Mauvaises herbes (2018)
Captivating Comedy: Mauvaises Herbes - A Hidden Gem with Heartwarming Characters and Timeless Wisdom
Mauvaises Herbes" is a captivating French comedy that not only showcases the graceful aging of Catherine Deneuve but also excels in superb character building. The film unveils interesting and heartwarming character arcs for most of the cast, with Kheiron delivering a fantastically believable portrayal as a resourceful individual adept at navigating life's challenges. His ability to inspire, protect, and nurture the youth adds a layer of depth to the narrative. This hidden gem is a brilliant choice for family viewing, nearly reaching the esteemed territory of "Le Dîner de Cons (1998)." A truly must-watch, so carve out the time for this heartwarming and inspiring cinematic experience.

Great series if you did adopt this trick of mine
All the reviews are by king fan I think
I loved the series but only after I've figured out the trick
Skip to the next episode when you binge and watch the recap
It's sad but true
Good concept but glad I only skimmed through
Loved the cameo of stephen on S3 ep6 as a dead man
Good luck with you if you are watching all the episodes.
Love stephen as a prolific and reasonable humble and celebrity author though
Acting is ok
Thus with that in mind I've given it 5/10.
Life is too short and sadly this is definitely not worth a 7 nor 8 sadly
How could it have been better? Condense it all into one limited series or like me just watch the recap!
Sisu (2022)
Rambo on horseback, good one for a ride
Saddle up partners, Sisu is one wild mustang of a movie! This rootin' tootin' adventure barrels through enemy lines with guns a-blazin', putting plenty of Nazis in the ground.
Star Jorma Tommila sits tall in the saddle as Aatami, a strong and silent hunter whose deadly aim makes him the hero Finland needs.
The action comes fast and fierce as a stampede, hitting harder than a stallion's kick. Sure, the plot meanders a bit, but the pace never breaks stride. So grab your spurs and strap on your six-shooters, because Sisu is a thrilling ride from start to finish.
It aims to show you a rip-roarin' good time, and this bucking bronco of a film hits its mark.
So if you're hankering for some good old-fashioned shoot 'em up fun, Sisu has got enough ammo and attitude to leave you yelling "Yippee ki-yay!"
Weird also re language's discrepancies.. hence taken off 3 points. Worth some popcorn but not worth watching in cinema.

Must watch! Seoul-Powered Shenanigans: A Kimchi-Spiced Twist on Superheroes
Move over, "Heroes," there's a new super squad in town, and they've got Seoul! This Korean supernatural drama is like a breath of fresh kimchi-flavored air in the superpower genre. It's got the perfect blend of heart, humor, and hair-raising abilities.
Picture this: a gang of characters with powers so cool, even your air conditioner would be jealous. Yet, they're not soaring around in spandex capes; they're just folks trying to keep their powers on the down-low, like secret ingredients in a spicy stew. The character development is so spot-on that you'll find yourself believing in supernatural abilities quicker than you can say "kimchi fried rice."
And the fighting scenes? Well, let's just say they're more electrifying than a K-pop dance-off. But it's not all about the flashy moves. The characters' quirks and camaraderie add a sprinkle of relatability to the mix. You'll be cheering for them as they dodge nosy neighbors while juggling mind-bending powers.
In a world where superhero shows can sometimes feel as crowded as a subway during rush hour, this drama carves its own unique path. So, if you're tired of clichés and craving a superpower series with Seoul, give this one a watch. It's like a spicy kimchi pancake for your TV cravings, and it leaves "Heroes" looking as outdated as last year's fashion trends.
Green lit the second series already!

Sumo is a Japanese institution, brilliant show so far
You simply cannot miss this gem of a show!
It's raw, gritty and a personal story that'll keep you glued to your screen. While it would've been amazing to see the 'foreigner's perspective', I'm hopeful that Netflix will greenlight seasons 2 and 3, so we can delve into more personal stories from both the US and Mongolia's perspective at the Yokozuna level. Yes even as foreigners they get the girls!
It's not just an entertaining watch, but hope future series will also sheds light on the business side of Sumo. How normal fans watch and how social media, along with the newer generation of fans, may threaten the future of this sport.
No spoilers here, but trust me, it's a fantastic study of the human condition, the hero's journey, and character arc that we usually find in great films and series, with a touch of comedy thrown in for good measure. In short, I highly recommend it!
