This one was cool.
23 December 1999
This performance was a really good one, but why open with "So What"???? Killer tune, but most new fans would not know it is a cover. Only three covers in the entire vid, but the energy level was at a low ebb. Live S*%t: Binge and Purge Seattle tape was a much better, if not the best performance ever filmed. As of this writing I have not seen all of S&M vid. Metallica has really come a long way since "Kill'Em All" in '83, but they have really stopped advancing and started copying other styles.

Metallica should quit before they alienate all the original fans, like me. Or remember what they started out to do. Awaiting Live S*%t on DVD

Ranting on Chris Gaines
4 December 1999
The "Chris Gaines Project" has been an eye and ear opener for everyone. Garth really shows his vocal range and writing talent. This album is an Excellent piece of work, and the Doumentary is a really engrosing film. I very much enjoyed watching this and was very surprised by Garth's acting ability. I am eagerly awaiting "The Lamb" but at last check, Paramount was none too thrilled to give the film the go ahead. Dismal sales of the CD and lackluster support from the public may kill this project before it has a chance to even be filmed. 4 out of 5

The Day After (1983 TV Movie)
Nuclear Holocaust and Jason Robards
4 December 1999
This film is the definitive Nuclear Holocaust film. I have a copy of it, and watch it every now and then. I don't suggest anyone under 14 should see it, as it a a very dark film. Excellent writing, and acting, but the Nuclear detonations could have been done better even back then. Ever hear of a blue screen shot? I guess this is the closest to "Alas Babylon" we will ever get. I wonder if they will do a 20th thingy for the film?

Awaiting the next Nuke movie...

See this Film before video!!!
30 November 1999
I have NEVER Sees that good of acting from Kevin before. This film is one of the top films of this year, and the Academy is going to overlook it because it is classified as a horror. I cannot even compare this film to any I have seen before, as it has a life of its own. "Sixth Sence" was a laudable film from the start of pre-production. I have actually heard that this film entered production first, but somehow got "lost" during editing. How convienient. 5 out of 5
