The Mind of the Married Man (2001–2002)

This is supposed to be funny?

After several episodes, I've yet to find a single bit of this funny. The situations that the lead character gets himself into are his own fault - which could be easily avoided if he would be honest and just communicate with his wife. It's hard to have any type of sympathy for him and at times it's hard to like him.

This is probably more for bachelors and college kids that haven't learned what makes a lasting relationship.

I watched Farscape for 44 episodes.. waiting for it to be interesting. I finally gave up.

I really don't see the appeal this series has. It acts like it wants to be a serious show. It fails. It acts like it wants to be an arc show. It fails. I've heard others say "oh it's not serious, it's funny". When? Where?

Battlefield Earth (2000)

Much maligned film

I'm not quite sure why this movie is despised by so many, perhaps because of Hubbard's Scientology stuff. Battlefield Earth, of course, has nothing to do with Scientology, it is what it is.

The novel and the movie are both, in all honesty, simply a 50s style space opera. It's not supposed to be deep, it's not supposed to be realistic even, it's just supposed to be fun. And it is.

Wing Commander (1999)

This movie sucks.

This movie is pathetic, I can't believe Chris Roberts had anything to do with it.

The Kilrathi ships have world war 2 sound effects! The acting is awful! The characterizations are *WAY OFF*

The new all CG series adapting the Robert Heinlein novel has finally got it right! After a complete failure (the 1989 Japanese anime attempt), a partial success (the 1997 motion picture) we can finally really get into the story of Johnny Rico and the others.

If you didn't like the movie's adaption, or liked the movie but want the *rest* of the story - check your local listings!

The Fifth Element (1997)

A fun action-packed adventure!

This movie is a roller coaster ride of action and adventure with a side order of comedy. This is just one hell of a good entertaining movie that doesn't take itself too seriously.
