Girlfriends Films released this one-off attempt at porn-parody, in which a fine cast overcomes the stupidity of the premise. So far it has not led to follow-ups or a series.
The target is sort of those reality shows that Tim Allen's "Home Improvement" so successfully lampooned. "Odd Jobs with Double A" stars Anikka Albrite and Aaliyah Love, while "Al & Nat" features Alex Chance and Natalia Starr, both concerning home improvement.
The better of the two is the A & A opus, in which tough-girl director Brooklyn Chase and her put-upon assistant Abigail Mac try to get the girls to show up on set and put on the program. Aaliyah and Anikka are addicted to posting pictures on social media, and their followers make them a hit, especially when the show goes live with explicit lesbian sex content.
A running gag has Chase ordering cunnilingus from Mac when ever she becomes stressed, but in their full-scale sex vignette together the tables are turned and Mac becomes dominant.
The other show is something in the vein (by a long stretch) of Ashton Kutcher's "Punk'd" as Natalie and Alex work on remodeling the home of Siri and Gracie Glam, but are really trying to frighten them in the process. This generates two more sex vignettes, heavy on big natural breasts.
It's harmless fun, as mindless as it sounds, but the enthusiasm of this group of Adult actresses for doing comedy mixed in with their sex worker jobs is engaging. At the opening of the DVD we get a montage of various players supposedly on the network, including label honcho Dan O'Connell, Kurt Lockwood, Brooklyn Lee, Aryana Augustine, Candy Girl and Dillion Harper.
