Truly sickening; a grotesque film
29 March 2024
This is the first movie I've ever seen that made me physically nauseous. I don't even know how I made it through this sickening work of "art". The lead character was played very well, although very sickening. He seemed sweaty all the time which I had pointed out during watching it, and the movie being in Black and White didn't make it any better; it left more for my brain to imagine. I thought I was going to throw up during the ending, which has never happened and I can usually withstand disturbing and grotesque films, but this one was different. It is definitely the grossest movie I've ever watched.

Saltburn (2023)
10/10
Not what I typically watch, but I enjoyed it!
28 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
After all I had seen about how "disgusting" and "disturbing" Saltburn was, I knew I just had to watch it. I was a little disappointed since I had realized it was over 2 hours long and I don't usually like long movies. I just decided to watch it since everyone I knew that had seen it loved it. My expectations lived up to what everyone had been saying, except that I don't think it's as gross and disturbing as everyone had said it was. I thought Barry Keoghan played Oliver perfectly. I had seen him in The Killing of a Sacred Deer, so I knew that I would love his performance in Saltburn. Weirdly enough, I enjoyed a lot of the scenes people found "nasty" or "too weird". These scenes made the movie unique in my opinion, and it definitely set it apart from other films. I was getting a bit bored at the beginning because I like movies to pick up instantly. (my expectations of this are lower now since this rarely happens in any critically acclaimed movie of any kind) However, once more and more started happening, I quickly regained my interest. I also thought the ending brought the whole film together, I was worried they weren't going to reveal the cause of Felix's death, or anybody's for that matter. I found the ending very interesting because it amplified my whole experience watching this movie. As I was pondering upon the movie, I saw the final scene and started laughing out loud at 1:00am. It was truly an amazing experience that will probably never repeat with another movie, because this is the first film I've seen to have a character lick one's bath water and dance in the nude to Murder on the Dancefloor in the house of his friend and his friend's family, who he also happened to kill. Although I must warn you if you're going to watch this movie; it really gets Murder on the Dancefloor stuck in your head afterwards, you probably won't stop singing it.

Black Swan (2010)
10/10
Literally my favorite movie
4 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is an amazing work of art. I had to watch it twice in one weekend because it was so astonishingly good. I was tired the night I first watched it, but it was so eventful with plot twists and unexpected events that it kept my attention for the entire 1 hour and 50 minutes. I watched it the day after with friends.

The movie follows the protagonist "Nina" who attends dance class and is auditioning for the Swan Queen in a new version of Swan Lake. In order to play the role of the Swan Queen, she has to play the role of the White Swan and the Black Swan. She gets the part of the Swan Queen, but then her mental state starts to severely decline and she has frequent hallucinations and personality changes that affect her life.

It doesn't sound good before you watch it, but when you finish it, you will see the real beauty of the film.

My absolute favorite movie
23 October 2023
This is my favorite movie in the entire world. I have said that many times about many different movies, but this time its true. Every actor in this movie does a phenomenal job, but specifically Angelina Jolie. She does an amazing job at playing Lisa. My favorite characters are Daisy, daisy's cat ruby, and Polly. I have watched the movie probably more than nineteen times, but i can remember i have watched it at least that many times. Usually im not very fond of movies that are 2+ hours, but this movie and the shining are some of the only exceptions. For some weird reason, this movie is my comfort movie, and I watch it to go to sleep. I watch it a couple times a month, but sometimes i watch it more if i feel in the mood for it. There are many great actors/actresses in this movie, including Winona Ryder, Angelina Jolie as I already mentioned, Woopie Goldberg, Clea Duvall, Elizabeth Moss, and Brittany Murphy, however i probably forgot a few because the movie is so awesome.

Saw X (2023)
7/10
Awesome addition to the series, but some questions I need to ask
23 October 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is EASILY one of my favorite movies in the Saw franchise. I have been rewatching the whole series, and this one is my favorite along with the OG and the second. I had medium-low expectations, since its a newer movie, and sometimes newer movies in franchises can suck sometimes. Although when i watched this movie, i hadnt seen any other saw movies than the first and second, and a bit of the third. Now I have seen all of the movies. This movie was good and it had an interesting plot that was easy to follow along. I DID have some questions though. One of them is, why does John Kramer even care about his cancer at this point? He's been very sickly since the first movie, and hes also been elderly, so he should be greatful that he's lived this long, because living approx 20 years with bad cancer is very miraculous, especially at the stage and severity of his cancer. Another question i had is, how did he make all these contraptions so quick? He is visiting mexico from the US and hasnt had any time after the "surgery." Speaking of the supposed surgery that he found out was fake, wouldn't he have felt at least somewhat in pain? How didnt he know that he wasnt ACTUALLY getting a surgery. Even with anesthesia, its still a mystery to me. He wouldve at least felt something post op, even if he was on painkillers that doesnt take the pain away miraculously. I know that it's just a movie and im not supposed to think about these things, but these are just my curiosities!

Also i liked seeing amanda, cuz she's kewl.

Jigsaw has really became a good guy, cause those doctors got what they deserved.

Also, how did that one guy have a surgery scar if it wasnt a real surgery? (Sorry i just thought of that question after losing it in my packed mind lol) Jigsaw has really become a good guy over the years, he was basically just giving killers and selfish people what they deserve!

Boyhood (I) (2014)

Boring movie that needed SERIOUS editing
23 October 2023
The concept of the movie was cool, because it was filmed over 12 years and thats pretty unique. I watched the movie with really high expectations. I dont have a very long attention span, but it sounded interesting so i decided to watch it. I did three different days of watching it, and then fell asleep accidentally on the fourth. After that, i just decided to watch it in one day with my family. I almost fell asleep AGAIN. It was soooo boring. Its a 2 hour 45 minute movie, which is way too long for the amount of stuff happening in the movie (very little). I had heard amazing things about it and i was very disappointed. The movie was basically just an ordinary kid as he grows up, but occasional things that make him different. It could have worked out at 2 hours, MAYBE LESS. Out of two other people that watched it with me NOBODY liked it, and everyone almost fell asleep (some did) during the movie because of its boringness and longevity. I was gonna watch something else, but since this movie seemed interesting i suggested we watch this instead. Now i wished i watched the other suggested movie we were originally going to watch. (I watched it the day after, and it was ten times better) I respect your opinion if this is your favorite movie. But respectfully, its not mine and it sucks.

Hereditary (2018)

I had to watch it twice and now i love it
30 April 2023
I watched this movie for the first time in about 2021. I absolutely hated it and did not understand the hype at all. To me it felt like nothing happened. I just rewatched it today, after I was told that it was actually really good, and now I strongly agree. I didnt get the movie at first, but now I do. Im glad I rewatched it or else I would still be talking crap about this movie. I realized that I barely remembered this movie and was probably not paying attention/going on my phone while watching. If you watch this movie and extremely dislike it, I recommend you rewatch it. If you dont thats okay though.

South Park: Scott Tenorman Must Die (2001)
Season 5, Episode 4
10/10
My fav!
24 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is really funny. Cartman is always cruel, but in this episode he took it further than usual. It starts when a 8-9th grader, named Scott Tenorman sells Cartman his pubic hair for ten dollars, but Cartman doesn't know that you grow it yourself, and then he realizes he got scammed by Scott Tenorman. He goes to his house, enraged, and tries to get his money back. He ends up also losing an additional $6.12. Even more enraged, he decides to get revenge on Scott. Scott Tenorman makes says that there is a "pube fair" in Fort Collins where you can make money from pubic hairs, so Cartman takes a train, thinking he's going to earn a million bucks, and then realized that it was a prank. Cartman says he needs money or else his grandma is going to get euthanized, but Scott burns the money. Cartman makes a plan and tries to train a pony to bite off Scott's weiner, but Stan, Kyle, and Kenny secretly tell Scott. Scott tries to intervene on the plan by getting his rich parents to take care of the pony when he says that it was starved and abandoned, but Cartman had a backup plan. He knew that Scott liked Radiohead, so he tried to get Radiohead to come when Scott got his weiner bitten off so then it would be really embarrassing for him. Cartman had a feeling that his friends would tell Scott that he was going to get a pony to bite off his weiner, so he decided to tell the owner of the farm that there were violent pony killers in the area. Scott's parents came to save the pony, but got shot. Cartman dragged the bodies away and baked it into chili, so then Radiohead would see him eat chili made from his parents. Scott made chili with pubes from practically every kid in town, but Cartman knew that so he switched the chili out with Chef's. Scott ate the chili that Cartman made, and then Cartman told him after he ate it. Scott started to cry, and then Radiohead made fun of him and called him a crybaby. This is a really good, action-packed episode. :)

South Park: Weight Gain 4000 (1997)
Season 1, Episode 2
9/10
One of my favorites!
23 April 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I love this episode for no reason but its just one of my comfort south park episodes. Cartman becomes more "big boned" than he already is! Kathie Lee Gifford comes to South Park and Cartman surprisingly wins an essay contest, but it is revealed by Wendy Testaburger that the essay was copied off of the book Walden by Henry David Thoreau. Mr. Garrison tries to get his revenge on Kathie Lee from many years ago when she beat him in a talent show. However, Mr. Garrison is unsuccessful. Cartman was happy that he was going to be on TV, but because of the attempted murder of Kathie Lee, she is escorted out of the area and nobody cares about Cartman because Kathie Lee Gifford is gone. He gets extremely upset. In this episode, Kenny got impaled by a sharp flag pole. Cartman didn't get to have his essay award presented by Kathie Lee on national television, but he gets to be on TV for being morbidly obese.

South Park: Cartman Gets an Anal Probe (1997)
Season 1, Episode 1

Good episode
17 April 2023
This is the first episode of a show which now has twenty six seasons, and I must say that this episode is a good one. It's a good episode, but not my very favorite of the entire show. I like the animation in this episode because it was made entirely of construction paper, and I also heard it took six months to make because of it. It's fun to rewatch this episode because when I started out watching South Park, (not just watching random episodes that were on TV at the time) I started with this episode and this season and went forward. South Park is now my favorite show and I sometimes rewatch this episode for the nostalgia.

It was good but...
22 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I liked it but it was taking forever because of all the times it made me repeat my choices. I ended up not watching the whole thing. It shouldn't be called 'Choose your own adventure' when half of it you can't even choose. Some of the questions were boring like what cereal Stefan got to eat or what music he listened to on the bus. It really doesn't have the vibe of black mirror and it feels like it was made by someone else. Positive things: it was very cool and unique. It was funny when Stefan and Dr. Haynes had the fight when I had chosen Netflix and his dad got kicked in the balls. I was sad I had to go back (twice) but it was very fun to pick the things Stefan did!

Cute show, annoying kids
6 July 2022
I like the show! I put it on when I am chilling in bed! But, the kids are pretty annoying and kind of ruin the show. They never learn their lessons and never get punished. The Quads could murder someone and not get in trouble! They are terrible at lying yet everybody falls for their lies. Dicky used to be my favorite character until I found out about the actor that plays him. Mace Cornel (Dicky) and Casey Simpson (Ricky) were bullying Lizzy Greene (Dawn) to the point where she started crying between scenes. I like Anne and Nicky the best. I don't like Tom because he is unsupportive of his wife. He is also annoying and always acts like a child. It's a good show! It just has a lot of plot holes.

This show is amazing! I love how it connects to the other child's play movies! It keeps the same actors in the series, too! I was excited about Kyle's return! Jennifer and Fiona were great in this show. I am excited for season two!

Pretty Creepy!
5 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was scary and left me wondering what was going to happen next. I liked how it made you wonder who the thirteenth ghost was. It was really fun to watch especially if you like horror movies just like me. I don't usually get scared by movies but this one creeped me out a bit.

Why such bad reviews?!
5 December 2021
The movie was a good horror flick but I do not understand the hate. I have never watched the original or the other one but I like this one. Usually I don't like remixes. Plus, I like how they added My Chemical Romance in the end credits. :)
