Loved this Episode

I totally forgot, while watching, that this is an animated (movie/ film/ episode whatever). I had to hold back tears / emotion at the end. Beautiful. stunning; georg... and danmi.. have described it much better than I can. But yes- this is what the saga is all about. Action!, Emotion, Heroism, and a solid entertaining story. Thank you Cast & Crew! Keep up the good work. Who needs the big screen? Or maybe an animated movie for it?

Amazing end to a great Star Wars story
darthstif1 April 2018
Warning: Spoilers
As with Rogue One, it's important to remember that so many story's exist within the Star Wars universe. The whole series was beautifully scripted and Rebels is a story of growth from the innocence of Ezra in Season 1 to his fulfilment of his Jedis journey and the loss of his master in season 4.

A beautiful ending that leaves a chance of more stories from these characters and perhaps the truth behind the character DJ from the last Jedi and those similar scars.

As good as the first original trilogy
Incredible ending for this series. It started not so good, a lot more childish than Clone Wars, but this ending arc was amazing. Get the guy who took care of the Rebels and Clone wars to take care also of the big screen ones. Amazing characters, crying at the end of the both series while the new big screen ones had no emotion and so poor character development. Even the secondary characters were better created than any of the big screen ones.

I am so happy for the window left opened at this ending. It could make an amazing return to see Ashoka and Sabine working together. Also Hera, Zeb and Rex are such amazing characters. Seeing them on the big screen would be huge, but I am happy also to see a new series. :)

Fantastic

When The Clone Wars ended, I was upset and disappointed, I was unsure whether to watch the Rebels series or not, but I decided to give it a go. It took a while, but this series has grown on me, the show is well written, the characters are unique and interesting and if you like Ahsoka Tano, you won't be disappointed, as she makes a return in Rebels. The last season is far from perfect, but there is more than one brilliant episode, with moments that pull on the heartstrings.

In my opinion, the finale is simply fantastic and I can happily say, it's as good as anything that The Clone Wars had to offer and it puts The Last Jedi to shame comfortably. Actually, I'm kind of disappointed that the Clone Wars is returning and we won't get a spin off of this particular series. I hope that one day a series is created, where we get to see new adventures featuring a grown up Ezra, potentially alongside Ahsoka.

Holy wow.

I started Clone Wars spring 2020. I begrudgingly started this series after Clone Wars ended. I was hooked nearly right from the start. These animated heroes are just as real and dynamic. The final season, the series finale. Just wow. I don't have words right now, just emotions. Very well done cast and crew!

This is how a Star Wars Movie should be
george-bungarzescu6 March 2018
When first Star Wars Rebels came out, i did not believed there is so much in it. I was skeptic about how the script will fix things and sometimes i was intrigued about how the writer will explain all about. At the end, there will be light. I believe it is the best and closest sw script to originals. I cried at the end. Good Job.

"Family Reunion - and Farewell"
lassegalsgaard2 April 2020
As good this series ever was, it finished off with a great finale. Bringing all the emotions to the forefront in an episode that carries all the weight of the best "Star Wars" films, while also bringing the action and character development that we've come to expect. This was Ezra's finest hour, and the episode where he really showed that he was a Jedi. The big action sequence brought a lot of satisfying conclusions to the series, and a lot of characters had some great moments to shine. The Emperor was brought back for a last stand with Ezra, and even though it wasn't a huge fight, it was an emotional conflict that is a great example of "Star Wars" at its best. The ending brings a lot of the characters into the lore once and for all, setting their places in the history in stone. The only thing about the episode is that some dialogue indicates that there are still surviving Jedi out there, even though that contradicts a lot of the thíngs in the original trilogy. Other than that, this was a perfect finale for a series that couldn't have landed better than it did. Truly a great piece of "Star Wars" history.

I love this show. I love every other Star Wars show. Well, how can i describe this episode? All i can say without spoiling is that this is legendary. My favorite part was the last 3 minutes. I had hoped to see more of Thrawn and Ezra confrontation, where there was a battle between them. But no, it didn't really matter because every other part is excellent. Thank you, Dave. I honestly thought that i'd just forget this entire show after watching the whole seasons once. But i was wrong. I can't even get the thoughts out of my mind about this. It's stuck in here like Clone Wars. And i'm glad it is.

Now, about the characters. My favorite is Kanan. He didn't deserve to...,you know. He was the "Obi-wan" in this show. Then Hera, her leadership is admirable and she is a great pilot. The major part of Rebellion in the show. Then Ezra, Sabine and Zeb along with Chopper. Ezra had a great character development throughout the series. I love his character too. Sabine is a great warrior which she proves in certain episodes with the help of Kanan's training. Zeb, he is one of the best because he brings joy and fun along with everything. Chopper, Dave's character is exceptional. One of the best Astro-mech i've ever seen. He is hilarious but at the same time caring even though he acts like he don't. And truly loyal to Hera. love 'em. I love them all. Every single one of 'em. And not just them, but the show and Star wars franchise too.

The force will be with you, always

Warning: Spoilers
I don't know that I could have asked for a much better series finale! I think it's great that Clone Wars ended up getting a final season, and that finale was amazing, but I also think it's cool that this show ended up getting a finale instead of a cancellation, and it was a really great show!

As for this episode specifically? Really, really good. Seeing Ezra strategically plan and outsmart Thrawn was really satisfying and, in all actuality, maybe the only way to defeat Thrawn. While I prefer the Thrawn in Zahn's Heir to the Empire trilogy, I enjoyed this one too. Rukh's end tho😳

The action in this whole season has been really exhilarating. It still was here. I loved seeing the different groups of rebels and Ghost crew in Lothal doing different things and eventually suffering some loss here and there. I cried a bit when Gregor died and was very surprised Ezra ended up leaving! Seeing Hera with a son all hit me right in the freakin' feels, as did Kallus getting to visit Lasan.

Honestly, this couldn't have been a better finale. Everyone got a really satisfying ending, including Ezra, who really IS a Jedi now. I do not know when Ezra or Thrawn will return, but I cannot wait to see that. The possibilities for both of their futures are endless... this was beautifully done. I'm glad I got to watch this show.

This season was perhaps the most tonally consistent, in character development as well. The show as a whole was definitely watching. The quality rarely dipped for me, and even when it did, it wasn't that bad. I'm very excited for more of whatever Dave Filoni has in store for the die-hards.

Awesome.

Awesome Finale
michl_away24 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I watched this after the Mandalorian. The series had many skippable episodes, but the ones fitting in the great scheme of things were very good.

Still, this episode has some flaws the series had. Stormtroopers didn't hit a thing - not even immobilized targets - a lot of deus ex machina- I think I would have liked it much more if more rebels than just Gregor had died, just like in Rogue One.

Im quite eager to see what they'll do with Ezra now - but I hope I won't have to endure much more of Zeb and Hondo. I don't think this animated series even needed any comic relief beyond chopper.

I always try to remember that this is a kids show and should be treated as such. But man I lost It when the imperials where shooting the augnat through the window and couldn't hit the immobilized Ezra. Anyway finally its over. The entire series is skipable. Just read a synopsis if you want to not miss any "important" parts

Well, the final episode!
charliehope-553815 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I mean, Wow! This is one of the best episodes in Star Wars: Rebels! I really enjoyed this episode and it's one of the best series I ever watched! This is one of my favourite episodes so far! I'm really going to miss watching it! I love the hologram of younger version Palpatine manipulating Ezra and turned into the older version of Emperor Palpatine and he ordered his guards to kill Ezra! It's just Whoah! That's amazing! I think it would have been better if Palpatine Force chokes Ezra and orders his stormtroopers for attempt to kill Ezra. I love the final battle, it was intense. I love this episode! Full much of enjoyment!

Great episode, great show
rickweerstand18 March 2024
I realise now I should have watched Rebels before watching Ahsoka. Eventhough I really enjoyed Ahsoka, I didn't have a connection with the characters (Sabine and Hera mostly) and location because I hadn't seen them before. This show was amazing and I didn't expect it to reach the same levels as Clone Wars but it did, maybe even exceeded it at some points. All the characters developed great throughout the show and it connected really well to the big screen movies. I thoroughly enjoyed the details/effort Dave and co. Managed to put into this show. From the emotional rollercoasters, funny and cool moments all the way to the references to previous Star Wars characters and movies!

Terrible season and spectacularly disappointing finale
garcapolis11 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A season of terribly written filler, filled with magical wolves, time travel, and finishing it off with a little Deus ex space whale. And of course what would a filler finale be without featuring Honda, the Rebels king of inane comedy filler. This entire season was terrible and the finale is massively overrated. This show had so much more potential.
