Why on Earth did Marc Dorcel, who is still riding high in his 40th year in the biz as such a respected quality label, stoop to "keeping up with the Joneses" via this horrible excursion into Reality Porn? It's difficult to imagine him being jealous of the innumerable amateur outfits involved in webcam-level junk.
But he bankrolled lovely if untalented Lou Charmelle on a trip across the U. S. in search of generic sex to shoot and bring back to France. Nothing on this 2-DVD set (running slightly over 3 hours) is a keeper.
Lou vouchsaves early on her philosophy of porn and it's alarmingly mindless, as is her proud baby of a DVD (she also directed and edited as well as maximizing her own screen time humping away). The new freedom of the internet means a porn actor/sex worker is simultaneously arranging hook-ups (per Lou) under the guise of "creating content", on the order of I'll shoot you for my website if you shoot me for yours, and we'll both enjoy having sex. She even goes so far as to say that this type of quid pro quo sex is the same as sex in one's private life, a dumb notion (or rationalization) that I've not even heard in the crappiest of BTS interviews.
With plenty of IR content, she visits a number of familiar American porn stars to shoot sex scenes in their homes, which may or may not be a peek into the private lairs of Sinn Sage, Jon Jon and others. The sex, often stressing POV-camerawork, is generic and without style, the opposite of what Dorcel otherwise has to offer.
Worst scene is perhaps the one with Sage, where the two ladies perform for Sinn's live webcam show, fulfilling requests of dullards in the audience. So for a reel or two we're supposed to sit through sex-workers aka actresses going through the motions to satisfy some schmoes' fantasies, when we could be immersed in some glamorous Dorcel movie fiction carefully crafted and performed. The inherent contradiction in this ersatz DVD content is appalling - if anyone wants porn by request they would merely log into a live interactive XXX webcast, not buy or stream a Dorcel simulation of same.
Cast in general is lousy, so chalk this up as a disaster.
