The Living Man (2020)

Most Belgraders can find themselves in this story

Majestic portrayal of a man not aware that many years passed and he's not a young Rocker that can stand anything without consequences. It's about the family, denying growing up, partying in Serbia and other personal delusions.

Nikola Djuricko is awesome in this part, as well as the others. What's amazing is how the story is felt as absolutely real. Alternative scene in Belgrade is rich with middle-aged local celebrities that were respected idols once upon a time. In the end the movie perfectly explains the loyalty to the lifestyle to the very end. It's not a common thing in the 21st century..

The Sopranos meets House of Cards (Balkan version)

This tv show isn't just interesting, well acted out, well directed and perfectly written - it's an amazing interpretation of the reality in Republic of Srpska and Serbia.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (2019)

I rated it this way just because I was expecting way worse.

When I watched Episode 8, it almost made me not go and see the last episode because I had lost all hope that they make a good movie after that piece of crap.

First good sign when I watched the last episode was that I didn't fall asleep, it was actually interesting.

Everything was fine up until the light saber fight between Kylo Ren and Rey - pathetic turn of event where you ask yourself why did they even bother fighting?

Not to mention pathetic lines in the screenplay from that scene forward which was unbearable. At one point I was asking myself if they felt any shame filming those scenes because it must've been embarrassing saying those lines.

I was entertained, that is all.

Jobs (2013)

Excellent movie, perfect casting. I guess only true entrepreneurs can appreciate this movie.

This is not a movie for Apple consumers. I guess the reviews reflect the viewers wishes for this piece to be an eye-candy project. This movie is explaining entrepreneurs journey to success through Steve's life. It's a true story - nothing happens over night. Even when you conquer everything there is to conquer in the industry, there's gonna be patent thieves, rotten non-visionary board members, broken friendships and much more. This is probably the only Kutcher's role where he showed his full potential as an actor.

The Good Shepherd (2006)

Incredibly accurate story about intelligence officers line of work!

There are more than enough comments and reviews about this movie that convinced me it needed its own audience to appreciate it fully. If you're interested in how the intelligence services recruit, train and conduct their business, this is definitely a movie for you.

The story follows Matt Damon as a young man throughout college, explaining when and how he became an OSS and later a CIA non-official cover operative. This movie will describe the line between a soldier and a spy.

Excellent casting, excellent directing.

Panama (2015)

The biggest script disaster since "Dude, where's my car"

I'll admit, I was hooked until the last 20 minutes of this movie. Right up until 15 minutes before the end the movie turns from bad relationship and a chick flick sexual teenage story to a CSI: Missing Victims. The main character suddenly turns from a concerned boyfriend to a prime investigator who finds - nothing (I s*** you not). This piece has the youngest generation of actors, and I was amazed by some of the scenes and disgusted with others. Sometimes, male actors would fall out of their characters and besides acting, the scenario was a total disaster - absolutely inconstant. If you like to see hot sex scenes and nothing else, this is a movie for you. I'm only giving this movie a two because Jovana Stojiljkovic played her role for a 10!
