Bad script for a mediocre film

The idea of the film is not bad but there are son many faults in the scripts tha the interest falls down and down each minute ... only the professionalism of the actors make the film survive.

First, the way the terrorists behaves after the attack is a bit weird. Instead of stealing the car and escape by leaving the driver unconscious or similar he keeps on going with him. Well, this can be accepted... Second, really the first car passing through the road is the one from the terrorists??? Come on.. Third, doesn't the police have a signal inhibitor for the mobile phone? Actions on the phone would have been much easier to avoid detonation. At least it seems an explanation is missing not to do it.

Four, when capturing one of the terrorits two kids steal the phone and no police men realizes of that? Come on Five: there is only ONE police man opening the lockers from the bomb-jacket when the activity could be performed on parallel at least by two???

Well, it is a pity to see films well produced that doesn't take care thoroughly of the script details.

Black Mirror: Loch Henry (2023) Season 6, Episode 2

Predictability ....

The second episode of Black Mirror's highly anticipated 6th season left me with mixed feelings. While the series has always been known for its thought-provoking and mind-bending narratives, this particular episode fell short of those expectations.

The plotline of the episode seemed to follow a rather foreseeable trajectory. The situations presented were surprisingly simple and almost typical of a standard thriller. The element of suspense that usually accompanies Black Mirror episodes was noticeably absent, as the story played out in a way that many viewers could predict well in advance. The reliance on overused tropes, like the lack of cellular signal, further contributed to the feeling of predictability. In a show that thrives on surprising twists and innovative concepts, this episode appeared to tread on familiar ground without offering any refreshing angles.

Despite the shortcomings in the storyline, the actors' performances managed to salvage some of the viewing experience.

However, the episode undeniably missed opportunities to truly shine. Black Mirror has consistently been praised for its ability to explore the darker aspects of technology and society, challenging viewers to contemplate the implications of their actions. Regrettably, this episode lacked that depth and complexity. It didn't delve into the thought-provoking themes that the series is known for, leaving me hoping for a more intellectually stimulating experience.

In conclusion, the second episode of Black Mirror's 6th season had its merits, particularly in the realm of acting prowess. Nevertheless, the episode's formulaic plot and the absence of its signature thought-provoking twists made it fall short of the high bar set by previous seasons..

I Know Who You Are (2017)

Thriller above average

A good tv show that deserves the time. Maybe a little bit long at the end and some story lines a bit complicated with potential flaws but in general the series is good. It is important to highlight the good interpretation from Francesc Garrido and Blanca Portillo. The actor of Juan Elias is incredible in the role. It really makes a difference and when he is in the screen the atmosphere is complete. 16 episodes are a bit long for the plot and the last ones last like a film. You have to be awake not to lose any part of the story. The secondary actors are also very good: Heredia, the police inspectors. Nice to see.

Very boring. "In the realm of law enforcement cinema, 'Asedio' arrives with a promising premise that quickly fizzles into mediocrity. Set within the backdrop of Spanish policing, the film revolves around a female police officer, aiming to carve a niche with its diverse perspective. However, what could have been an invigorating take on the genre falls flat, succumbing to well-worn stereotypes and an overall lack of excitement.

The main character, the policewoman at the heart of the story, offers a glimmer of hope for a fresh narrative angle. Yet, this potential remains largely untapped as the film resorts to clichéd portrayals, squandering the opportunity to delve into the complexities of her experiences. Her journey, while attempting to exude strength, lacks the emotional depth needed to truly resonate with audiences.

Fed up of bullets, bombs,..

Why all American movies are always the same??? With 30mins less of time getting rid of most of shots, persecutions, .... Please more dialogue, more story, more emotions. All the movies are done with the same pattern. Acting is fine as actors and actresses are usually top ones. But this film and many others are empty inside. The script could be done by AI without major problems. Where is there creativity? Super heroes against super villains, some jokes, ... but nothing you will remember. You can sleep on the sofa for 30 mins and get back to see the end without major problems. Quality is going down and down. Special effects and fights are not enough sometimes...

Very interesting series but for the last episode. An accident to make Kendall guilty??? Come on! And a witness??? Tricky tricky. More intelligent moves please. Thinking whether to go for the second season or not...

I started watching the film and it was ok and original... Spoiler: but when the heritage depends on having ten papers without no other requirements makes the plot unbelievable.. and the runs, shots,.. traditional stuff.

I was expecting something more.

Film is quite ok except for the last 10 - 15 mins. Who stays in a cursed house one more night with such episodes happening???? Non sense... just to make it longer and show special effects. 90 mins an 8, 100 mins a 6.

If you see the movie you will have a good time. It lacks a bit of emotion and it is sometimes slow. Good work from Javier Gutierrez and Mario Casas and the rest of the characters.

For the writers: how can you make such a mistake when a contract is offered to Javier without remuneration and as a practice ? This is not possible in the Spanish labor market and when you see it you have a feeling of Not paying attention to details, what makes a difference between good and very good...

Well performed film, good characters but the movie loses energy at the end. I was expecting something different to the obvious. The director Plays with you orienting the film in a direction which at the end does not occur. A bit disappointed but entertaining.

Interesting movie but with some pitfalls and mistakes... Why not forwarding the video? Where is the police on the movie? The relationship with the wife not well explained. The situation that causes the quarrel would have been raised much before in real life with so many people knowing the truth... The character of the son is a perfect one at the beginning and very bad at the the end... script trick Good interpretation from Jose Coronado

Film very well created and produced but there are things that cannot be believed: the first attack cannot be understood. With the technology held by the us army... can they lose??? Won't you kill Ceaser if you had the chance? (When captured) Human reasoning is not very well explained neither. Good special effects and nice Ceasar character.
