NBC and CBS said they would suspend production of its two flagship late-night programs for a period of at least two weeks, the latest bit of fallout around wee-hours TV related to the spread of coronavirus.
Starting Friday, “The Tonight Show” and “Late Night” will suspend production through a previously planned hiatus, which had been scheduled for the week of March 23. “We will continue to monitor the situation closely and make decisions about future shows as we get closer to the start of production,” NBC said in a statement. Meanwhile, CBS’ said “Late Show” would forgo production of three original broadcast scheduled for next week and would instead move into a hiatus through March 30. “We will continue to monitor the situation closely,” CBS said.

(Warning: This post contains spoilers from Wednesday’s “The Masked Singer”)
“The Masked Singer” moved on from its second crop of Season 3 contestants with its Wednesday episode, which introduced viewers to six more of the third season’s 18 competitors.
Those masked singers are part of Group C, a lineup that will compete over the next two weeks until they’ve been whittled down to three contestants who will join the remaining singers from Group A and Group B as the show’s “Super Nine” finalists for the remainder of the season.
Well, we already know at least one contestant who won’t be moving on to the finals: Bear, who was the first Group C contestant eliminated and revealed to be former Alaska governor and one-time vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. (You can see how viewers reacted to her unmasking — and performance of Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back” here.

Even though the latest 007 movie has been pushed to a release date in the fall, James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, still hosted last night’s “Saturday Night Live.” It’s actually been eight years since Craig last hosted “SNL,” and you know what? After this second time, while he may not be playing James Bond anymore, he can host any time he wants.
Host: Daniel Craig
If there’s one thing Daniel Craig makes clear in his opening monologue, it’s this: “I’m not a nerd. You’re a nerd.” Fine, while he may not be a nerd, he’s certainly not afraid to go all-in on a joke or, even better, be the butt of one. That is the key to this episode, and it’s really amazing to realize while watching that this man’s only hosted twice, despite how good he is at it.

Funny Face is the latest work from Tim Sutton, a New York-based director whose previous films–Dark Night (a bold revisiting of the 2012 cinema shooting in Colorado) and Donnybrook (about a lucrative bare-knuckle boxing match)–also focused on violent loners, albeit of a different variety. Cosmo Jarvis stars as Saul, a lonely outsider who enjoys James Dean, smoking cigs and watching the Coney Island Cyclone from the rooftop of his apartment. His love interest is a younger Muslim woman named Zama (played by newcomer Dela Meskienyar); the Bonnie to his Clyde.
