Not exactly loyal to the canon but it is an awesome series nonetheless. Can't wait for season 2!!!

Why is this rated so low? This is an absolute masterpiece! Visually, mentally and emotionally appealing. Watch it!

Cancel this. We don't need it.

This show just tries too hard. It's tiring to even use it as background noise. Trying too hard to cover up the white guilt, too hard on adding references on the script, and too hard on trying to be a decent show. Well, not!

Warning: Spoilers
A great show filmed so well, I watched it all in one sitting. With the exception of the worst episode is the season - UK! I can't believe a great Asian chef was eliminated because of plating (raised eyebrows). Almost got me thinking this was rigged. But overall, if you change the host, this would be rated higher.

Not funny at all. It's an effort to watch. Got me confused about what the show is really all about.

Rich, captivating and enthralling. I just finished the entire show... I am at a loss for words for the beauty and cruelty of it all. Bravo!

It's amazing and heartfelt!

This is a masterpiece in its own. A masterchef-chef wars-cooking show with a heart. I enjoy Yukihira's adventures while learning how to cook in different ways. It is light and fun and easy to follow.

I really tried!

The movie could have been completed even without Storm Reid -- and the too many close ups that come along with her exposure. McCabe could have carried the story all by himself. Props to Reese and Mindy for adding life and light to the film, but other than that, it was too slow-moving and boring. I tried watching despite the negative reviews and I gave up half an hour into it.

A blooming gem of a show!

Once you start understanding that the show's format is different from your usual family drama/comedy, you will learn to appreciate it so well. The show's intention is not to force laughtee or incite tragedy, it just simply tells a story in its own unique way! All the actors complement each other and I especially like Paulina's robotic chatter when she gets upset. This, to me, is something to binge. I can't wait for the next season!

Everybody's great except Quinn!

Love the show. I can't seem to stop watching it. A great story although there are some slow-moving moments. I think everyone works well with roles given to them except Quinn. I almost stopped watching the show because of his ridiculous acting!
