It was 2015 and it was wild

What a time to be in my early 20s, this song and video dropped and the music world went wild. Adele returned with a gut wrenching song of heartache and this music video perfectly sums it up.

the return

A simple story about the try to reconquest the past. And about the fall of the exercise. Maybe, more significant the director than the lyrics but the feel about a beautiful and high useful collaboration. And a wise image of living in past , hoping to fix altered relations and events.

Hello Adele, next time please better again Warning: Spoilers
"Hello" is a 6-minute short film from autumn last year (2015) and it features Grammy and Oscar winner Adele as it is a music video from the artist and the director here was Xavier Dolan, a filmmaker who is considered among the biggest talents from his age group right now and he is approximately Adele's age, so still a couple years away from 30. Unfortunately, their collaboration here did not turn out to my liking. The song is a bit generic I must say and Adele's voice is good of course as always, but it also is a bit too perfect here and I felt it lacked some distinctive value perhaps. It's tough to put a finger on it, but sometimes flaws can elevate the material and I think this would have been true here too, especially as flaws play a major role in the music video's story. All in all, a thumbs-down. I did not like it as much as previous works by Adele or Dolan.
