A goodbye story for the ages
I'm not sure I can ever forgive Michael for crashing Devon's much anticipated speech, but I guess it was for a good cause. Some good car chases, mediocre acting, and an all too convenient series of events.
Fool's Gold (2008)
Predictable rom com that lacks interest or chemistry. The acting and dialogue were stiff and the storyline lacked any real depth. Beautiful scenery but that's about it for the good.
Nothing notable about this episode, the story was mildly entertaining and the acting expected. Some cool stunts but on the whole wasn't very interesting.
Cars of the future
Decent storyline, but man did they go a little overboard with Liberty Cox and the moonshine twins. The car chase scenes worked well and the acting wasn't too bad.
Knight Rider: Hearts of Stone (1983)
Looking to buy some Nun's
A decent storyline absolutely obliterated by the terrible accent of the main actress, it comes and go and reads as a parody of a southern draw. No one else has a southern accent, why did they single her out?
Knight Rider: Forget Me Not (1982)
Oh Micki you're so fine
Michael Knight takes an actress with amnesia to a pedestrian show and chases a would be assassin in this disjointed episode designed only to prove that the Hoff is irresistible to all women.
Knight Rider: A Plush Ride (1982)
24 hours a day
A well developed storyline and some cool car scenes made for a pretty good episode of knight rider. The acting wasn't too cheesy and there were a few fun moments.
Knight Rider: The Final Verdict (1982)
Tight shirt McGee
I was positively driven to distraction by the goon wearing bell bottoms and tight shirts, did they let him dress himself? Where was wardrobe? Decent storyline and acting.
Knight Rider: Inside Out (1982)
Those stunt doubles
It's the 80s so I know I've got to be a little lenient on the effects, but seriously those were some bad stunt doubles scenes, they straight up showed the face of a totally different person. Decent storyline and car chase scenes.
Knight Rider: Trust Doesn't Rust (1982)
The fact that KITTs evil twin was voiced by the same guy who does Optimus prime is just awesome. A storyline fit for the best of soap operas and just as well acted.
Knight Rider: No Big Thing (1982)
Crime don't pay
Civilian crime fighters fighting against corrupt crime fighters with the help of criminals. Solid premise for the episode, the Hoff helping out his British damsel in distress.
Sorjonen: Muraalimurhat (2021)
Insane in the brain
Some good things happened in this follow up film, like Lena acting like a human being towards Katia and Janina not being an absolute weirdo. But a lot of nonsensical things that stretched the possible just to allow the plot to develop. Decent acting and storyline resolution.
Much like the song it is advertising, this music video exudes an aura of fun. The color and style fit the vibrant nature of Sigala. Fun to see two of the three singers participate.
Not only did this music video reference an iconic movie... the song was also iconic. Cheers to Iggy and Charlie XCX for making one hell of a song that transcends its time. Video somehow fits perfectly.
FOB is back
In case you didn't know, FOB had a fairly significant break, and they just decided to come back in spectacular fashion. Deciding to make their song title long and the meaning deep.
Some us hadn't even seen Pitch Perfect but we somehow knew that this song was a banger. Fresh out of the twilight shadow, we were just to learn what Anna Kendrick could do.
Florida Georgia Line: Cruise (2012)
Perhaps one of the first modern country songs to passover from country to pop, and it does it in fashion. The song and video convey a certain southern charm and laid back nature.
This song never fails to hit me in the feels and the music video only heightens that tendency, which is what a proper music video does... so kudos to pink and Nate for that.
Imagine Dragons: Radioactive (2012)
Great choice for a lead actress, the captivating Alexandra Daddario. However, this gives off major A. I. vibes which fit the song but yet has already been done.
FIDLAR: Cocaine (2013)
Not what I was expecting, and yet exactly what I was expecting when I saw Nick Offerman as the star. Nicky O just peeing around hollywood... something so perfect and yet so demoralizing.
Haim: The Wire (2013)
Haim was a lowkey and relatively unknown band until they busted into the pop scene with an iconic song (and video) with 'The Wire'. To date this song still gives me chills.
Even in 2013 we knew the problematic nature of this song... and yet it didn't stop it from absolutely blowing up. The video does a great job of capturing the innocence of the writers and singers.
OD was #1
It was 2013, 1D was on top of the world, we all thought "they will never break up" but of course we all know what happened there... In all honesty, no song should start at the 2:32 mark of a music video...
Lady Gaga: Applause (2013)
All I seem to remember is that there was a war of sorts between Gaga and Perry because Roar and Applause were released around the same time... I will refrain from saying which side I was on...
Britney Spears: Work Bitch (2013)
Work B marks the return of the modern Britney. As of 2021 lets all let a praise to the lord for the end of Britney's conservation. In 2013 this song was a major vibe.
