This series is about the Turkish warrior Ertugrul from the 13th century, one of the most famous warriors of his time and also the father of Osman (the founder of the Ottoman Empire). He is an ambitious man who wants to bring peace and justice to his people. He is in a war with the Crusaders on one side, the Byzantines on another side and the brutally expanding Mongols who killed a lot of Turks on another side. Watched the first episode purely by chance and betcame addicted to it. Even though Turkish isn't a language I can speak and understand, even faintly, the story line is exceptionally well written and easy to follow. The characters, the script, the acting are all superb - Bravo Team Ertugrul! On Netflix only seasons 1 & 2 are currently available, can't wait till season 3!!!! Keep at it guys - you're doing an exception job!!!
