Why do people love historical Islamic Turkish movies ?
If you want to see loyalty to passions, women, money and hegemony over more lands, Hollywood's movies are yours.
If you want to see people glorify one man as a God and loyalty to the emperor, Go to Japanese and Chinese movies.
If you are impressed by dancing and long boring love stories that are away from the reality, follow Bollywood's movies.

This drama shows the best glory of Muslims and their scarifications. Another Thrill, Another Masterpiece But It's Just A beginning. Love and Respect to the whole Islamic world from Egypt.
The Physician (2013)
As usual, A hollywood's historical travesty and fake history!!!!!!
For what extent will hollywood insult the islamic history?? Why is all this hatred for us as muslims?? If it hadn't been for the muslims' science and knolwedge, the world would have been dark until today. Ibn Sina was a great scholar. The seljuks weren't invaders. The islamic world was overwhelmed with science, morals, light, guidance, and respectful women. Not like hollywood showed. There weren't bitches woman or even oppression. While Europe was dark.
Çanakkale 1915 (2012)
The Optimum movie about Gallipoli war in world war I.
The nearest turkish movie to "Saving Private Ryan".
What is sensational in this movie is the documented wars by day, time, month, names of commanders, constant siege enforced by the allies forces over the ottoman army, how truly the ottoman soldiers survived and fought until the last soul against the invading troops, despite of the weak reinforcements, and of course in the year 1915. A lot of scenes is as close as to realism like "Saving Private Ryan". But, I felt There is something strange in my body when the ottoman soldiers were screaming "Allah Akbar Allah Akbar", somewhat like a shudder and dapomaine realeased in my head. Really, Great. I recommend this movie. I swear I'm not from Turkey, but we have gotta be honest before the history. If you wanna know exactly what occured in Galipoli, this movie is yours.
The 13th Warrior (1999)
The Film's story isn't fully right. Here is the true story of this great scientist (Ahmed Ibn Fadlan).
Ahmed bin Fadlan is a well-known Islamic scholar in Islamic history. He was a writer, geographer, and explorer dating back to the tenth century. He wrote his description of his journey as a member of the Abbasid caliphate embassy
About the Muslim traveler Ahmed bin Fadlan:-
His full name is Ahmad Ibn Al-Abbas Ibn Rashid Ibn Hammad Al-Baghdadi. He was known as Ahmad Ibn Fadlan, born in 877 in Baghdad, and died in 960.
Ahmad Ibn Fadlan gave the oldest description of Russia in 922, and the scholar Ahmad bin Fadlan visited Russia with a message from the Abbasid caliphate. When Ibn Fadlan arrived in Bulgaria in 922, contemporary Tatarstan took this day to celebrate, and made it an official holiday. Ahmed bin Fadlan was not only a talented man or a political statesman, but he was in front of his eyes behind the unique scenes, and was always preoccupied with his mind analysis without monitoring. He worked for a long time about ten years right assistant to the military commander Mohammed bin Suleiman, and learned in this period of him a lot through contact with different peoples, until he reached the Abbasid caliph (Muqtadir Billah) as a jurist in the state and Islamic researcher. The scholar Bin Fadlan continued to be promoted in the court of the Caliph Muqtadir Billah, and at the time of the arrival of a letter from the Bulgarians at the request of an embassy sent by the Caliph to Bulgaria to explain the principles of the Islamic religion there; The lawsuit's journey to Islam, which was supported by Ahmad Ibn Fadlan, moved from Russia, Iraq, Iran, to Central Asia, to Bulgarian countries, to Russian territory, to the Caspian kingdom, and to the Scandinavian peninsula at the North Pole.
The West admitted that this journey made rare cultural discoveries, and the name of Ibn Fadlan existed in bold letters in the history of the arrival between Islam and the modern world. Ibn Fadlan described Russia When he was present in Russia, he gave an accurate description of the land of Russians, and described everything that exists in this country; he described their men, the status of women, the population, the way of life, the burial of the dead, beliefs in God, and other Things that are in Russia. He also talked a lot about building wooden houses in Russia and worshiping idols, Russian merchants' fondness for dinars, silver dirhams, funeral ceremonies, and cremation in boats. Some sayings of Ibn Fadlan about Russia, The most famous of his words (and the jewelers have green beads of porcelain, which is on the vessels exaggerate, and buy bead beaded dirhams, and make jewelry for women). (If they hit a thief, they brought him to a large tree, tightened a tight rope in his neck, hung him in it, and remained suspended until he was cut off by the wind and rain.) He says about their king (the king does not come down from his bed, if he wanted to spend a need, he was doing in a bowl, and has a commander who heads armies and faces enemies, and takes care of the affairs of the people).
The impact of Ahmed bin Fadlan on the general culture:-
The journey of the Islamic scholar Ben Fadlan was the basis of the novel written by Michael Crighton, called the "Eaters of the Dead".
A book was published about the biography of Ahmed Ibn Fadlan called (The Adventures of the Ambassador of the Arabs) by the writer Ahmed bin Salam Al-Bakali, and a Syrian TV series called (Roof of the World) talks about the adventures of Muslim traveler Ahmed Ibn Fadlan without falsification, distortion or fraud.
The movie's makers should have shown a little bit of respect to such a respected scholar.
Direnis Karatay (2018)
Seljuks, they are the great Alp Arslan's descendants
Firstly, The movie was sensational compared to the low budget of 7 million dollars, The battles were supposed to be more realistic but there is no problem if the events will impress the audience.
Secondly, I think this is the first movie in history ever adapted the seljuk period, so it was a superb job to try to show the world that not only the ottomans who defended the islam but also the seljuks and before them the arabs did.
Thirldy, it would be better if a film with a great budget about Alp Arslan was directed before this movie to make the events successive.
Thirdly, this awesome movie also got by some main humane rules as following: Evil can get out of any body and that doesn't have a relation with his religion, and illuminate some misunderstood matters about the islamic religion.
Eventually, take into account more marketing and media as it isn't accepted that a good film like karatay has just 1,106 rates on IMDB, keep going, it's just a matter of time. Turkey has a great islamic history and should raise the budget of its movies to compete with hollywood, USA has no history, although they are making fake heroes like iron man, captin america, thor, benjamin martin, black panther and captin marvel.
Emperor (2012)
A Personal perspective
It doesn't make any sense to unleash Hirohito because his majesty accepted to surrender, he was a criminal as he was like a God in Japan. How can a man be a God meanwhile a bullet can end his life ? How did the biggest supreme commander in Japan not know all orders before being performed. He invaded Singapore and china too. At the same time, the american militarists weren't angels. It's a tragedy, we are speaking about an atomic bomb that killed 220000 innocent people just in seconds. The innocent civilians had no relation to what had happened. They are humans and the innocent people in Pearl Harbor were also innocent. Both the american militarists and the japanese militarists are guilty.
3 Idiots (2009)
One of the best Movies I have ever seen
I watched alot of hollywood, bollywood, turkish, and Asian movies, but two movies is on my head forever. 1. The turkish film " Five minerates in New York ". 2. The indian film " 3 Idiots ".
Hey hollywood, that is how to make tremendous movies to unit and teach the world.
New York'ta Bes Minare (2010)
It's worth watching this movie night and day, Thank you, Director
(3.03) Did they not throw bombs on little children during night raids in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan? What have the world or the United Nations done to stop them? Their only purpose is to enforce blockages on poor countries. They take other people's homes and settle in them. They think they can control the world with their guns. Oh, killers of babies! Have mercy!
(16.28) In the name of allah, our brothers in Palestine ♥ need your help.
(27.36) The american policeofficer David Becker hates Islam. They think anyone who's against them is a terrorist. He really pissed me off.
(43.12) Sir, this is a house of worship (The Mosque / Masjid) you can't get in with your shoes and shout at people while they are praying. Have some respect! There is no room for evil here.
(49.18 ) But, we can't treat all muslims as terrorists.
(59.51) you are taking the wrong man to Turkey.
(1.11.14) Do you know becker? You can't blame the whole muslim community for the actions of few mad men. This is just unfair.
(1.30.36) Jihad is simply an invitation to tread the path of Allah while seeking the truth. When attacked by enemies our prophet peace be upon him defended his life, property and honor. In his 23 years as a prophet, he fought only for two months.
The best turkish film I have ever seen. Splendid story, good production and professional actors.
Darkest Hour (2017)
A historical travesty, but good movie production.
Winston Churchill who was recommended as a hero in the movie is very hated by people out of England because he tried to invade Turkey in World War I in Gallipoli battle. How could he be a hero, although he was an invader. Where are the reasonable men, In 1921, when Churchill was minister in the colony, he declared its power in Mesopotamia, located in the state of Mesopotamia, located in the state of Urkia, Syria and Turkey, and ordered intensive bombing of the area, resulting in the entire village being wiped out in about 45 one minute.
You were no less bloody in Afghanistan. The forces that his forces are multiplying and destroying villages in an unprecedented manner, demolishing houses, exiting wells, blowing up towers, cutting down trees, burning crops, breaking silos, in the worst forms of collective punishment.
Churchill, of course, has not forgotten a participant in forced displacement in Kenya. British forces were practiced under Churchill
1920, he is using bombs and machine guns to disperse them. Bulletin of the Second World War, announced its support for «horrific bombing»
India got the lion's share of Churchill's crimes, broadcasting your voice "an unpleasant people embrace an unpleasant religion", and wanted at first to use chemical weapons against them, saw under pressure from his colleagues in government, but criticized them for that, Indians are unjustified.
Mehmetçik Kut'ül Amare (2018)
It's highly recommended to watch this splendid movie ♥
One of the movies that showed how powerful Muslims are when they united behind one flag and one goal. It is a stunning masterpiece that illuminate how brutal UK was and how they invaded the world. In addition that, It presented the oppression of England and their hegemony over the indian in the arabic countries and how the ottoman defeated them through a siege of almost 4 months. Finally, The great army of England surrendered after killing about 30000 english soldiers in World WarI in 1915. The second season was extremely superb, full of intelligent tricks in war, tough battles and fantastic music. God bless the director who made us see the UK insulted after invading the poor people around the globe.
That is the truth, It's a battle between the falsehood and the right, not between the east and the west.
Payitaht Abdülhamid (2017)
Incredibly stunning masterpiece ♥♥
Anyone who gave this movie less than 6, he is one of two. He has tomatoes in his eyes or he hates the turks regardless of the good production, high quality, mighty ideas and drama, and splendid actors.
Fetih 1453 (2012)
More fantastic than Hollywood's movies
One of the best movies I have ever watched. I watched it 4 times, it changed my view about the ottoman empire to the best.
Kingdom of Heaven (2005)
One of the best movies in HISTORY
I am really proud that I am a descendant of a king like Salah ElDin, he was an hounarable man. Thank you RIDLEY SCOTT for presenting the truth. May God bless you.
Alexander (2004)
The truth of Alexander !!!
Alexander in the movie was fighting for just gold, women, hegemony over more lands, not for freedom and justice. his army had no morals. Shame on them, but the wars in the movie wasn't bad.
World War Z (2013)
Fantastic but hurts the muslims
Good direction, Splendid actors, high quality, mighty ideas, but Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine ♥ our home and our land, not the capital of what is named Israel.
London Has Fallen (2016)
Good but unfair
The movie shows the arabs and Yemen as if they are trrrorists based on a fictional story not real one, so please Yemen is my second country ♥
Dirilis: Ertugrul (2014)
Ertugrul is the boogeyman for the tyrants.
This series shows the truth about the Ottoman Caliphate and reveals the morals of the Islamic religion and how the old Muslims brought the peace and justice to all the oppressed around the world, regardless of their religion, color, or their gender. Really we were deceived by Hollywood films that spoiled the image of the Islam. I am to follow all the historical Turkish series as they are full of morals and great thoughts.
