Mirroring
20 June 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Call me by your name does something no other film I have yet to watch has done. I felt the beginning half was very slow but not at all boring with great dialogue to keep anyone intrigued. The latter half is where all the emotions and feelings finally break out and the characters finally realize their feelings for each other are not wrong and it's fine to love who you love. I made the title of this mirroring because the relationship in the film for me felt like it didn't even get to begin and that's exactly what it was like for Elio and Oliver. They knew from the very start they had something but neither one acted on it until it was almost too late. At least they got to enjoy a few great weeks together! Easily one of the best romance films I have seen with a superb soundtrack to lift it even more.

Invincible: I Thought You Were Stronger (2024)
Season 2, Episode 8

This is why it took so long!
4 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Everything about this episode is so so good especially the voice acting from Steven Yeun, Sterling K. Brown, and Sandra Oh. I loved the first 20 minutes of the episode the most, especially when Invincible was transported to the walking dead universe which is my favorite show and comic also made by Robert Kirkman. The animation team did so good every fight scene and just every part of the episode was great (even the jogger at the beginning was animated extremely well for such an inadequate scene.) I cannot wait for the next season but I think I will have to read the comics first just because of how good I know this story will get!

What's normal?
4 April 2024
I want to start this off by recognizing how great Joaquin and the rest of the cast were. I felt like I was straight up watching someone else's life and struggles that by the time the credits came up I was tossed back to reality. I truly believe that the kids they interviewed weren't reading a script and just gave there true thoughts on life because kids are so much more real and honest than adults when it comes to what living means and other things. They just have a more fresh view on life and haven't been completely ruined by the world around them yet. One interview I will remember forever was when he asked the girl "why would you want to change your attitude" and she responded with something along the lines of she doesn't like her anger. Also do not skip the credits there are more interviews until the very end and most taught me something new or reminded me of how to live right. This movie accomplished all it wanted to and more which for me makes a movie basically perfect. 9.7/10.

Fantastic series and finale
31 March 2024
This series has just completely exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The episode as a whole if anything else I would give a 9 to but It's the finale and the ending of the episode had me in tears. Once again Andrew Lincoln knocks it out of the park with his performance. I wonder if the walking dead never happened how many good movies or other tv shows he would have been involved in because he is just that good of an actor. All the flashbacks of certain moments of the series were awesome and makes me want to rewatch the original series again for the 3rd time. I'm sad it's over but the story of the ones who live was perfectly paced and writing that I can only hope for a season 2 that matches this one or no other ones at all. Thanks for making this universe Robert Kirkman and whoever else was involved it has brought me so much happiness!

Phenomenal acting
17 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
It's hard to say this is the best episode yet with the other 3 being so amazing as well but it probably is my favorite. The acting from both Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira is the so good I felt everything emotion that they were feeling while I watched. The flashback of Carl was great and it was awesome to see him again even if it was only for a couple seconds. I could really feel Rick's pain while he described how much he has lost and loved how Michonne made him realize if he stayed they would lose the time that they still could have with each other. This series really has it all from the movie like quality and action to great acting every single episode from all involved.

Absolutely stunning
26 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I just watched this in IMAX and it was one of the greatest movie experiences I have ever had. Everything from part one was done even better in part two and the story was much more interesting. The outfits were so unique and really well made. Whenever I thought it was starting to move a little slow something insane happens and I'm instantly drawn back into the world of dune that Denis has remade and expanded on so much. All the shots of the different worlds were just breathtaking. The last hour of the movie is by far some of the best made cinema in awhile and the action was so good. The last fight was awesome as well. "You fought well Atreides."

Rick's Return!!
25 February 2024
I was not expecting this level of quality and storytelling to come from this series what so ever but man was this first episode so good! Andrew Lincoln's acting is on another level and he has never looked better. The shots is the city and water in front of it were all done so well and looked like a shot out of a movie. The last scene was so exciting and I was just so happy to see them both together in the TWD world again. I cannot wait for next week! Many people are mad this is only 3 episodes but I think it's better they put all their work into those 3 episodes instead of making more that just fill in gaps and don't push the story along.

The Nice Guys (2016)
10/10
A hidden gem
21 January 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This is like if Barry and True detective were to mash together into a 2 hour movie. Gosling and Crowe had me laughing the whole time. The funniest part had to be the short dream sequence and Holland later trying to get a gun that wasn't even there! There were two moments in the film that had me in complete awe; 1. Amelia staying alive so long just to run into the guy in the street and get shot immediately 2. The gun fight close to the beginning where a random person got shot through the window. Both just show how brutal anything related to guns can be in the funniest way possible. Another moment that was great as well was when Jackson tells Holland the diner story and he falls asleep. Right after Jackson says "For a moment I felt useful" the scene switches to him looking miserable in the car. That was just out of no where for this film but was beautiful. They also managed to fit a very sad and short background to Hollands character. His daughter tells Jackson about how her mom/his wife died because he couldn't smell the oil leak in the furnace. The movie really does a fine job of sneaking in those moments and mixing them with the hilarious absurdness that it is. Gosling and Crowe do have the same feel as Harrelson and Mcconaughey, but the setting and events that happen remind me so much of one of my favorite shows Barry. The only very slight criticism I could have about this film was it not feeling like the 1970s exactly. The two of them continuing on together at the end should be turned into a full television series for real! Overall 9.5/10.

Not one bit overrated
12 January 2024
It's my first time ever seeing this film because im young and just began diving into all different types of movies and shows. Shawshank redemption is the highest rated movie on IMDb and it's for a reason. It is by far the best movie I have seen yet and I've seen quite a few new and old such as the godfathers and many other high rated films. From the beginning to the end I was locked in and didn't move. The acting, plot, visuals, and dialogue are all out of this world and there were many times I found myself smiling and laughing and many times were I was angry at the guards or even crying for one of the inmates in particular. This movie brought every emotion out of me and I don't know if any other film will live up to it but I hope there will be! Fight club, her, blade runner, and heat are the only other films I've given a 10 but still they don't really compare to this masterpiece which is exactly what it is.

Beautiful
7 January 2024
I've probably watched the part with Richie listening to love story speeding thru the ally 100x now. This episode instantly makes me happy everytime I put it on again it genuinely is one of the best episodes of anything I've ever seen and if you aren't cheering for Richie the whole episode somethings wrong with you! Richie had no place or purpose in the kitchen before he was sent to the nicest restaurant in the world where he began cleaning forks and eventually found a purpose for himself and a way to help the family back at the bear. This episode and honeydew are some of the greatest pieces of television we've had in awhile. Bravo The Bear!

Phenomenal
30 October 2023
I am only writing this review to put shame on the guy who gave it 2. How could you possibly go into this anime thinking it was going to be straight action scenes and that's it. That isnt the authors style what so ever. This show is a masterpiece of storytelling and emotions. The first episode left me in tears and the build up to the finale was beautifully done along with the finale itself. Pluto and monster which are both written by the same author are not meant to be action animes but more a story that slowly unravels and tears at your heart strings. I believe if you give this anime anything under an 8 you have to be a young kid or someone with a short attention span just eager for fight loaded episodes.
