Saw with no high hopes. Panned as expected in a Potboiler film. Old decrepit superhero still pack a punch. Rajni has a weird grin in movie.....dunno to convey menace or charm.... But creepy. Only likeable part was Kavala song and Tamannah's Gyrations. Villain is a caricature....guest appearances are for their fan bases and to get seetis and whistles. Yogi Babu plays hs usual comedic character, women dont have much of a role. Entire film is on Rajni's shoulders and his fan base is enormous looking at film's status as a superhit.

No offence but it is A Tatti film in same league as Salman's Tiger, Shah Rukh's Jawan etc. And maker wants to do a sequel soon.....GOD SAVE DISCERNING MOVIEGOERS!!!!

Ghoomer (2023)

Such an absurd storyline. The coach is a boorish rigid foul mouthed person who drives roughshod over the heroine just so she overcomes her handicap to bowl like a spin whiz. Oh.....and he was responsible as well for her condition. Single Handedly she makes an entry in National team no less without trials in state team or local league etc. A doormat of a Boyfriend, Famous Fathers of the 2 lead heroes make an appearance to boost their kids film. Shabana plays a Cricket Mad GrandMom who dotes on heroine. A transexual gets a meaty supporting role. No outstanding acting performances. Like I said.....it is a fantasy tale but not memorable . Better watches are Iqbal or Lagaan .

Watched this series. Disappointed....not in league of The family man or Special Ops. Too many loopholes and loose script. Pity.......Season 2 is better avoided. I certainly won't be awaiting the next instalment.

Atypical Vidyut Jamwal movie. Man doesn't do much action in this movie and that's his main USP. Wasted 3 hrs of my life. Hogwash script and acting.

Could not see beyond ep 1. Most women certainly aren't obsessed with sex drinking drugs et al as depicted on this show. Made by Pritish Nandy Productions who don't have a great track record of making memorable films. In one word.......AVOID!!!!!!

Terrible Horror series!!!!

Saw with some expectation as Blumhouse productions were involved. But script lets the series and actors down. Similar story attempted with Ghoul 2 years ago, which was also meh. The Ramsey's would have done a better job considering Horror is their Department. Hope they don't make any further seasons. Don't waste time on this, better to watch PaatalLok instead.

Want to see a movie which is pure adrenaline and action?? Then this is it.....gun fights galore with hand to hand combat as well. Chris does a good job in making a no holds barred action movie ( he is one of the producers ). Nice to see Randeep Hooda in a meaty supporting role. Golshifteh is a beautiful woman.....wish we see her on screen more. The villains were caricatures. Dhaka is shown as an urban slum which may offend those from Bangladesh. But for pure action film junkies this hits the spot.

Super 30 (2019)

Second half not so Super!!!

1st half starts off well. Brilliant student could not go abroad due to poverty. Starts coaching at an elite institute and starts to make money. Gets an attack of guilt seeing poor students unable to afford coaching and decides to give up everything to teach only the poor. Now starts the cliches of Hindi films......he picks 30 students who can't speak English well ,are dirt poor but become smart enough to invent a projector and generate their own electricity!!!! Then there is a horrendous Sholay skit that makes you cringe. At the climax they battle armed goons using their wits and win. Hrithik has browned his typical fair skin to look like a Bihari but it looks artificial just like a fair and lovely ad. Pankaj Tripathi and Aditya Srivastav act well in their limited roles. Mrunal Thakur has little much to do. Only for die hard Hrithik fans ........who seem to have given glowing reviews on IMDb!!!!!

Greed of Corporate Movie Companies can ruin even Classics. Out of nowhere, they resurrected Emperor Palpatine!!! For Gods sake, he was killed off in Return of the Jedi. Then, they make Rey a grandchild of Palpatine!!! Other glaring contradictions were, Kylo Ren was good, turned bad, again became good. Rey dies and Kylo who survived the final battle with Palpatine gives his life force to her. Was like a Ping Pong game. Chewbacca was supposedly killed in the Trooper ship, But no....he was supposedly in another one. So wat the hell was pointed out then to Rey??!! The rebel alliance comes in to save the day at the very last minute as in all the previous films. Hoorayyyy......but was a feeling of Deja Vu. A few additional characters who were not given enough screen time as already script was overloaded. Disney says it is the end of Star Wars saga......but as I said Corporate greed knows no bounds. Sure to be a spin off on Palpatine family and continuing saga of Rey. Little wonder it dint perform to expectation at box office.

Psycho (I) (2020)

a Big Letdown

Director Myskkin is a noted Tamil Director of Thrillers. So being a Fan of Crime genre, I saw this movie with great expectation. So there is a killer of Women who gets off on hacking their heads. A blind Hero ( Pathetic Actor), a kidnapped Heroine ( Aditi looks pretty, but that's about it, acting was nothing great), A bad tempered Nithya Menon as a quadriplegic Cop who assists the hero and irritating sidekicks. The cops were reduced to incompetent people in the movie. The villain's reason for killing the victims was not very convincing. Wasted my time watching this movie. Myskkin needs to tighten his script sense before making his next venture.

Judgementall Hai Kya (2019)

Intelligent Suspense!!!

One of the best suspense thrillers from Bollywood in recent times. brilliant act by Kangana......good support by Rajkumar Rao. Movie is ahead of its times and will be a cult classic in future. Dint do well in theatrical run as audience for such moves is niche. but hats off to Ekta Kapoor for producing such gems. hope we get more such movies in future.
