Runners (1983)
A powerful emotional journey.
The power of this movie lies in the characters and the emotional roller coaster that ensues.
The acting, screenplay and direction are exceptional and the psychology here is very realistic and moving, especially between father and daughter.
This movie is a gem, and a journey which is not to be missed.
10/10.
Killing Eve: Hello, Losers (2022)
They should haved stopped at season 3.
Season three left on a high note, and could have been left for fans of the series (like me) to formulate a conclusive ending.
Season 4 is a disaster and a mess, I wish they hadn't done this.

Here is my own ending:
------------------------------
A Stealth military/medical helicopter hovers above the Thames.
Two rescue rafts with hoist are dropped.
Four SAS divers in the Thames put Eve and Villanelle into rafts and hoisted to helicopter.
Eve and Villanelle are given emergency surgery.
...
E and V wake up in a large bed to the sound of Claire de Lune being played on a Steinway grand piano.
The pianist (who is the international concert pianist Khatia Buniatishvili) looks over to E and V and says Carolyn wishes you good health and welcome to Batumi, Georgia.

Taxi Driver (1976)
I forgot that I was in a cinema.
I saw this movie when it was released and I was 20.
You become Travis Bickle in the nightmare world of the glaring lights of New York's lonely hell of dark streets that lead you to nowhere like a bad dream that never ends...
This is a Scorsese masterpiece, it does what movies are supposed to do.
YOU are driving the taxi, thinking what he thinks, feeling what he feels.
This is a ride you won't forget.
10/10 for Direction, acting, screenplay, music...
You talkin' to me ?
I'm talking to YOU.
Watch it !
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
something wonderful
Rarely, something wonderful happens in the cinema, it happened to me in 1968, when I was 12 years old and went to see 2001: A Space Odyssey.
My Mother worked at the cinema, so I had free tickets to use every day at that cinema.
I was taken on 'The Ultimate Trip', I absolutely needed to see this movie again, and I did.
Two showings every day, from Monday to Friday I spent the whole day in the cinema watching the two showings of 2001.
Mr Kubrick, Mr Clarke, it worked for me (and still does) ! Many thanks !
