.
The Cosby Show gave us several guest stars including Debbie Allen, Angela Bassett, Naomi Campbell and Stevie Wonder.
A Different World gave us Lena Horne, Tupac Shakur and Kriss Kross.
Family Matters gave us Shanice and Johnny Gill.
And now??? What TV show is giving us black guest stars? I can’t think of one show. Lincoln Heights had the possibility but ABC Family canceled it and unfortunately the show never caught on like the aforementioned programs.

Is "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" returning to late night with Jamie Foxx?
According to Gossip Cop, Jay Leno has slotted in popular actor Jamie Foxx as the first guest when Leno returns to "The Tonight Show" in March.
This keeps up Jay Leno's streak of inviting popular African-American stars to be his first headliner. When he kicked off "The Jay Leno Show" many moons ago in September 2009, Leno welcomed Jay-z, Rihanna and Kanye West as the musical guests.
Back in the day when Leno took over for Johnny Carson as host of "The Tonight Show," he welcomed then-star Shanice (of "I Love Your Smile" fame, if you don't remember).
