Rangasthalam (2018)

Not as great as it is reviewed by others

They ruined the beautiful song Yentha Sakkagunnave by filming only half of it!! Why? In a 3 hour movie, half of this song is ridiculous. Even the Rangamma song is repeated with the same video clips again and again - so boring. There are better videos of this song performed and danced by others on YouTube LOL. His brother getting killed is shot like a video game with bad camera work and direction.

Direction is choppy and looks like a patch work - Sukumar is just hype. Movie itself is not suited to these modern times. What's the point of making a movie whose story is based in the 80s?

The only reality in this is they show poverty at its worst - like the hero living outside the hospital, cooking, washing, and some village streets and dwellings.

Justice League (2017)

If you just want to watch a VIDEO GAME, go watch Justice League :(

However, if you want to watch the BEST MOVIES OF THE YEAR, go watch WONDER WOMAN or THOR RAGNAROK.

Is this movie Justice League - a JOKE? Sometimes, facts are upside-down in this real world. The theater was full house with adults and kids. The whole movie was a disaster - graphics after graphics, CGI after CGI - nothing, nothing, nothing was realistic or even looked like a movie. There was no "SCALE" in the movie - just a handful of superheroes - that's all - no other people. It looked worse than a video game with the WORST graphics and CGI. I was annoyed eagerly waiting for the silly movie to end so I could go and do better things - like digging holes in the ground and then cover them up again!

After the movie was over, I was shocked to see people clapping and cheering and NO ONE was getting up from of their seats to get out. I was stuck in the middle and waited for about 5 minutes into the ending titles and to the end of credits but still, NO ONE was getting up from their seats! @#$%^&^*( And this is just an IMAX 2D movie. Is it because of Ben Afleck or the Superman role? Or is it the comic-book fanboys and fangirls? Obviously, they have never watched great movies. It is beyond me how such a disastrous movie could get 7/10 rating. I would give it a 0 if possible. 2+ hours of my life wasted I can never get it back.

That applause did not happen for Wonder Woman or Thor Ragnarok which are some of the BEST MOVIES of 2017 with the best CGI and 3D. What's worse? Thor IMAX 3D was running with a limited number of shows - just 2 shows a day instead of more than 5 shows.

La La Land (2016)

Awful, over-hyped and disappointing

I don't get it. Some movies get really, really lucky and fortunate to get the high and rave reviews and also Oscars. I'm a musician and I couldn't stand this movie - it's only noise at the best - not much music in it.

This movie is OVER-HYPED by their marketing department to make more money. Stay away from this unless you want to waste a couple of your hours that you will NEVER get back!

Life (I) (2017)

Plain boring and naive!!

Don't get fooled by the reviews. There is nothing new in this move that was not told in the Hollywood in hundreds of alien movies in the past. The movie is stupid and silly at the best. The creature that is hardly 4 foot long and does not even multiply/span itself and the crew is afraid it would wipe out the mankind if it reaches the Earth!! How dumb is that??

People who voted 8 or 9 out of 10 haven't watched better movies in their lives. There are better movies made in the 90's and 2000's.

Commando 2 (2017)

Clearly predictable and not as good as Commando 1

Others might have reviewed this movie as oh-so-cool, Hollywood-ish, lots-of- TWISTS, etc but this movie doesn't live up to the standards of Commando 1 by the same hero - Vidyut. Well, there are NO TWISTS - the entire movie is CLEARLY PREDICTABLE - start to finish - and looks naive from audience point of view.

Vidyut is a great stunt actor and can be called the "Jackie Chan of India" but the director failed to leave any impression with the story or screenplay. The Jackie- Chan/Tony-Jha style flipping-over-automobiles, sliding-under-tucks, jumping- through-tiny-windows, running and chasing through the city is average at best and you won't get impressed. What is sad is that there are way too many DEADLY stunts in this movie (in Bangkok and Malaysia) compared to Commando 1 but they fail to impress as much as Commando 1 stunts did. Hero dodging hundreds of bullets from dozens of goons is exaggerated while another police officer simply DIES from a bullet to his SHOULDER!!! Seriously?? How can anyone die from a bullet wound to a shoulder???? I'm sure any other director with the same action scenes would have left a lasting and memorable impression - higher than Commando 1. Don't miss the old Commando 1 and watch it from the START and see all the beautiful and magnificent Camera work!!

Some viewers commented this movie has lots of twists - that's too naive and obviously they haven't watched any great movies. It is called a twist when one character fools another character in the movie but not when the characters fool the AUDIENCE all through the movie to reveal the facts at the end!! That's as dumb as 1960's story-writing. If you consider these tricks as twists, you need help :)

Some hilarious comedy in the form of heroine speaking Telugu and broken English is refreshing but again things are stretched too far.

The Great Wall (I) (2016)

Great but LOUD!!!

The scale and budget on which this movie was filmed are EPIC and MONUMENTAL!!

This movie is awesome and great but too LOUD than is necessary. If every shot is too loud then when it comes time for sound effects, the effect gets buried because the whole movie is loud. The sound level in this movie is similar to Deep Water Horizon - another LOUD movie.

3D effects are a treat to watch in IMAX. Horse chases are not bad. However, the graphics are a bit poor and unpleasant for the movie's scale and budget. They do not add up.

If you ignore the loud volume and poor graphics, you would love to watch this movie at least TWICE. It's worth it. Go watch it - you'll love it.

I wanted to give it 9 stars but giving it 8 because substandard graphics.

Doctor Strange (2016)

The graphics in this movie are not great because they are Kaleidoscopic graphics.

All the graphic artist has to do is just paint just 1 quarter of the graphics and the other 3 quarters are Kaleidoscopic !! That's how much they suck.

Arrival (II) (2016)

Effing BOOOOOORINGGGG!!!

How can anyone rate this movie as 8.5 out of 10 unless they are out of their mind??

This movie is EFFING BORING right from the first frame to the last frame and everything in between.

Some movies get really, really lucky to get this kind of rating even though they suck like hell.

An action movie should start with a bang and end with a bang but this one has none of those.

I can't believe Dennis of Sicario fame directed this movie. Maybe he should just stay away from alien movies.

OI wasted 2 hours of my time that I can never get back.

Stay away from this movie unless you want to kick yourself after watching it for wasting your time.

Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016)

Never liked Tim Burton's movies but this is a visual treat!!

Forget about the story - watch the technology how far it came. This is the 2nd movie in the "Best visual effects movie of the year" list - Kung Fun Panda 3 being the other one. The graphics are simply beautiful, amazing and stunning. You won't regret it - worth watching twice.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)

Graphic overkill by Zack Snyder!!

I loved Zack Snyder's Legend of the Guardians and the BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING GRAPHICS in it. But BM vs SM, he went overboard with the graphics. Compare these graphics with the ones in KUNG FU PANDA 3 - which is a cool example of how far the technology has come. BM vs SM - not close.

They should have toned down on graphics a bit. When graphics keep popping again and again, you lose their effect and significance.

Instead, he should have teamed with another director and complemented his skills for a complete movie. Acting by Ben Affleck was perfect compared to Christian Bale.

The Revenant (I) (2015)

ZERO STAR - Stay away from this movie

I cannot believe this move got awards. It is from 18th century and in the middle of NOWHERE - in the snow mountains with horses.

There is no chemistry or any attempt to do character-building, bonding between father and son and the whole story makes NO sense. Except for the bear attack (with poor graphics), there is nothing really worth mentioning in this movie.

If you want to watch it, be prepared for raw some content - eating raw meat, animals, fish and swimming in snow water and WET throughout. Also one person biting off another's ear and spitting out it.

I watched this by mistake. I wasn't paying attention and thought it was Allegiant that is not released yet. So I ended up wasting 2.6 hours of my life that I can never get back.

Dilwale (2015)

Utterly STUPID, CHEAP and ANNOYING movie

I'm totally disgusted with this movie, the story, screenplay, action, direction, music and what not. SRK and Kajol look very STALE, fail to act and emote, should retire and make room for freshers who can. I can't understand how people flock to theaters just to watch their favorite actors.

Story is so stupid and makes us chuckle at times. The Ram Lal Dhobi twist is so disgusting and annoying. SUDDEN down pour of HEAVY, artificial rain in one scene makes us chuckle saying, "Holy crap" to ourselves. Flashbacks are done by a seemingly inexperienced director.

Music is dumb and loud. We forget it the moment we walk out of the theater.

There is no chemistry or character-building and when actors weep, it does not have any effect on us and it is even ANNOYING.

Its a shame our standards have fallen to this low level. Avoid this one at all costs. Go watch Star Wars instead and you will be glad you skipped it.

Everest (2015)

Most boring movie of 2015 - pointless, useless, waste of time and money

This movie is cast with a bunch of old guys with "long beards and long mustaches" for no reason who look GROSS with snow stuck in their beards and mustaches. One can say beards and mustaches help keep one warm but when they are soaked with snow in their beards and mustaches, it is not warm, is it? They are too old to even walk or climb or even act - leave alone rescue others in peril. There is absolutely no story in this movie whatsoever, no action, no nothing. Why did they even make such a movie? Finally they show a dead climber's wife giving birth to a child. Who cares? It that it?? Stay away!!!

Watch "Vertical Limit" movie instead - it has a story, a strategy, a problem and a solution.

Bombay Velvet (2015)

One of the CRAPPIEST and MOST BORING movies I watched!!

I can't believe this was directed by Anurag Kashyap. The entire movie is just plain boring and nobody seem to be emoting or acting including KK Menon. Anushka Sharma is wasted in a role with sucking music and songs.

If you want to watch a movie well made portraying olden days, go watch "Detective Byomkesh Bakshi" instead - it is amazing.

Stay away from this movie if you want to save frustration and annoyance. Unless you are sleep deprived and want to catch a nap, this will give you a good nap. You will keep asking yourself, when it will be over.

One of the crappiest movies I've ever watched. Over 2 hours wasted that I can never get back. I can't believe people are rating this movie with 10 stars. Such people never watched great art movies in their lives.

Ex Machina (2014)

Only 2 actors - BORING, DUMB - STAY AWAY

Guys, guys, guys!! Please, please, please - when you write a review on a movie, please be honest by all means. Otherwise, people who rely on your reviews end up watching BORING, DUMB and CHEAP movies like this. This whole movie runs on just 2 guys (1 employer and 1 employee) and of course 2 robot girls who do nothing but are confined to a room - and all of them confined to a so-called research center in the middle of NOWHERE, in the middle of mountains where there is NO cellular network!! Come on guys, even TV serials like Everybody Loves Raymond have more people and places than this movie. Would you watch a movie that has only 2 guys? Why rate this movie as 8, 9, and 10?? They can't even write a story - the movie starts with the employee texting someone and those texts are skipped so quickly you can't even read them. Next thing you know (IN LESS THAN 15 SECONDS), we see a helicopter dropping him off near a mountain from where he walks less than 10 steps and finds a door to what seems like a fence! It has a facial recognition equipment and it reads his face, prints out his ID card (!!!!) so he can enter the door. LOL - there is only one other guy inside and this guy and there are no other people joining them and this needs an ID card printing machine outside the door???? How realistic is that?? The guy is apparently hired to test a robot girl for its AI. We all know that it just a HUMAN GIRL made up and applied with some CGI in parts to look like a robot - her face looking very much like any other girl. Just the arms and abdomen are made transparent with wires, tubes showing through. The other robot girl is meant to sleep with the employer and DOES NOT talk at all!!!! Is that it??? LOL. Actually, the Robot is tested using the guy to see if the robot would fall in love with him (LOL) and escape from the place for love like a human!! The sessions between this employee and the robot girl are so BORING that you would fall asleep. Yes, finally the girl escapes (abandoning the guy in the lab - FLAWED AI ???) and shown walking in a downtown in the form of a shadow - NO PEOPLE SHOWN AGAIN!!! while the guy is locked in the research center and most probably dead from starvation. Employer is dead already. Is that it?????? The employer guy is always shown as DRINKING alcohol with a heavy BEARD and NO HAIR on the head - disgusting like an ADDICT (just watch the trailers) and does not look anything like the owner of the LARGEST SEARCH ENGINE IN THE WORLD and a TOP-NOTCH PROGRAMMER who could create robots with AI and run a research center in the mountains with just himself. In fact, he is NEVER shown coding anything on the computer or creating robots. If drinking alcohol can create robots with AI, there would be more alcoholics in this world than programmers!!!! They could not even show him coding?? LOL - what a screenplay!! Just because the producers have money, they think they could dish out any CRAP and expect us to spend our money and time on it - when they cannot even write a story? Well, money doesn't get you brains, does it??? They don't even have money to hire more actors to show more people. Out and outl, this is a CHEAPLY made, DUMBEST, low-budget movie with NO story and NOTHING in it. That's it!! I lost 2 hours of my life that I can NEVER get back. Another movie that was overrated last year was CALVARY - it is so religious you get BORED. Another dumb movie of this year was KINGSMAN - it is so OLD FASHIONED - why would anyone want to watch a movie that is so 60's looking in story, dialogs, people, costumes, picturization??? Those BOND movies are suited to those times - not these modern times. Even Bond movies are much better than Kingsman. If there was 0 rating, I would give them 0. If there was -10, I would give them -10. All the reviews by other agencies, studios, etc in this movie's trailer are just over-rated HYPE because they know there is NOTHING in this movie - they know it - and now they are laughing their way to their BANK with our money!!! As long as there are DUMB reviewers who rate such DUMB movies as 8, 9 and 10 stars, these producers will reap money out of our pockets. Do not be afraid to rate movies HONESTLY. Do yourself a favor - stay away from this movie, save your money, time, disgust and frustration. THIS MOVIE SUCKS!!! What did you folks review it as? Intriguing?? Tense??? Great CGI???? LOL - those who reviewed with the above words probably never watched a movie in their lives. The only CGI in this movie is the abdomen and arms that are made transparent on the robot girl which is NOT great at all. How is that great CGI?? Please be honest and do not mislead others.

Broken Horses (2015)

Boring, Boring, Boring, Dark, Dark, Dark

Stay away from this movie - it is slam dunk boring - from start to finish!! This is a joke out of "PARINDA" movie which was made in India over 25 years ago and obviously Vidoo Vinod Chopra has turned senile in those years that he cannot even think straight anymore.

OMG! Is that how a movie should start? ZZzzzz!!! They should watch "CHILDS PLAY" movie to learn how a movie should start!!

There are only about half a dozen men and a woman throughout this movie and the camera focuses mainly on 3 people.

The whole entire movie is DARK, DARK, BORING, BORING and in some shots you see NOTHING but just a completely DARK screen - all of the movie was shot in the evenings and nights for no reason and even when they show a couple of shots in broad day light for just a few seconds, there is NO light or Sun on actors faces!! Do they call this an art movie cinematography? Maybe the director turned sensitive to Sun light? This is so dumb and annoying. How about learning some techniques before making a movie? Watch Disney, Pixar movies or RANGO or HAPPY ENDING (Saif Ali Khan filmed in the USA with stunning cinematography) - they are all bright, bright.

The entire movie is shot in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE in some unknown hills and mountains - no people, no nothing but just these 6 people who still wear suits, ties, boots, cow boy hats, guns, etc - they could even wander NAKED in those hills and NO one would notice them (LOL) - even Wyoming has more people than these locations.

They build a ranch with a white stallion horse in the middle of mountains and nowhere which is also shown only in the evenings and nights for no reason - no one wants to live there even if it is given for FREE!!

No offense intended but the 4 main characters in this movie are NO MATCH for Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in the original PARINDA. These actors in Broken Horses are unknown faces and hence the movie seems like a very low budget one. This movie is not a fit even as a 30-minute TV clip. Even low budget TV serials such as Law and Order have more actors, locations, light and better picturization. Each and every scene in this movie is a joke out of PARINDA.

If there was a 0, I would give it 0 stars. If there was -10 stars, I would give it -10 stars. That says it all.
