I actually really love this. They use forensics as part of solving the crimes, aka Chinese CSI. The only thing I didn't like was the messy triangle relationships that happened in season 2. Season 3 cases were pretty interesting, I really like the main female lead. Season 4 I swear I can’t tell the difference between two of the female leads. They honestly look the same when they pull their hair back. Season 5 was umm interesting with the direction they took with the main lead especially at the end. Some of the side couple coincidences were way too cheesy amd unbelievable. Also - what’s with this show and clowns. They show up every season.
5. Yanxi Palace: Princess Adventures (2019– )

I didn’t like Zhaohua or this mini series at first but by the end I definitely began to appreciate the show and Zhaohua. There are some really good moments and lines. Also Yingluo steals the show whenever she shows up. Gotta love my girl.

This was my first live action of Kindaichi but I loved it. I thought the actors did a great job with Kindaichi and Kenmochi. Watching the cases from the anime come to life was an interesting experience. It definitely left me wanting for more.

This was so fun to watch. This is the epitome of a 爽剧 because Yingluo will always win and I’m here for it. The acting is great as well because I honestly hated the villains so much. Yuan Chunwang can seriously go die I hate him. Also… the deaths hurt. They really really hurt. Empress, Mingyu and Fuheng… each and every one of them.

This was honestly very adorable. I loved that the ML was steadfast in his love the entire time. It didn’t make me enjoy the earlier Li Shu scenes any better but that ended quickly. I’m also super happy that Shan Shan really grew into herself. At the end she really is worthy to stand by his side.

I actually really love the idea of this series. I love that they are an organization of serial killers. I actually ended up rooting for them sometimes and would have loved to see a spin off where she was actually on their side the full time. However I really don’t like the female lead. She acts tough but she’s not and it’s just kind of annoying overall.

This was one of my favourite childhood animes. The adaption was actually pretty accurate to the original so I liked it a lot. I just didn't enjoy the scenes with the female lead. They gave her way too much screentime.
