American Psycho (2000)
Thankfully not much like the book
The book was hideous and I failed to see how it would be made into a movie , they have the bare basics but it's a completely different story in relation to sheer upsetting nastiness , and that's a good thing in my honest opinion ,
though a relief it's a tad boring but Christian Bale plays it well enough and does a good job portraying a psychopath .
Also makes me feel people should watch out more , do we really know people , I'm sure there's more people like Patrick Bateman out there than we will ever realise ,so in a way it's very good to be reminded of this .
Not a brilliant movie but ok and much better than I thought it would be considering .
The Wicker Man (2006)
Not great but not as bad as many say
It's a remake , as we all know most remakes are rarely as good as the original , but as a stand alone film it's ok , I feel this has tried to explain the islanders creepy ways in much more detail as too what's going on ,as you approach the inevitable ending,
It's still got the horrific ending where it makes you want to avoid all villages and strange people though I saw this on Amazon prime and they'd cut the torture scene which I watched after on YouTube , with this scene in it's even more horrific ,and stops cage sounding like he's in an Austin powers movie !
Don't cut movies prime ! Turn it into an 18 instead of a 12 I don't need these people policing my movie choice !
The end goes on to enlighten you how these crazies are still at it ! I've said it before avoid creepy villages !
If you watch without knowing the original it might be a better watch , also I did like the fact the missing child's last name is Woodward ,and the main character is called Edward , a nice tribute to Edward Woodward who's starred in the original .
Fall (2022)
Too long really for too little content
It was watchable, but not enough content and to be honest you didn't really care enough about the characters,
only thing in it for me was Jeffrey dean morgan ( always a good performance from him and he's hot too) , which to be honest was the only reason I watched it , though I was intrigued as to how they would make this pan out to be a 107 minute movie ,
I feel it was a bit lacking ,but a few twists at the end in a couple of ways but one of the twists I'd already figured out because they made point of showing the same trick at the beginning of the movie , didn't show how it all actually panned out at the end but just cut to the end scene .
The Mist (2007)
Brilliant and upsetting but still a great ride
This movie has everything, horror ,drama , sadness, great from beginning to end , I guess you come away with "if only they'd not given up" a lesson to us all
, thanks to the darabont ending , which he altered from the original Stephen king ending .
The Banana Splits Movie (2019)

Entertaining Mr Sloane (1970)
Who knew Peter mcEnery was so gorgeous
Odd quirky quite sexual but then the 70s was a time of such things
Interesting watch
Kate & Koji (2020)

Nice comedy ,enjoyable performances from the cast , not canned laughter , it is filmed in front of a live studio audience
