Breaking Bad (2008–2013)
10/10
Deserves the prize for best TV show
25 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Breaking Bad had always been in my watchlist. It aired in a time when watching TV shows was not my predilection in my spare time. However, it got my attention when it's popularity was at its peak. I understand now why it is considered the best drama TV series. The show has everything in the right place: gorgeous landscape shots, extenuating filming points of view, great soundtrack, excellent writing and splendid actors. The idea behind all of it is very well thought and the execution is magnificent. It is a story that shows that the line between what is good or bad is not very clear sometimes. Sometimes the ending justifies the means. Sometimes it does not. Differently from most shows, the main character is not the hero but the ultimate villain of everyone in that environment. The actors were flawless. Thank you for this show. I have no words left to describe how overwhelmed I feel.

Sharp Objects (2018)

Disturbing as it can be
9 April 2020
The way the story is told in Sharp Objects truly sureprised me. The montage of image and sound in each scene is so mysterious and uncomfortable but at the same time so captivating and fascianting. A true masterpiece for those of love to pay attention to those little details in storytelling. This show reflects on how your childhood and experiences impact your future personality and the way you deal with responsibilities. Sometimes returning to your hometwon is not the wisest decision. Mothers are crucial for the development of your character and should be there to exorcise your demons, not creating them. Amy Addams, Eliza Scanlen and Patricia Clarkson are the heart of this series. Their persformance is exquisite and delicate.

Not Westworld
22 March 2020
This is not Westworld anymore. I mean, the show is stil very good, captivating and interesting, but it is a show about a different idea. Seems that the initial premise of the show changed.

The calm before the storm
27 April 2019
Solid episode! Way better than the first. Everyone is trying to cope with the idea of their last day alive. The dialogues were more interesting in this episode and the build-up to the revelation of the final scene is profoundly well contructed. Hope the next episode cracks everything off!

Game of Thrones: Winterfell (2019)
Season 8, Episode 1

Not the best but a convincing start
16 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The show is ending so everyone is gathering. Game of thrones has reached now a phase of pay-off. It is perfectly normal that it does not surprise us as before. Another issue is that the show has become quite predictable. Regarding the episode, in my opinion it gave too much attention and importance to reunions. Everyone knew they would happen eventually and the expectations were high. However the audience cannot be satisfied with scenes too short that do not match the expectations. The time could have been better used to explore some reunions deeper than others that are not of much importance. The editing of scenes was not as good as Game of Thrones used to show. Basically we learnt little from this episode. Anyone that skips this episode does not get lost in the story. I understand that this kind of episodes are important and needed but we cannot forget that there are only 5 episodes left that are not much longer than Game of Thrones standard episode time. We will see what happens next. Hope it gets better until the end of the show.

The Office (2005–2013)

Awkwardness at its best
10 March 2019
This show is not for everyone. It is a specif kind of humour based on awkwardness, weirdness, idiocy and silliness. Some may find it too stupid to handle. Some may may flatter and consider it a masterpiece. However no one stays indifferent. This is not a regular office yet the characters reflect real people. It is a satire to formal conventions and relationships. It makes me laugh at almost every single moment. Thanks for this original idea!

Roma (2018)

Powerful
6 March 2019
Difficult lives in rough times. Roma is a powerful, quiet movie that depicts the hard conditions of a family's maid. There's pain, sadness, tranquility and most important kindness and love. Without a fancy soundtrack and even colour, this movie takes us on a ride of simplicity. Thank you, Alfonso Cuarón!

Boring
24 February 2019
I was recommended this movie because of its mistery, enigma and suspense. And this has all of these features. However it is stained with bad acting, bad special effects (which is not quite important for the story), bad passing and bad storytelling. I could go on stating "bads" but they would never be finished. Entertaining for the first half hour but then becomes boring has hell...

Searching (III) (2018)

Brilliantly thought
25 October 2018
A modern mystery film that catches your attention from the first to the very last minute of the story. Loaded with a bunch of plot twists that make you glue your eyes to the screen to find out what happens next. The only downside for me is the way the story is depicted through cellphones and laptop screens. It was a disappointing surprise and not original since films like "Unfriended" used this approach to tell the story. It is without any doubt one of the best mystery films of the year

The Walking Dead: A New Beginning (2018)

A good restart
9 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This episode clearly shows a shift in the story. Some time passed, some characters are different. But there are too many plots to follow making it to maintain focus throughout the episode. It's a shame that everyone knows what is going to happen in this season, especially regarding Andrew Lincoln leaving the show. Overall, it was a solid and entertaining episode showing that there is potential to go back to the good times. The new intro is not quite good because it breaks the sense of continuity between seasons.

Disappointing
6 October 2018
I always had high expectations about this film. Everyone always that me it was an awesome and funny way to approach the ghost theme. All in all the word that comes to my mouth is disappointment. It turns out to be a boring story that made me fell asleep. It gets one star for the logo, one star for the song and one star for some funny moments.
