Still not a Let Down
2 November 2006
I just saw it this evening and i was Very Pleased!!!! I was looking for more suffering blood guts and gore to redeem it from pt 2 which was still good but if i had to put them in order it would have to be 3,1,2 Everone go see it with all the horror movies coming out that are pg-13 we need something to shake us up!!!, and saw delivers!!!With SAW 3 it delivers more inventive traps and devices , more suffering , More twists turns and just kinda thinking ahead even with the way it ended i still think that i could even pull off a good saw 4 even though i just read a column that they were announcing October 26 2007 I was thinking of ways that I could make this continue on.

YOUR SUFFERING WILL BE LEGENDARY EVEN IN HELL!!!!!!!!!

I had A good time.
14 August 2005
Granted remakes usually suck but this had enough gore and split tale innovations that made it quite entertaining. The acting was a bit shaky but not everyone can be a Julia Adams (The Creature From The Black Lagoon)> You had a few scenes that make you jump. Okay killing sequences, and some twists make it a good entertaining horror flick. Tony Shalhoub would not have been even in my top 20 to play the father of the family that is suppost to move in but I'm not sure who I would have put in his place but definitely NOT him. F. Murray Abraham has delivered a great performance and well Shannon Elizabeth .......well enough said. Mathew Lillard does a wonderful job as usual we can expect great things from him. There are a few lines that are real shaky that make you think "How Dumb for them to say that" BUT its a good film to watch for an evening of suspense and a little gore check it out.

The Dukes Are BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7 August 2005
I was skeptical about this film but thought I would give it a shot. I must admit I enjoyed this MORE than I did than the TV show and I was an avid DUKES OF HAZZARD fan. I felt like I was sitting in the movie theater for the first time during SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT. It was so much fun, So many incidents with the car chases and the speeding. Sean William Scott and Johnny KNoxville did their own impression of the "Duke" Boys and w/ Willie Nelson, and Jessica Simpson it could not have been any better. I enjoyed myself through out the entire movie as well as everyone in the theater laughing and cheering the whole time. It was wonderful Check it out and you will have a good time. YAAAAAA-HOOOOOOOO!!! Can't wait to see it again!

They Just Don't Make It Like This Anymore
2 August 2005
Well for the Die-Hard movie critic that look at films in a narrow minded way they would rip this up. BUT if your a serious "blood, guts, & gore fan your gonna love this. They just don't make these "B" class flicks anymore and there are people who like this sort of thing. In the tradition of "Pieces", "Slaughter High", "I Spit On Your Grave", "Slumber Party Massacre", you have a good ----GoreFest here. Yeah sure the acting is awful but who cares your watching it for the BG&G! Hollywood and Indies just don't make enough of these types anymore like they did in the early to mid 80's. Definitely not to be seen by young eyes but take a look and enjoy

Save Your Money!!!!!
21 June 2005
For those who hated the last "Batman" w/ schwarzenegger & Thurman I have news for you; this one is worse!!!!! It is too long, too draggy, characters are awful the lines are even worse and i wanted to walk out after 45 min. but I didn't (BIG mistake on my part cause it NEVER got any better. Yeah I know what everyone is thinking this is how it really started out.....phooey! Who ever wrote this did such a bad job that my only hopes is that he finds another career. Christian Bale had potential BUT he now IS the worse batman and I thought you couldn't get any worse than Michael Keaton. I am still wondering why they paid Katie Holmes a hefty little salary when they could have just used any "shmo" off the street to play her and her crappy little lines. My best advice to everyone is if you really want to watch this take heed and get it on DVD invite all your friends over and charge a nickle a head so you are not even out the $4.00 for rental.

Something new to Horror
21 September 2004
Final Destination has redefined horror. Giving us something else to be afraid of. We haven't had that in such a long time. Final Destination didn't focus on the gore of the movies like it did the shadows and music that made this film keep you on the edge of your seat. it follows in the footsteps of the original Hollywood horror films that used lighting and theme music to bring about a story that gets to us all. Everyone was basically tired of the Freddy and Jason movies as the became very predictable. With Final Destination we have learned that there are still things out there that scare us. In the new era of horror Hollywood has been gracious enough to lead us into a different direction and Final Destination is at the helm, with such movies as scream & I know What You Did Last Summer it just shows to us horror fans that Hollywood can still entertain our class of viewers. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Devil in the Flesh (1998 Video)

Rose McGowan shines in Evil!!
21 September 2004
You know I just really love these kinds of movies. It all is credited to the actors/actresses that play in them. Devil in the Flesh is no exception.

Rose Mcgowan played her part so well that it was very believable. The whole fatal attraction idea blended with a spark of hatred and evil put forth by McGowan is just grand. The storyline is pretty basic in the same lines as Poison Ivy. Most people will say if you have seen one you have seen them all. Well I can relate to that line but you really have to give them a chance and watch them as individual films. At least see the work that the actors/actresses have put forth. You never can tell one may be better than the other and with this one it puts forth enough evilness to push it to the front of the line!!!

Could have Been Better
21 September 2004
Here we have a sequel that as usual doesn't measure up to the first. The good thing about this film is the computer graphic animation(which we got a good dose of in the first one). It still needed better actors instead of "no-name" people and the couple of actors it did have just seemed as they were not into the movie itself and it was more of a Jr. High school play for them. The story well it didn't have the backing of Stephen King as we could tell. It must have been thrown together just for the sake of having a sequel to the original "Lawnmower Man". If you are a die hard collector like myself and want to make sure you get all the sequels then my suggestion is spend as less money as possible on it. Anything over $5.00 would be looney. If you can tape it off of television when it comes on that would be best then you only out a blank videotape.

Dynamic Duo in Da Hood
21 September 2004
Wow! A fresh funny perspective on "Hood" life. This film w/ Chris Tucker and Ice cube as two guys on a Friday in the hood couldn't have been any funnier than it was. With the rapper Ice Cube and funnyman Chris Tucker, they kept the laughs coming and by the end of the film you were screaming for it not to turn into Saturday!! This was basically a breakout movie for the ever popular Chris Tucker, a mark that would boost up his future career in acting. This is a must-have for anyones home video library as if you are feeling down you can always put this in to brighten your spirits and give you a taste of hood life at the same time. It has a great cast of others that help push it along as well. Don't miss it!!

Not Bad!!!!
19 September 2004
After reading the other views on the board about this film I felt compelled to put my thoughts in as they are actually a bit more uplifting to the film.

I have been a fan of the horror genre for a long time and the films of the undead are of special value. I think that a lot of the comments that are made on here are by folks that don't respect the undead movies of Romero etc. This film was actually a different change of pace. It offers a cross between Dawn of The Dead and Island of Dr. Moreau. The special effects were grand to watch and the story kept the film going. It gave us new faces in which I hope to see again in the future. instead of going by what others say deciding that you are not going to see this film I say give it a shot it's definitely entertaining!

What About Pinhead????
19 September 2004
You know this a crazy. Not since part 3 (Hellraiser 3: Hell On Earth)have we really got a good story of the pain, sexual pleasures, blood, guts and gore that we received off of the first 3. We started out with a great concept and for some reason they continue to make these hellraiser movies with out showing much of the star--Pinhead. thats what fans are screaming for. We are all in hopes when we see a new one that it will measure up to the first 3 and give us the satisfaction we are looking for from pinhead. We keep getting lame stories of the past which doesn't give us pinhead, or the future that doesn't give us pinhead, or just lame story lines that do not give us pinhead. Give us what we want in these films or we will eventually give up on our quest for finding what we started out admiring from the beginning.

Same ole Same ole
19 September 2004
I was really looking forward to this movie because of billy Bob Thornton, BUT for an hour and a half of listening to the bickering back and forth of who slept with who got really old really fast. A waste of time and money. The acting in the movie was up to par but anyone could argue consistently and make it believable. Laura Dern is her usual self and does a decent job but like I said the continuous arguing is all the movie is based on. Nothing spectacular at all. Why the film industry decided to waste good film on such a poor script is beyond me. Its really disturbing to know that there are executives out there that would even read a 1/4 of the way though this script and say lets make this into a movie. Billy Bob should leave the pot alone next time he decides to write a movie.
