Death is inevitable. It happens to the best of us. Even to a Super Dad like Jack Pearson.
That grim truth was first confirmed in the fifth episode of This Is Us, as we learned that the reason that we’d only been seeing the gold-hearted patriarch played convincingly by Milo Ventimiglia in scenes from the past is because he now rests in a golden urn in Kate’s living room, where she watches Steelers games with her father in spirit. After more than a year since first teasing their song “Beneath With Me” on SoundCloud, deadmau5 and Kaskade finally released their latest collaboration at the beginning of the month. Featuring haunting vocals from Skyler Grey and an impressive progressive house production, the song was quick to become a fan favorite and has been hailed as a welcome follow up to the two producer’s previous joint effort “I Remember.” Following up on his excellent “Strobe” remix for mau5trap’s 100th release, Feed Me is now teasing a new “Beneath With Me” rework.
Edm’s favorite green monster debuted his “Beneath With Me” remix during a recent live show, offering up our first taste of what he’s got cooking. Skyler Grey’s vocals open the remix alongside hushed synth chords, leading into a breakbeat driven drop with skittering rhythms and booming bass.

To celebrate their 100th release over the weekend, deadmau5‘s mau5trap label delivered a “Strobe” remix Ep featuring five reworks of the progressive house classic. With remixes from Feed Me, Attlas, Lane 8 and more, the new Ep saw a number of unique productions created from the bones of “Strobe,” and now deadmau5 himself is back to offer up a free download of his own re-imagining of the dancefloor anthem.
Dubbed “ebortS,” deadmau5 takes us on a lengthy journey into a sonic world formed from elements of his 2009 song, while offering up a more drastically altered version than anything present on the remix Ep. Most of the remix focuses on clanking, distorted drum beats crashing together in a trip hop style, while bearing little resemblance to the original release. Midway through, the drums drop out for an ambient breakdown featuring the iconic synths from “Strobe.” The remix then resumes the beat driven section from earlier,...

After teasing something big for their 100th release late last month, Mau5trap has finally released the dedicated “Strobe” remix Ep today, featuring five reworks of deadmau5‘s progressive house classic by Feed Me, Attlas, Lane 8, Com Truise and Dimension.
Feed Me’s previously heard remix kicks off the collection with a hard hitting electro rendition that injects some extra energy into the somber house anthem. Lane 8 keeps the 4×4 vibe going strong with the familiar synth patterns transposed onto a harp like sound as minimal beats keep the song rolling. Attlas comes in strong with a spacey re-imagining with dreamy synths, deep atmospheres and echoing percussion.
Switching things up, Dimension delivers an excellent liquid drum and bass flip of “Strobe,” transforming the original song’s steady four on the floor rhythms into pummeling breakbeats while icy synths ring out the iconic melodies. Com Truise offers up the least recognizable mix,...

Last month, a live video surfaced on social media that depicted Feed Me dropping a re-imagining of deadmau5’s progressive house classic “Strobe” during one of his DJ sets. After a month of anticipation, Edm’s favorite green monster is back as his full remix hits the internet for streaming.
Feed Me’s “Strobe” remix clocks in at a staggering nine and a half minutes and uses its lengthy duration to cover a wide range of sonic terrain. While the original track is known for its downtempo vibes, the new version opts to inject some hard hitting electro while maintaining the familiar synthesizer patterns. After delivering an energetic drop, Feed Me lets the percussion drop away for an emotive breakdown featuring a stark rework of the iconic melodies from the original tune before diving into another house driven section.

There are few tracks from the Edm era that can truly be regarded as classics. In a time where producers churn out disposable music at an alarming rate, it’s become rare for a song to achieve lasting success and manage to grab hold of our ever shorter attention spans in an endless sea of digital releases. With 2009’s “Strobe” however, deadmau5 managed to release one of the most beloved and memorable efforts to come out of the latest wave of electronic music and the song is still highly regarded by fans today.
Jon Gooch has been on a hot streak this year with new releases under both his Feed Me and Spor aliases, including the recently released Family Reunion and Black Eyed EPs. Now, a live video shared by Kill The Noise gives us our first taste of an unreleased “Strobe” remix under the Feed Me project.

Feed Me has released his new Ep Family Reunion today, delivering eight brand new tracks. Jon Gooch, the man behind Feed Me and the drum and bass project Spor, released the first single ahead of the Ep yesterday, sharing a new collaboration titled “What It Feels Like” with singer Nina Nesbitt.
“What It Feels Like” opens softly, driven by Nesbitt’s smoky vocals. Gooch kicks off the production with restraint, enveloping the vocals in dreamy synth progressions and a persistent house pattern. The pace quickly picks up as he works in his signature electro synths and powerful percussion work, building up to an energetic climax. “What It Feels Like” is a strong release that blends subdued pop and kinetic dance floor material into a cohesive whole.
Feed Me never ceases to amaze with his eclectic taste and penchant for strong production values, and this debut single certainly bodes well for Family Reunion.

While Feed Me is the better known Edm project of producer Jon Gooch, his drum and bass alias Spor has been churning out quite a bit of material over the last year and a half. Following up on last year’s seventeen track album Caligo, Gooch will be releasing new Spor material later this week on the forthcoming Black Eyed Ep. To help get fans excited for the impending release, the producer dropped two new tracks this week.
For “Woodruff,” Spor teams up with fellow dnb producer Phace to deliver a massive banger complete with intricate drum programming and rapid fire basslines. “Know You,” meanwhile, tones the heaviness down a bit, featuring twisted vocal samples, dramatic strings and wobbly bass sounds. Overall, the new material is a solid drum and bass offering from Spor that should definitely have fans excited for more.

It seems like while every other artist in the world is either worried about how they’re going to sell records or how they’re going to prove their street cred, he’s resolved to make the same profound music he always has.

But then, all that would have taken away from the surprise of Kofi Kingston not winning.

WWE decided, in their infinite wisdom, to hold another WWE PPV/Special Event in the month of May, meaning that in just over a month’s space there will have been three WWE supershows. Still, this has potential to be something special, so even though it is a bit of overkill, it’s interesting. WWE was taped this week from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. The crowd was nearly a sell-out, and it didn’t take long for the UK fans to make their voices heard.
Half an hour before bell time and all you could hear was “Cena sucks” chants (and many ruder variations). There was also a vocal chorus of “Cm Punk” chants. Despite all of this, Cena merchandise was selling well, with the usual contingent of women and children being the main market. At £16 for a flimsy Cena autographed card, you can see how WWE continue to find success in commercial avenues.
The tapings started with the ‘Superstars’ show. First up was Sin Cara defeating Curtis Axel in a basic match. All the usual flips and flops from Cara, but the crowd were firmly behind Axel.
The second ‘Superstars’ match was Heath Slater versus Big E. The crowd...

The sun has set on Bud Light Digital Dream Festival, but fear not Edm fans – the third incarnation of Veld Music Festival is set to hit Downsview Park in just over a week’s time. This year’s festival is primed to be bigger than any of its predecessors, too, with 2014′s line-up placing a huge focus on variety.
Smaller in scale than the expansive grounds of Ontario Place, Veld’s set-up brings forth two stages: the Main Stage and the Bacardi Stage. The Main Stage features a dazzling array of EDMs most prominent forces, inclusive of Dannic, Bingo Players, Tommy Trash, Dvbbs and W&W. The festival’s Main Stage also welcomes a plethora of the world’s top headliners to this year’s outing.

Sarah Lacina was pretty confident that she was safe on Wednesday (April 2) night's "Survivor: Cagaya." But Sarah was more than confident that she was staying. She was certain that she was the one deciding who would go home. In the immediate aftermath of the season's Merge, Sarah was positioned as the swing vote between two five-person alliances. She was the queen. She was the president. She was blindsided. Fed up with Sarah's power and insecure about her own position with her former Brains alliance, Kass was wooed to the dark side and flipped, sending Sarah packing in a shocking Tribal Council that saw two Hidden Immunity Idols get played on castaways who received a combined total of zero votes. It was a tough moment for Sarah, an Iowa-based police officer who immediately bonded with New Jersey's Tony to form the short-lived Cops -r- Us alliance. Nothing actually came of that alliance,...

Updated: NBC has given a late pilot order to Feed Me, a single-camera comedy from veteran producers Paul Junger Witt and Tony Thomas’ Witt/Thomas Prods (Blossom, Beauty And The Beast and its CW reboot, The Practice). NBC had been pursuing former Weeds star Mary-Louise Parker for multiple pilots. This is the script she responded to, helping it get a green light while the actress’ deal is being worked out. Feed Me would reunite Parker with NBC topper Bob Greenblatt who cast her in another dark comedy, Weeds, while at Showtime. Written by Sally Robinson, who penned Lifetime’s hugely successful Steel Magnolia remake, Feed Me is described as a comedic exploration of adult intimacy and desire that centers on a dysfunctional family bound by love and the restaurant they run together. And when daughter Emma’s husband has an affair, they circle the wagons to fiercely protect one of their own.

Matthew McConaughey has spoken about how his 'shocking' weight loss for Dallas Buyers Club changed his life.
The actor, who lost three and a half stone for his role, said that it was tough on his family, before admitting that his wife wasn't attracted to him during that period.
Speaking to The Sun, McConaughey said: "The first time I saw myself on screen I thought I looked like a reptile.
"It was an initial shock but I was able to shake that for the movie. My family saw my weight loss day by day, so they didn't have that shock — but I look back and I think perhaps it wasn't the easiest on them."
McConaughey said that although his wife Camilla Alves was supportive, "perhaps it was not so appealing to be intimate when I was in that zone".
He added: "It was tough, but what I lost physically down below,...

Matthew McConaughey has spoken about his "hardcore" diet for Dallas Buyers Club.
The Hollywood actor explained to reporters at Saturday's (January 18) Screen Actors Guild Awards that a small portion of pudding helped him lose 47lbs for the role of AIDS patient Ron Woodroof.
He said: "I found tapioca pudding and I found the tiniest little antique spoon in New Orleans, a little bitty sugar spoon, and I would eat it with that so it would last longer.
"Oh it was great in the morning when I would write from 4-6am with my tapioca pudding. I could make it last an hour."
McConaughey had previously stated that losing weight for the film was one of his toughest challenges to date.
He said: "It was tough going, I'm not going to lie. The dieting was pretty hardcore. I was losing 7lbs every week. I'd have a Diet Coke, two egg whites in the morning,...

Mobile puzzle game, Feed Me Oil 2 is on its way to iOS before the end of the year and it will build on the original’s concept of maneuvering oil through obstacles to fill a creature’s mouth. These obstacles include walls, gravity and other physical barriers. Feed Me Oil 2 takes these and also introduces new stumbling blocks, such as water and ice to play off of the physical properties of oil. Everyone knows oil floats on water and the game takes this scientific fact and, you guessed it, has oil floating on water as a gameplay element.
Feed Me Oil 2 will release first on iOS and should find its way onto Android devices later on, much like the original did more than a year after launch.
