Hilariously funny look at an American Dysfunctional Family
6 December 2004
This was one of the best stand up routines I have ever seen. I put this up there with the best of Robin Williams and George Carlon stage performances. This routine was an extremely funny look at the dysfunctional life of Christopher Titus and his family. It even opens one's eyes to how most American families are dysfunctional these days and how being abnormal is normal. This routine was the basis for the TV show that was on for 2 seasons on FOX television that unfortunately was taken off of the air. I only hope that they put this Normal Rockwell is Bleeding on DVD, it would be a must have! I laughed so hard it made me fall out of my chair and gave me a headache. 10/10!

Grass growing is more entertaining!
6 August 2003
I am a very well educated and tolerant man and father. I feel that is necessary to say before my comment on the movie. I don't want those pseudo-intellectuals summing up my feelings on this movie by saying that I am just an uneducated bumpkin. With that being said....I sat on my front lawn yesterday and watched my grass grow for a few moments and I found that more fascinating and entertaining than this movie. I feel for those that are discriminated against and I think that it is a tragedy that people suffer as they do for the color of their skin or the type of religion they choose to worship. However, that does not excuse this movie. I have made a real effort not once, but twice to watch this movie and I have to admit I have yet to see the whole thing! I would never recommend this movie to anyone unless they were suffering from insomnia. This movie would put even the worst insomniac to sleep in no time! I am considering showing this movie to my pre-teen that never likes to go to sleep so that I can get her to sleep by her bed time.

Well Done!
18 December 2002
This movie was well done! Though it differs from the book, the flow was just right and I believe that it conveys its message well. I liked the Battle of Helms Deep the best! The mood of this film is much darker than the first one, as it should be. It depicts a dark road ahead, but there is still hope. Bravo! 10 out of 10.

Better than expected.
17 June 2001
This movie was better than I expected. I believe that the critics were unusually harsh with this and have not given this movie a fair shake. I greatly enjoyed the special effects which were above average, including the dragons which were very well done.
