Well done

Warning: Spoilers
I was disappointed that Daniel Lissing wanted out of the show, but I think they did a good job writing him out. No one else could of played Jack. Elizabeth being pregnant was a nice touch. Life is hard and not always happy. A nice family show. I still love it and look forward to season 6 .

Whoa

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the best episodes of the series, although it took me several viewings to honestly reach that conclusion. From the very beginning when it opens with the time frame at the bottom of the screen, I knew viewers were in for it. The very next scene, in the cemetery, felt almost like a physical gut punch. That scene and flashback to the burial were achingly beautiful. The progression of grief is palpable, enhanced by every aspect including hair, makeup, and wardrobe. I didn't care for the ending when I first saw it (so much pain, so much work, so.many.single.mothers.) but on subsequent viewings, once I had time to process, I see that it was extremely well acted, and applaud literally everyone involved.

Took time and multiple viewings to appreciate what was done

Warning: Spoilers
As sad as i am that Dan Lissing has left the show, the writers did what they had to do. Dan and Erin have amazing chemistry and to recast Jack wouldnt have dont the character justice. Erin did an amzing job in this episode as did the rest of the cast. Looking forward to see what Season 6 brings for Elizabeth and baby Thornton.

5 years of perfect love story ruined

Warning: Spoilers
I loved this show. I loved the love story between Elizabeth and Jack. So this was simply to painful an episode for me to watch. After long 5 years our beloved couple finally tied the nods, only to be ripped apart right afterwards. I kept thinking "you are not doing this to me! Not Jack!" hoping it would be a bad joke. Even though I love many of the other characters. To me the show was all about the Elizabeth/jack romance. Without them (both) the show, like Jack, is now dead to me. If Erin or Daniel don't want to be in the show I would have preferred they ended it. Happily. I was watching the show because it's sweet. Happy. And romantic. They just made very dark and sad. If your are okay with Jack dying. Watch it. The actor are still doing an amazing job.

Let down by the writers Warning: Spoilers
After 5 years, of watching this love blossom, a magical engagement, spectacular wedding where you are on this emotional high, and then to send you to the depths of despair, was awful, and not what we look for from Hallmark, it hurts their brand in my eyes.
