Call of Duty is one of the most popular video game franchises of all time, and while most people will argue that it has fallen off, it still enjoys a sizeable portion of the market for Fps titles. The video game series jumped further up the relevance pyramid after 2019’s Modern Warfare.
GTA 5 is another title that was immensely popular and generated much hype when released. Both titles were relevant even till 2023, but the former beat the latter in a sales metric that may shock many.

Andrew Tate has received hate from popular streamer xQc, a.k.a Félix Lengyel, after the internet personality trolled a female Valorant player online. Recently, streamer Taylor Morgan put the spotlight on a shocking incident where she was explicitly threatened with s*xual assault in a Valorant lobby. In response, Andrew Tate blamed Morgan instead and claimed the solution was to ban “crybaby women” from gaming.

Love it or hate it, it’s hard to deny that Grand Theft Auto VI has been one of the most anticipated video games of the last decade. The first trailer for the long-awaited sequel finally dropped last December, and Take-Two Interactive, the company that owns Rockstar Games, has now set a Fall 2025 release for Grand Theft Auto VI.
“Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI,” Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said. “We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase.” Zelnick wouldn’t specify a more exact release date for Grand Theft Auto VI, telling Variety, “That [announcement] will come from Rockstar and be consistent with the way they are marketing the title.“

Grand Theft Auto VI, the latest installment in the mega-selling video game franchise, will be released in fall 2025, parent company Take-Two Interactive has confirmed.
The release news put a narrower range on the release, which had previously been projected to be sometime in calendar 2025. The update came as Take-Two released better-than-expected earnings. Despite the upbeat financials, the GTA news prompted a mild sell-off in the company’s shares because the game’s release will come after fiscal 2025. Due to the timing, the company lowered its full-year forecasts. Shares fell 3% in after-hours trading to around $142.
“We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase,” Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said.

Video games are more than just merely sources of entertainment. Players have been emotionally attached to video games in ways one could have rarely imagined. And it’s fair enough given the content, elements, characters, lores as well as the experiences that the games offer. This ensures players not only invest their time but also an emotional as well as mental part of themselves.
The death of a character, the betrayal, the unfortunate events, all of these have the ability to break hearts. Similarly, canceled games are something that has bothered gamers for years. After being announced and even trailer releases, there are multiple games that have failed to see the light of the day, crushing the excitement of fans.

Twitch has had its ups and downs this year. It got a new CEO, one who’s putting in a lot more face time with creators, and it’s made some long-asked-for improvements, like introducing more discoverability features and relaxing its simulcast rules. But it’s also made baffling policy decisions that upset streamers and drove measurable traffic to burgeoning competitors like Kick.
Despite that, though, it’s closing out the year with its highest watch numbers so far: In November, people watched 57.5 million hours of stream per day, according to data from Rainmaker.gg included in StreamElements‘ latest State of the Stream report. That’s up from 57.2 million in October, and is the highest amount of daily viewership for Twitch all year.
At the same time, monthly hours watched dropped slightly, going from 1.774 billion in October to 1.727 billion in November.

Rockstar isn’t waiting until tomorrow to reveal Grand Theft Auto VI to the world. Announced in a slick new trailer today (instead of the expected Tuesday 9Am reveal), the next entry in the acclaimed series will arrive in 2025. No platforms have been announced, but you can bet that it’ll be arriving on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
Details on the game are still to come, but we do know that we’re returning to Vice City for this instalment. Though this time, as if the smartphones and Instagram-like Stories weren’t a big enough clue, we’re not in the 80s. We’re also introduced to our protagonists in Lucia and her boyfriend, Jason.
The trailer teases a wide variety of locales and things to do, which for those of us who got lost in the various activities you can do in Grand Theft Auto V, that shouldn’t be a surprise.

Early reviews for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom were glowing, to say the least. However, the praise for the game hasn’t exactly slowed down since the first wave of pre-release reviews was released. Actually, a recent review from a notable source just put Tears of the Kingdom in some rare company.
Recently, Japanese magazine Famitsu gave Tears of the Kingdom a 40/40 score. For those who don’t know, Famitsu is a legendary Japanese publication that assigns four reviewers to major new releases. Each reviewer assigns that new release a review score of 1-10. For a game to achieve a 40/40 score, it has to earn a perfect review score from four reviewers. That’s a pretty rare accomplishment. In fact, it’s only happened 28 times in the magazine’s nearly 40-year history.

San Francisco, Jan 26 (Ians) The payers of Rockstar Games’ popular multiplayer action-adventure game Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online have reported losing game progress, stealing of in-game money and ban from game servers due to an alleged vulnerability in the PC version of the game.

Gaming company Take-Two Interactive has missed earnings expectations in its first report since its acquisition of mobile gaming company Zynga.
Despite higher revenue, Take-Two Interactive swung to a first quarter loss amid economic headwinds for the mobile industry. In the three months ended June 30, the company reported revenue of 1.1 billion, compared to 813.3 million in year-earlier quarter.
Take-Two swung to a first quarter net loss of 104 million, or a loss per share of 76 cents, compared to net income of 152.3 million, or earnings per share of 1.32 last year. Both the revenue and per-share earnings lines came in below Wall Street consensus forecasts.
Take-Two reached an agreement to acquire the mobile gaming company in January 2022 and the deal closed on May 23, meaning Zynga was represented in 39 days of the quarter.
Net bookings reached 1 billion, a 41 percent increase compared to 711.4 million in the previous year’s quarter.
