Samoa Joe vs. Hook was polarizing for a number of reasons, but the crowd seemed to love it and that is all that matters. It brought back feelings of Wheeler Yuta vs. Jon Moxley. That was a better match, but it served its purpose of elevating the young talent. I just think Hook has a low ceiling due to his size, but we'll see.
There was a good, emotional moment with Mark Briscoe coming out to honor his brother and bring out his family which has overcome the odds. Jay Briscoe was a huge loss for the wrestling community, but I am glad their legacy is carried on with Mark still appearing on AEW TV.
