Tale of Tales (2015)

Encrypted stories, a much deeper film than it seems at first glance

Very cool movie! It is right that it is encrypted, we cannot limit ourselves strictly to what we see, we have to go with our minds and decipher what the author wanted to say.

For example. In the first story, the one with the queen who wants a child at all costs, we are told that whenever we want in life in addition to what life normally offers us, we can get it, but with a "price" that can sometimes be very, very high, so when we want something, we should think carefully to see if we are willing and especially how much we are willing to pay for what we want.

In the same story, we are also presented with black magic rituals, the pact with the Devil (that is, the sale of the soul) that many make to get what they want... and there are other ideas transmitted.

I leave it to you who will see this wonderful film to decipher the other messages in the following two stories.

One of the most beautiful love movies I've ever seen.

A deep film whose central theme is love for ourselves and love for those around us.

Everything in this wonderful film revolves around LOVE. So for those who are sensitive souls and value love, this film will prove to be soul food.

I wonder how such an exceptional film, which does not have the slightest trace of aggression in the way it deals with all the problems of life, including the problem of cheating on the life partner, can receive a grade of 1, 2, 3.. ..what kind of people are those who give such grades?

As I said, the film is exceptional both in terms of the way the extremely charismatic actors played their roles, as well as in terms of the completely atypical scenario, the sparkling dialogues, the way it was directed, the places full of the spiritual charge where the action takes place, everything is superlative.

It would be wonderful if we had more films like this. Honestly, I can't wait to see it again.... I, who generally don't see films again....except the exceptional ones.

Through My Window (2022)

A big waste of time!

A superficial film. A film about nothing... a film about some young people with ready money who are trying their best to spend their rich parents' money. It is a film that domesticates instead of educating, a film in which young people have total independence, adults only giving them money and otherwise leaving them to manage a series of life problems by themselves.

A big waste of time to watch this movie. The actors played well, but the direction, the script, the dialogues are extremely bad!

Lately, American movies are increasingly weak, more devoid of content but more violent than ever.

I don't think it's about the lack of inspiration, but rather about the desire to subconsciously induce negative feelings, negative moods.

Thirteen Lives (2022)

A great, great, Oscar movie!

A disturbing film, about the huge effort made by some people and the risks they took to save children from certain death.

A film that keeps you in suspense from the beginning to the end, a bright film that shows that we humans are capable of great things.

There are so many moments of maximum tension, there are so many emotional moments to the point of tears, there are so many unforeseen situations, and the solution by which the children were saved is brilliant.

The main actors are first class and play impeccably, but also the rest of the mostly Asian actors play extremely convincingly so that you get the feeling that everything is real.

No one should miss such a movie.

A film about the life of cyclists. You will find out quite a few behind the scenes of this sport, things that one of them surprised me ... in what way, I will not divulge to you.

The film is very well thought out, realistic, extraordinarily played, the action does not stagnate at any moment ... worth seeing!

Wild Mountain Thyme (2020)

A pretty weak love movie. Original but devoid of imagination, in which the characters have a certain charm but are theatrical and the communication between them even if it abounds is quite strange and unusual. The whole movie revolves around the idea that the girls and the boy, who are neighbors and friends from a young age, would get married but this is delayed due to the boy who is insecure about him and quite soft ... In the end things he also moves on the initiative of the girl who is exactly the opposite, full of confidence and courage.

Unfortunately, the film has many "dead times", many boring moments, many weak dialogues, devoid of substance ... for all this, grade 6 seems to me to be high enough.

The biographical film Sarlatan is good, it is worth seeing because it describes the life and destiny of an interesting and controversial character. The life of the main character is totally atypical and includes both good and evil. On the one hand he was completely dedicated to the work of a healer, treating 200 people a day of all kinds of diseases, on the other hand he was a sadomasochist, with accents of madness when torturing and killing animals or when self-mutilating or with accents of murderer when he proposes to the man he lived with to kill his unborn child... A person with extraordinary abilities but also with an obvious mental and emotional imbalance. It bothered me that the film did not show clearly what was the situation of the character towards the end of his life, namely the fact that he was sentenced to 5 years in prison and not killed and that after his release he did not deal with healing.

I wanted to see a comedy movie and I came across this movie. Reading reviews I was a little sad because most of them are very critical and practically destroy the film. However, seeing the trailer, I decided to watch this movie anyway and I did well. It is true it is an easy film, it is not with who knows what depths, suspense or riddles. But how deep are the comedies? The comedy genre is based on a funny situation, and this film focuses on such a situation and a frothy dialogue and the film has many clever and funny lines. In addition, it is an airy, clean film, it exudes a certain purity, candor, tenderness, it talks about beautiful feelings and leaves you in a good mood! The actors are young and beautiful, the frames are elegant and vivid, everything takes place in a note of optimism or we need to charge with optimism. It may not be a top ten film, but it is certainly a much better comedy than many other American comedies, and I gave it ten to balance the scales, precisely because many discredited it for no reason, giving it undeserved low marks.

A very interesting film because it treats in a unique way the creation of a soul connection between the 2 main characters, the perfumer and the driver. I found out totally new and unusual things for a movie about the world of smells. A human film, full of emotions, feelings, a film in which nothing false, nothing exaggerated intervenes. The actors play excellently and the action is very well developed throughout the film so that you don't get bored for a moment

Promising Young Woman (2020)

The film is very good for the thriller genre. It is dark even if the humor is also present during the narration. I will not give details from the film to keep the suspense that is also present throughout. It is about the abuse that many men exert on women, about the consequences of this abuse, it is about the feeling of guilt and its lack, about where revenge can lead, about the lack of humanity and the falsity that surrounds us.

We talk about the fact that we are co-creators of reality, about our free will, about the choices we make and about the fact that destiny can be influenced by the way we choose to think and act. That is why the film draws our attention to the fact that it is vital to always choose to think positively !!! (this is how the movie ends) It is a very clever and very well played movie. 10 points with congratulation!!!

It is about life that sometimes holds surprises for us, about what it means to be different and unacceptable, about love and the sufferings that its lack brings, compassion, about the love of animals, about regrets, forgiveness, acceptance ... So it is a bright film that works with positive emotions and creates a good mood!

A film about a family of crazy people, of losers, who have no perspective in life. Some characters whose life takes place at the most basic level, who care only about themselves and who have gone through life in vain. The movie is depressing and pathetic!
