The CW added a 13th original series, “Two Sentence Horror Stories,” to its summer schedule Monday.
The anthology series premieres with back-to-back episodes on Aug. 8, joining 12 other shows in the network’s summer lineup. Episodes of “Two Sentence Horror Stories” will feature Nicole Kang (“Batwoman”), Jim Parrack (“Suicide Squad”) and Aleyse Shannon (“Charmed”).
Per the network, the series is inspired by the viral fan fiction of two sentence horror stories. The CW says, “These contemporary tales of horror and haunting tap into universal primal fears, filtered through the anxieties of the most connected and racially diverse generation. Despite dizzying advancements in technology, inequality, social progress, and environmental degradation… the things that haunt us are still the same.”

Actress Banita Sandhu, who made her debut in Bollywood with the film "October" in 2018, will be seen in Priscilla Quintana starrer "Pandora", a sci-fi action series.
Rounding out the series regular cast are Oliver Dench, Raechelle Banno, John Harlan Kim, Ben Radcliffe, Banita, Martin Bobb-Semple and Noah Huntley. Production is underway in Bulgaria. A premiere date has not yet been set, reports deadline.com.

Korean-Chinese director Zhang Lü (“A Quiet Dream”) is back working with Park Hae-il and Moon So-ri with his latest film “Ode to the Goose”. The film premiered at the Busan International Film Festival this month.
Synopsis
Yoon-yeong has been harboring feelings for Song-hyeon, a friend’s wife. When he finds out that she is divorced, Yoon-yeong and Song-hyeon take a trip to Gunsan on a whim. They find lodging at an inn where the middle-aged owner lives with his autistic daughter who does not leave her room. The four become star crossed lovers in the city of Gunsan. The film could be named “Gunsan,” as it is a film about a specific place, which also explores the world’s hidden, unspoken elements.
“Ode to the Goose” features an all-star cast including Park Hae-il, Moon So-ri as well as Jung Jin-young and Park So-dam as the owner of the inn and his daughter respectively.
