The Last Vampire on Earth (2010)
Horrible Don't Bother
This is a horrible movie, the only reason I saw this movie was because it was on a $5 DVD with 8 horror movies on it. The film is about a female student named Chloe befriending a vampire named Aurelius. The pace of the film is very slow, there isn't much of a story or plot to the film at all. The first half of the movie is Chloe and Aurelius just casually talking back and forth like a couple of shy teenagers getting to know each other. Their conversations seem pointless and boring, it makes the hour and twenty minute movie seem like it will never end. We don't find out Aurelius is a vampire until the second half of the movie, then their pointless conversation turn to even more boring ones about him being a vampire.
The only stereotypical vampire traits Aurelius follows is that he drinks blood, which he buys from a traveling blood bank. He doesn't bite or kill anyone and he walks around during the daylight like everyone else.
There is no story and no plot to this film at all unless you like watching two teens have unmindful conversations about nothing I wouldn't waste your time watching this.
[Rec] (2007)
Don't watch this before bed !!!
35,000 reviews and now I know why it got 7.7 out of 10 and almost 300 user reviews.
Thanks to my brothers I've seen more horror movies than I'd care too see and I thought I was pretty immune to the scary and gore...Until I saw this movie. I watched this before bed, alone, and now I'm forcing my dog to stay close and I don't want to go to sleep. I think I'll try and watch some happy Disney movie or something before I try to go to sleep.
I never want to see this movie again but I'm going to try and force my brothers to watch it for a little payback :). DON'T WATCH THIS BEFORE BED or at night for that matter!!!
Get Him to the Greek (2010)
I thought this move would be stupid but it was actually very good.
I'm not a fan of either Jonah Hill or Russell Brand and thought this movie looked stupid and wasn't worth watching, I really did not want to see it at all.
My friends were telling me this movie was very good and I should see it, so I gave it a chance. They were right, It was surprisingly very funny and entertaining. I laughed through the whole movie until the end.
I really enjoyed this movie, the only things I didn't like is Jonah Hill Pukes way too much, and there was so much sex and nudity it wasn't even sexy it was just raunchy.
Hangman's Curse (2003)
I was there at the high school where they filmed this
This movie is good for younger kids but I don't think teens and adults will care for this movie. The movie and ending aren't very good.
I was there while this movie was being filmed, some of my friends even have parts in the movie. They pulled the whole school out to sit in the bleachers for a few hours for the big football scene. It was so boring we had to watch them film the same scene over and over again & the director said now everyone acted shocked or scared. It got old fast, I don't think I would want to act as a profession. The one good thing, we got as many free snow cones as we wanted.
I was very disappointed when we saw the end product I thought this was going to be a scary horror movie it was more of a family movie and shortly after aired on ABC Family.
Fun Fact- another movie that was filmed at this same school was Vision Quest http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090270/
Remember Me (2010)
Awful, only Robert Pattinson fan girls will like this CONTAINS SPOILERS
TERRIBLE MOVIE!!! I love dramas but this was more of an emo movie to see which characters life sucks the most.
SPOILERS!!! This movie is just so depressing it isn't even good. Everyone is beating each other up in this movie. The families in this movie are abusive physically and emotionally towards each other, Including Robert Pattinson character. He beats up his girlfriend in the movie, what kind of example is he trying to set for his young fans???
Also the very end of the movie, when 9-11 happens doesn't fit in with the story at all or really have anything to do with it & I find very insulting to the memory of those lost in 9-11.
I recommend this movie only if you like depressing dramas where bad things happen to every single character in the story. Or you really, really love Robert Pattinson.
I never want to watch this movie again.
Labor Pains (2009)
Just Plain Creepy....
This movie was cute at first but then it just starts to get weird.
Lindsay Lohan plays a girl pretending to be pregnant so she doesn't loose her job, she sticks with the lie for so long she starts to believe it herself.
Then the movie just gets weird. She says she can't smoke or drink, it's not allowed when you're pregnant. She also goes as far as to buying baby clothes and supplies.
It wasn't a complete waste of time if you like a cheesy comedy about a woman discovering her strengths... in a very odd and twisted way.
Watch it if you like these types of movies but as for me I don't think I'll be watching this one again.
