The movie is a slowburn type of movie, but I felt that its pace in the first part of the movie was needed to reach the psychologically disturbed area. With a nice escalation and sequence of events, opposing people who said that the first part was boring for me it was not, the movie achieved its goal of making me intrigued with the events. The acting was in a separate area to grade because it was great.
First, let's talk about it. James McAvoy's performance in Paddy; illustrated the characters' emotions in a convincing and very detailed way, which made him look like a real psycho. Second, Mackenzie Davis in Louise; was good, and I was impressed with her facial expressions, which clearly demonstrated her dangerous and irritating situation. Third, which was a surprise, was Dan Haugh acting as Ant, who had an outstanding scene in the last part of the movie, which was great for a kid; he did a good job.
