Alibi (1997 TV Movie)
2/10
Crap

Umm.. I was quite surprised that someone actually gave this film high marks.

Lets face it... Tori Spelling is not a great actress.. and this movie just proves the extent of her "talent". The movie's plot was weak... I bet the dork that came up with this concept was some perverted peeping tom. If there is a good thing about this movie, I would say it's that Tommy Chong's daughter, just for the fact that she's his daughter... and then there is that Soap-Opera-ish male lead who's decent good looks somewhat make him attractive, but ceases to help his dramatic abilities. *Why does IMDb require at least 10 lines? How many more ways can you simply say "This movie sucks"?

Freaks (1932)
8/10
Fascinating, in all touching...

Although I would think most people would find this movie grotesque and disturbing, I found it wonderful and delightful. Sure the characters didn't seem attractive, nor were they meant to be... besides, this movie still provided a moral plot and was supported by a meaningful cast. You can't help but fall in love with Frieda's character and feel her pain and discontentment with Hans. Not to mention Venus, I just adored her character... she showed so much beauty for defending the so-called 'freaks'. Personally.. they're just human, to me... they are different... and if any character was a freak.. it would definitely have been both Hercules and Cleo... there makeout scenes were quite disturbing and disgusting... more like body thrusts at one another. Over all, I love this movie... for it's meaningful message.

The Smokers (2000)

At least, they were good looking.. well most

Although the movie was pretty lame, with all honesty, it was a nice change for a new storyline. Unlike those typical teen movies with partying and some fruitless high school teens, this movie.. well, it didn't have substance, but it had a "nice" attempt. The movie went by pretty quick, though it repeated many of its sequences. I, however, was only glued to the tube because of my favorite actors, Dominique Swain and Oliver Hudson. The actors, well, most of them looked good, and that's a bonus for the film's empty significance.

Happy Campers (2001)
3/10
Corny, but an A-oTay movie.

Although I must admit, Happy Campers is not exactly an Oscar-winning title, nor is it as a movie. However, is this movie really aimed toward the serious 30s and 40s? I don't think so! The movie overall was very typical... but had a lot of crude, rude, and cute humor. Teens would absolutely love it.. including, the few girls and guys who are still cool, despite what others may say, about their likes of the immature all-around fun comedy. No Academy awards, of course, but funny and humorous performances from the worthy, Brad Renfro... as well as a favorite of mine, Dominique Swain. Good and fun humor!

Disappointing...
7 August 2002
As an avid watcher of the Real World... I was totally disappointed in the storyline and well, its characters... it was badly played out and possibly the only good part of the tv-movie... was Adam, the frat boy's face... otherwise the characters were very bland. Roland, what kind of name is that, who planned the Real World 'Challenge' was a terrible character. Bunim and Murray... that was a low blow to your Real World Wonder.
