Bradley Whitford, who plays Jake's father, and Jimmy Smits, who plays Amy's father, worked closely together for the final seasons of The West Wing, wherein Whitford's character Josh Lyman was the campaign manager and then chief of staff for Smits's character Matt Santos. See more »
Goofs
Captain Holt is generally regarded for his attention to detail and procedure, however the holster he wears is actually incredibly unsafe. It features a thumb-break retention strap that can interfere with drawing his revolver during a confrontation. The holster also leaves the trigger-guard of his revolver uncovered, increasing the likelihood of a negligent discharge while drawing or holstering, and making it possible for someone trying to take his revolver to fire it in the holster. Spoiler alert: this is one of my favorite shows. An incredible blend of lovable and hilarious characters. So much fun. So many laugh out loud moments. Even on a second full watch through I find myself laughing loudly in delight at this great gem of a show. It's a must watch IMO
