Gross
3 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Listen, I understand it's supposed to be disturbing. I get that. But this movie, was just. Nothing. It made no sense. It was scene after scene of grossness. It only got to the "escape" point was at the very end when the eldest daughter decided to leave. Or sneak out. I don't know. The movie didn't have many dialogue, but it didn't show much either. So I was confused. And why did the two other siblings had to get together!? There was no point. Literally no point. It was just an hour and a half of weird scenes of adults acting like kids but also, mature?? Idk. I hated every second of this movie and do not recommend it to anyone.

Massive fan, not a massive fan of the ending.
3 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I am a huge fan of the magical girl genre and this anime did not disapoint. It was fun, magical but also had a more serious and dark side, which I did not expect. But it was such a nice suprise. I enjoyed almost every single character, beautiful scenes, especially when it comes to the dance scenes. I loved how it took the forbidden love but it made it into something so much more. The only thing I didn't really like was the pair choices, especially in the ending. The ending was the worst part. Everyone got a happy ending exept Duck (the main character), but it was made to seem like she did?? Idk, didnt really make sense to me. But despite the ending, this series was still amazing, would be a 10/10 if not the ending.

Hilarious

Warning: Spoilers
I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but me personally, I loved it. I love how it caricatures H*tler in the most stupid way possible, and I love it. Scarlet Johanson was perfect for this role. H*tler being a little boy's imaginary friend is something I never thought I might enjoy seeing, but it was literally so funny, the acting and the way the boy imagines him is so well made. Like as the story goes on, and he finds a jewish girl that his mom is hiding in the walls and his imaginary friend becomes more and more realistic to the real man, and it ends up changing Jojo's point of view. Absolute masterpiece.

It's a disappointment
31 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I'm already not a big fan of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory franchise, but this movie was the cherry on top of my hatred. The kid actors are fine, pretty impressive work, Johnny Depp was also pretty good but oh my god. Willy Wonka, his character makes me furious. Mainly the very end and his relationship with his father is so boring and it makes no sense. I noticed this pattern in media where in sequels/reboots villains/antagonists get a sad backstory so you feel bad for them (ex: The onceler from the Lorax) but I can't feel bad for a man who I already saw being jolly about killing kids before. Bad movie, Tim Burton disappointed me with this one.

Heart shattering masterpiece
31 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This series will hit you in the stomach. It's a masterpiece that brings a tear to the eye. The main character's story really makes you go "he deserved better" as he is traumatized more and more as the series goes on. It's not scared to be as brutal as possible, as one of the most comical characters dies very early into the series. It's a very tragic death, but it makes you want to continue the series. Ash and Eiji's relationship is so tragic but lovely, you root for them from the moment they met. This series also has a sick villain who's so disgusting, you can't wait to see him loose. Overall, an extremely good series that makes you wanna bawl your eyes out.

Dan Vs. (2011–2013)
10/10
One of the best series of all time
31 July 2023
My best friend recommended this to me and I was skeptical at first but oh my god. I am so addicted to this series, I just finished it and I'm craving another season. It's just, so good and genius and funny with lovable characters. It's a crime that this series only has 3 seasons, it deserves all the hype. The premise of every episode is the same but they're all so entertaining and you can differentiate them from each other. The jokes hit hard, and you can get some sweet moments between the three main characters. Dan and Chris make an iconic duo, with Elise tagging along as the mysterious but hilarious and loving wife of Chris. Dan vs definitely goes in my favorites.

Elvis (2022)

I did not like it
30 July 2023
Not gonna lie, I dislike this movie so bad. The cinematography was beautiful I guess but I did not need 2 hours and 39 minutes about musician who I already dislike. This movie went on FOREVER but even Family Guy did a better job at explaining his story than this movie did. I couldn't feel attached for Elvis, maybe it was the acting, maybe it's just me but the only enjoyable thing about this movie to me is the way it's shot. It feels like I'm reading a Wikipedia page but with beautiful images. I would recommend it to people who like Elvis, but if you don't or just don't care about him, go watch another movie.

A classic, but a bit overrated
29 July 2023
As classic as this movie is, I feel like it is a bit too hyped up by the horror community. This movie was definitely something. Like it wasn't bad, the acting is amazing, but I have to admit, it's way too long. I was rolling my eyes through some scenes, just waiting for them to end. I don't even have much words to say cuz I literally just watched it cuz it's a classic. There are definitely better classics out there like The Exorcist or American Psycho. I'm not saying it's bad, there definitely parts that I enjoyed but I don't know, overall, it didn't really leave a mark on me. I didnt really care.

Disturbing animated movie done right
29 July 2023
While the plot may contain some holes, and the ending might feel a bit rushed, this movie perfectly gets you into that disturbing animated movie feeling you love. The animation is fantastic, and it's not scared to get as grotesque as it needs to with some violent gore animation. The soundtrack feels groovy and unsettling, like you're at the doctor's waiting room, scared that when will he call out you're name. The movie may not explain some parts here and there but it keeps being entertaining, with it's classic mystery solving duo. Definitely recommend for people who want to see crime and action.

The Smurfs (1981–1989)
9/10
One of the best cartoons.
5 June 2023
I recently started to go back to my roots and my new special interest is the smurfs. I re-watched all of the movies, and of course this series. I remember being a kid and owning multiple dvds and rewatching the same few episodes over and over again. This series brings so much joy to my life because its so whimsical and the characters are fun. Sure it has some flaws, but I love it nonetheless. When it comes to animation, the backgrounds are so beautiful but the animation of the smurfs themselves can be a bit weird and over lapping sometimes but what do you expect from a small series from the80s.

One of my favorite movies
31 May 2023
This movie is so gorgeous. Its like an art project. The cinematography makes me wanna take my eyes out because after this movie, theres nothing else I can see that hits that level of beauty. Anthony Hopkins did an amazing job and so did Jodie Foster. But even the more minor roles are amazing like Kasi Lemmons as Ardelia Mapp. The plot is so thoughtfully put together. The characters are great, creepy, and like a painting. I cannot describe how well this movie is made when it comes to the creepiness. Or anything. This movie deserved all of the awards and I hope everyone will enjoy it as much as I.

Both the weirdest and best anime
30 April 2023
Honestly its really hard to describe because it's so unbelievably funny but at the same time it's a L0licon, which makes ALOT of scenes uncomfortable. Its kinda like Dragon Maid, where you both love it but at the same time feel gross for watching it. Overall if you ignore all the gross stuff, it's really fun and definitely recommend. The story is simple, maybe sometimes confusing but you will get the most of it. Wish they made more then 6 episodes overall because I want to know more about the angels and their world. The intro is so catchy and it will stuck in your head for your entire life 8/10.
