She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)

They couldn't have made this more ridiculous if they tried. This is a disgrace to the Hulk series. The story-line is terrible, the acting is horrible, etc. Even down to the lawyer theme of the movie, it is as if the writers know nothing about the life of a lawyer. Marvel used to produce some great movies, but have really dropped the ball numerous times recently! The She-Hulk character could have been great, but this is so bad it's extremely difficult to get through. After a few episodes, I found myself fast-forwarding and finally just decided to cut it off. Please, don't even bother with this one.

I love Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow, so was excited about the series. What a disappointment! The story line is weak, predictable and ridiculously unbelievable. Bridges' acting is even horribly bad. Bummer that this wasn't better, as it certainly had potential with heavyweights like Bridges and Lithgow.

The series is good, but disappointing to see the focus on the liability being on Purdue Pharma, which Johnson & Johnson, McKesson, Cardinal Health and AmerisourceBergen were also liable and paid huge amounts in the settlement. Purdue was the fall guy and the focus was placed on them to keep the eye off these other behemoths. There's a lesson here: Don't trust big pharma, as they don't care if their drug kills you, so long as they rake in billions upon billions. Now, apply that to the current day situation. I'll leave it there.

Fallen Angel: Call Sign - Extortion 17 (2021)

The story itself is tragic, but tons of war propaganda. They start the movie showing George W Bush saying that after 9/11 we will hunt down those responsible. They fail to mention it was Saudis who orchestrated 9/11, yet he elected to go after Iraq and Afghanistan.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020)

I loved Cohen's earlier work (Ali G, Borat, Bruno), but this fell way short. The move doesn't have the same feel as his earlier works and I can't say that I laughed a single time during the movie.

If you want to watch the worst movie of 2018, go ahead and watch. As I don't think you can expect much with Dwayne Johnson, I have watched movies that kept my attention that he was in. This was horrible on every level!

While I am a huge fan of Guillermo del Toro's work, this film simply didn't hit the mark. It simply seemed like they were pushing hard to have the "feel" of an old sci-fi flick, with little attention to any progression in the story. I am amazed this film received so many award nods, as it was simply not on that level!
