Not accurate to the books but good on its own
12 August 2017 | by biaritySee all my reviews

Although there are many (arguably major) discrepancies between the book's plot and the TV show's, the show is still pretty great on its own.

I'd even argue it might be better than the book, especially that fillers are now at a minimum.

The pacing is perfect, and in my opinion the casting was spot on. Also one of the few shows that does character development right.

Some of the tech stuff is a bit of a stretch ("It's a Unix system!") but so far nothing unbearable for programmers.

Overall, definitely worth the watch.
