A swift descent into chaos
DVD_Connoisseur31 December 2018
"The Last Nice Guy" sees proceedings take a turn for the worse for one of the main characters.

Penn Badgley's Joe somehow remains a sympathetic character despite his deep psychological issues. There's a sense that he's on the brink of going "full Dexter Morgan".

Elizabeth Lail's character is complex and believable.

Riveting.

YOU - Episode 2
djrocky13 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
It's starting to get interesting as we start to see that Beck is not as innocent as she seems. This soon changes and things start to become more clear between the characters.

Joe's relationship with Paco is always great to see. The start with the Frankenstein book was a nice touch. Beck is starting to become more interesting but Peach is boring me to tears. Some of the dialogue from the female cast just sounds cliche and it's starting to become too repetitive.

However, I can't say the episode is bad. It's an episode that really starts to develop on the characters and relationships. The friends of Becks are annoying but that is the way it is supposed to be. Doesn't change the fact that the writing and dialogue for them is obnoxious and so fake.

The exploration of Benj and Joe's feud is starting to develop with more interesting interactions. But the main problem are the now present plot holes. Example: Somehow Becks calls Joe on his phone even though they never exchanged numbers. Doesn't make sense and ruins the immersion.

Overall, I liked the episode but it could've been so much better. The sooner we stop seeing the friends of Becks, the better!

The second episode has developed the story a lot.

You Season 1 Episode 2

Review : In reviewing the second episode, I would like to say that the story has developed a lot in this episode. There are many things to say that are good enough. There are many more reasons behind saying that the second episode is good enough as a viewer, which I have discussed below.

Acting : The level of acting in this episode is very high like in the previous episode, all his performances are good enough here and every actor-actress has judged their character enough.

Direction : The director has done his job fairly well and well enough.

Story and Dialogue : Speaking of the story of the episode, it must be said that the epithelium started with the end of the previous episode, which in a word can be said to be a great beginning. This is a love story that the lover has to do a lot to complete the love, even murder. The story of the episode has enough important elements Which I liked enough with the audience. This episode is about a friendship that we don't really understand the real secret of friendship. All in all, the story in this episode is good enough, interesting enough and full of enough thrills. I would like to thank the authors of this episode very much for writing such a story. When it comes to dialogue, it must be said that dialogue is quite dependent and passionate. The dialogue writer has worked hard enough to write the dialogue and the result is completely behind the scenes.

Soundtrack and Background score : No soundtrack was used on this subject and the background sky is high enough good enough and intense.

Cinematography and Editing : Both the cinematography and the editing are good enough and of a high enough quality in this episode.

Other Departments : The lighting, vfx and the place or location where the shooting was done are also good enough.

Overall Episode : Judging by all, I gave this episode eight out of ten stars.

Thanks so much for reading my review.

And so on...

Warning: Spoilers
Now we have a past girlfriend disappearing and a violent outburst and a murder, definitely similar to "Dexter." Once this Beck's been characterized though it has to go somewhere else or have a twist or something, otherwise it's going to be stuck in a rut. The episode's fine, Benji seemed right about her taking him to the party though.

Beck tells her friends that it looks like she might have to sleep with her prof. The girls say it is a rite of passage in grad school and one of them slept with her biology professor.

Beck meets the prof at a bar wearing red lipstick. The prof begins to touch and go up her thigh. She stands up and stops him. The prof says she was brazenly flirting with him - the sheer clothing that he can see her nipples through, the blowjob eyes.

Beck goes to her professor's office and asks him to reconsider. She cannot afford to lose housing that she receives being a TA. Beck closes the door and says it looks like she has no choice then pulls out her phone. She mentions a tweet. She can post that 7 girls have the same story about his professor.
