Reviews
Super Mario Bros. (1993)
Great movie. Needs a sequel!
I loved this movie as a kid and still do at 31.
I would love to see a sequel with the original cast of course.
Not sure why so many bad reviews.
Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009)
Rise of the Lycans 2 Sequel?
This is a great movie but I think another prequel should be made, a sequel to Rise of the Lycans. Based on where the movie left off and how Viktor met Selene.
The Underworld sequels after evolution were very disappointing. They didnt feel anything like the first two movies or the prequel.
I do not know why movie companies ruin movies this way by not keeping the same theme and vibe.
When people think vampire movies or want vampire films they want them to be less modern, more medieval, dark, gothic and gloomy.
Bring back Michael Sheen as Lucious, he is the best actor with a fully developed character.
People do not like new actors and characters. They like the original actors, characters, theme, story line, and complex characters.
Pretty Baby (1978)
Brooke Sheilds best movie
They don't make great movies like this anymore. This movie is not for conservatives. It has a great plot ans terrific acting.
Movie has been criticized for the underage nudity and sexual content. However, its a great movie and these types of relationships happened very common in the old days if you watch enough movies to understand.
Young girl is forced to grow up in a hostel or prostitute house. She falls in love with an older man like the movie Lolita.
The Blue Lagoon (1980)
Great movie 2nd best Brooke Sheilds movie
The movie is really sweet. Bad reviews are from small minded conservatives because of the nudity, incest, and underage brooke shields.
The movie is about 2 young children grow up on an island they were stranded on. They have no one to teach them. So they end up ignorant and immature. They do not understand their feelings or whats happening to their bodies.
Free State of Jones (2016)
A piece of untold history
This movie wasn't bad. A little too fast paced. The movie didn't spend enough time Showing the "free state of jones" period/ town.
The part with the wife leaving and coming back didn't make sense.
I like the fact that its a part of untold history.
The movie could have been better but also a lot worse. I enjoyed it if you like to learn about history.
The black history in the film is significant.
I was surprised about this untold history like it was a secret. For example, the fact that slavery didn't end right away and the confederates tried to make laws to keep slavery going as "apprentices"
Ghostbusters (2016)
Sequel wouldve been better than a reboot
The movie was okay. It was what I expected and feared. The movie clearly a complete reboot with different story lines and characters.
The original cast made brief 5 second cameos throughout the film which ruined the movie for me.
Everyone wanted the original cast as the main characters or be casted as their original characters with more screen time.
It would have been better if the women were like daughters of the original ghostbusters or at least be mentored by the original ghostbusters cast.
The movie wasn't so terrible as its own movie despite plot holes like ray guns at the end all of a sudden kill ghost.
I thought the graphics were great, not sure why people are bashing the graphics. If they just made a sequel instead of a reboot, the movie would have been much better with the original cast
Lolita (1962)
Lame. Censored. Boring.
This movie at the time had too many restrictions on sexuality in movies. There us no nudity in this movie at all. There is no sexuality being shown in the movie. What a waste of a good premise for a story. Nothing steamy about this movie. Better off watching Leon The Professional or Pretty Baby.
It is beyond me how this movie even got a rated R for this film. More like PG-13 at best.
The story line at the end makes no sense.
They should have added colour to the movie as well so the viewer wont be so bored. I do not recommend this movie at all.Honeztly the movie was just very boring and poorly done.
Skeleton Lake (2012)
Awesome! Hugh Lambe Rocks!
This movie was totally awesome. What is more awesome is that Hugh Lambe is a college professor in real life. This guy is my professor and he never told us he was an actor, he teaches business, he has a few degrees. When I looked him up and saw this it blew my mind! I watched the movie and needless to say it was blew my mind seeing my teacher as "the hunter" in this movie. The movie is like a twist on an evil Rambo that lives in the woods. The movie has great special effects and great directing. Its full of twists and turns, jam packed with action and gore. I can't wait to see the sequel when it comes out with Hugh Lambe starring in it. We need more movies with Hugh Lambe in it.
