Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Blue Flu (2021)
Liberal Garbage
I have just binge watched the entire run of B99. The show was hilarious for the better part of 7 years and then Hollywood finally lost its mind. These writers need to separate their crazy political leanings from their work. Same reason I don't tell people at my work that Biden is the worst President in US history and we will be reeling from this administration for years to follow. Because that has nothing to do with my job! How can they write for a situation comedy and make it all about how evil police and the right wing is? They probably knew it was their last few episodes and took their shot at making a crazy as F political statement about the police. It's so sad.
Elvis (2022)
Mish mash of Garbage
1. The Elvis performance was incredible
2. Tom Hanks as Col Tom is completely annoying. They should play his accent in this movie to torture inmates in Guantánamo Bay
3. Pacing is horrendous. Like a movie trailer.
Anyone who gives this movie a positive review is desperately trying to convince them and others that this garbage movie is watchable, witch it is not. Elvis is dead. Hollywood is also dead. They turn out garbage like this day in and day out. Movies are a dying medium. It's sad what they have become.
There are many other Elvis biopics that this pales in comparison to. Tom Hanks is a woke liberal Hollywood Karen. He should apologize for playing a man with a cain. Or a fat man. Or a foreigner. He's is none of these things just as he was not a gay man when he did Philadelphia. What a sad human being.
Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
Star Wars died in 1983
This show further makes Star Wars feel like a bad marriage that everybody knows is terrible, but continues on for the sake of money. The only bright spot is that Alec Guinness is probably somewhere in the great beyond smiling from ear to ear because Disney has castrated the character he hated so much.
Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Mormon Advantage (2021)
Trump lives rent free in Larry's bald head
The whole season was a bad case of TDS. From the Don Jr beginning to this embarrassing finale, Larry was making a politically woke message. God forbid Larry make a Hunter joke. Liberal Hollywood should watch this episode as a cautionary tale. This is what is your demise is all about. Larry use to be funny but is now another liberal hack with an agenda which gets in the way of the art.
The Reagans (2020)
Liberal Hollywood Smear Job
There is a reason why in his two presidential runs he won by a total of 1,014 electoral votes to 102. He was a great president and by watching just a few minutes of this piece of junk you can see the vitriol and liberal slant in which they try to belittle President Reagan and the 1st lady. They should stick to stealing elections.
This Is Us: Forty: Part Two (2020)
This is Us gets political and racial
After watching TIU for 5 years I think it's time to bail. Much like major sports, the TIU crew had to get racial and political. Nobody tunes in to see this. This is an escape for people. When you don't offer that you fail. Good going TIU. Sad.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Pure Garbage
If you didn't know 10 minutes into this long, pointless film that Sandler's character was going to die , then you are a moron. It was as entertaining as watching my friends bet on a game and then watching them watch said game. Completely tortuous to sit through.
Curb Your Enthusiasm: Side Sitting (2020)
Possibly the worst Episode in the history of this otherwise brilliant show
Seemed like the ultimate filler episode. Larry's interaction with the lawyer as well as the date seemed like forced jokes, the latter being almost unwatchable. The cancer "pact" was ridiculously dumb. Again, this is one of my favorite series of all time but come on Larry, you're way better than that.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Star Wars is no longer a Special Experience
Just for reference, I am a huge fan of the original 3 films, having grown up on them. I've seen the prequels once each due to their boring nature and cartoony digital effects. Not. Fan of them by any stretch. Episode 7 was a fun movie that seemed to set the franchise back on its magnificent footing. Only to be completely undone by the awful episode 8. Prequel level awful!!!
This brings us to this movie. It is nowhere near as good as episode 7 and nowhere near as bad as episode 8. Some questions are left unanswered and some are answered extremely shabbily. Fan service helps but unfortunately there was too much of a mess left from episode 8 to try to reform the narrative and save this trilogy.
It is a watchable movie that lightly reminds you of why Star Wars was at one time, a super special theatrical experience. Now it is just merely another movie that comes out and holds your attention for a couple hours. No more, no less.
Dave Chappelle: Sticks & Stones (2019)
Dave is a genuine person and comic genius
To all the millennial, canceled culture, liberal, life isn't fair, crybabies......not everyone thinks like you. So I'm sorry you put on Dave hoping he'd make jokes you want to hear. The fact is he spoke the truth and it was extremely funny. You don't have to agree with him but you can not deny he is hilarious!!!
The Shop (2018)
Further proof Lebron has no education
Lebron and his uneducated cronies need to live in the real world for a while to truly understand how some people really have it bad. Further proof money cannot buy knowledge.
Captain Marvel (2019)
Silver lining.....
Fantastic Four reboot, you are no longer the worst Marvel film. Take a bow!
Game Night (2018)
One of the funniest movies I've seen in a while
Now of course it's a predictable plot line filled with misunderstandings and people reacting in outrageous situations. But that being said.....it's a freakin movie people. You tardos who can't suspend disbelief for a comedy need to get a life. As for the cast, all of the main ensemble (8 of them) were spot on. Extremely fun in their own character's way. Even the ansilary characters were appealing. The jokes were very funny and most lines of the dialogue were witty throughout. This is a nice break from the remake/reboot drivel that has come our way. Please we don't need another Dumb and Dumber movie anymore.
It (2017)
They forgot the S and H In front of IT.
This movie is nonsense. The circus is scarier than this garbage. Filled with a lot of fat shaming....good job guys.
Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
Wanted to Kill myself in 12 parsecs
Harrison Ford is Han Solo. Not this moon pie faced guy with the southern drawl. The movie would have been watchable if Woody Harrleson tended bar at any point. Best part of the film was when Darth Maul showed up and my 15 year old son asked "Dad, who's that?" He's never seen the prequels so why ruin his life too by subjecting him to that crap? I just said "someone that doesn't matter". Just like this movie doesn't matter.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Don't just like it cause it's Star Wars branded
So to give you an idea of where I come from: The original trilogy, INCREDIBLE. Star Wars (not a new hope, jeez) 10/10, the Empire Strikes Back (possibly the best movie ever made) 10/10, and Return of the Jedi 10/10, fantastic ending despite the Ewoks.
The prequel trilogy? AWFUL. I can't even explain the disappointment. Completely geared towards kids. Basically cartoons.
The Force Awakens? Absolutely loved it! An homage to the OT with new characters that felt like Star Wars worthy. Granted my cinematic idol was killed in it, it was a fantastic beginning to the final 3......until The Last Jedi destroyed all the momentum. I will not get into the details that the other "fan boys (and girls)" harp on, but I will say this. Luke Skywalker's character was destroyed. We waited two years to see this great Jedi that we glimpsed for 30 seconds in the end of TFA. I'm not so much upset with him being a recluse and a pessimist as I am upset that he was not essential to the story. He trained no one. He fought no one (unless you consider that Skype call with Kylo Ren a fight). Just poor writing and a terrible imagination on that directors part. Leia was also a non factor. Although who knew Jedi's releatives can fly through space? Laughable. And as for Rey, Finn and Poe, why bother expanding on their stories. Who wants to know what Rey's linage really is when we have those little seal/penguin things to laugh at. Oh and sweet casino planet scene......NOT (Borat inflection).
Overall the move sucks. And sucks badly!! Star Wars in the title makes it money. Call it Battlestar Galactica and it is out of the theater in a week.
