Breaking Bad (2008–2013)

Great show but not iconic

It's surely an amazing storyline, acting, and an interesting show, but i personally think two seasons would have been enough for it.

I think it was waaaay too long, there were so many episodes not useful and it was very obvious that at some time the director was just trying to add random scenes to complete an episode ( example, the fly episode, and many many others)

Again, great show but too long.

I love the landscapes, the direction, the music , the acting . The story is a realistic one, it's not something you haven't seen before, but the artistic side of the movie is not to be missed! Great work

This movie is a wake up call for everyone: so many life lessons, so many quotes that will remain forever in your mind. The acting is amazing, the story, the script, the music. Everything is just perfect 'Get busy living or get busy dying'

Forrest Gump (1994)

Innocent movie

Every Tom Hanks' movie is a masterpiece, But i can understand the negative reviews a little bit. Maybe it's too innocent, it's not an exciting story. I personally thought it was a bit too long, 'monotone', and boring. But still, i was so impressed with the acting and the music .

A historical story in the most magical way: It shows the contrast between the evil events that happened back in WW2 , and music's power that can be life changing sometimes. I'm in love with this movie: Szpilman is definitely someone to admire and be inspired by.

There are some pretty nice lessons you can get from this movie as well: it shows that there are always good people no matter how hard the situation is , and it shows that music is such a powerful and universal language

I saw the reviews before watching it. I decided not to take into consideration the negative ones and i watched it: the ending was predictable since the beginning: i don't think it's a bad movie though, i just think that the problem is the concept has been done sooo many times, and if i wanted to watch a movie with a similar idea, there are so many better ones like shutter island for example. If it was actually something new, i'd give it a 7/10 , but unfortunately i was not so impressed.

Music is the answer

One of the most touching movies ever made. It shows the importance of music in children's education, and in life as well. I like how it tends to show how these young children's behavior can be violent sometimes because they lack parents affection. This movie will definitely make you cry. PS: thank you Bruno Coulais for the amazing music <3

Iconic and unique artist. If you were a fan or not, i am sure you're familiar with most of her songs. Such a sad story, beautifully done by amazing actors. You'll be singing along the whole time.

First of all, the choice of characters is just amazing! Each one is just the actor needed for the role. It's an incredible tv series, you will not ever be able to watch just one episode. It's hilarious how it makes you see how things happen in prison ( = in Life as well ) Must watch.

Leap Year (2010)

I just saw the reviews and I honestly do not agree with the bad ones. I think it's a really nice romantic comedy, suitable for all ages: i'd say it's a light movie P.S : you will fall in love with Ireland and might consider planning to go there ( beautiful landscapes, music, people..)

It's obvious that we've all heard about the movie, loved the music, became familiar with the actress's' face even before watching the movie in some cases. But I personally think that's it is an overrated movie. It's super artistic, very light and meaningful, but it's a bit too 'slow' and you might find boring.

I loved everything about this movie. The story, the acting and the way it made me feel and think. It can be confusing sometimes, and you might still need some answers once it's done but overall i would rate it as a must see movie. Great job!

Such a touching movie. Made me laugh and cry, and most importantly made me see life from a different perspective. 'Sometimes bad things happen , and it's not anyone's fault' , life just keeps going... Beautiful and inspiring story of our everyday life. Great job!

This is definitely the best movie i have ever watched. Full of messages, so powerful and so deep. Might be disturbing at some point but you definitely have to finish it. The ending is left somehow open, each one can think of it the way he wants. It's the movie that ends and leaves you thinking about everything going in the world around you. Wow!
