Ugly cried for 10 mins after this show ended. It's gut wrenching and beautiful and really well made. The fact that it's a true story is what I couldn't handle. Won't ever watch it again- it's been years since something on my TV made me bawl like this.

It's well written, excellently paced and beautifully executed. I've watched a few Asian dramas so far and this one is as close to perfect as it gets. The acting is amazing, the story is gripping and the characters are very relatable and understandable.

Bad Casting, Excellent story

Original story which allows for a perfect mix of some costume scenes. The scenes are light but sometimes cringy. The romance is written really well, characters are a little too perfect but that's classic Chinese drama. The biggest downfall has to be the horrible casting. There is no chemistry between the leads and the female lead has a range of a handful of emotions. I recommend you watch the movie first to get a better appreciation of the story like I did, had to finish all 30 epis because of that.

Amazing storytelling with actors and a plot you likely won't get out of your mind for weeks.
I stumbled upon this on Netflix- I usually detest dramas, my go to genres are thrillers, mystery, crime etc... and I had no knowledge of this world of Asian drama. I'm so glad I clicked play.
I binged this and immediately got sucked into others like- Ashes of Love etc.
If you're on the fence, just try one epi. It's so so good.

I wish I didn't pollute my brain and my love for this world with this garbage of a movie. It completely butchered the story from the eternal love series.
I understand that this is "their take" on the story, but if I had watched this movie without seeing eternal love I would've rated it as 0/10
- It was a horrible decision today start the story where they did. Too much back story omitted
- too many changes to the original plot

GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! Went to see it twice since it released and I'll probably go see it again. I was completely immersed in this story and the character. It's easily one of the best movies ever made and some of the best acting ever done. My friends and I couldn't stop speaking about it after seeing it.

The writing and acting in this show is as gripping as it can get. That being said, the last episode was so awful that I'm actually happy this is the end and it wasn't dragged out.
Claire has always been my favorite and before watching, I was sure she'd be able to carry the season but truthfully Frank was terribly missed.
Season 1-5 gets 10 in my opinion. Season 6 gets 3

Just finished watching this for the 4th time. Everytime I get so caught up that at the credits I'm marveled that it ended so soon and I'm left wanting more. The themes are so compelling, with an amazing cast and even better soundtrack. It's honestly more than a movie, it's an experience.
