Trivia

In the second episode, Joe's first line is "Tonight's the night, Beck". This is a nod to Showtime series "Dexter" - which follows the life and crimes of a serial killer who only kills the guilty. See more »

A swift descent into chaos
31 December 2018 | by DVD_ConnoisseurSee all my reviews

"The Last Nice Guy" sees proceedings take a turn for the worse for one of the main characters.

Penn Badgley's Joe somehow remains a sympathetic character despite his deep psychological issues. There's a sense that he's on the brink of going "full Dexter Morgan".

Elizabeth Lail's character is complex and believable.

Riveting.
